Feels like only yesterday when One Piece was considered to be some niche underdog thing in the west underneath Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Bleach.

I still can't believe how far it's come. It blows my mind... Lots of new fans (or even those that got into it in the 2010s) don't really know how bad it was back in the 2000s and, to a lesser extent, the early 2010s.
I'm glad things have changed.

Well they got the pronunciation right, AND mentioned Luffy’s appetite, while playing We Are, so that was really good!
Unfortunately, his brim popped so his hat wasn’t looking its best.
They still mispronounced Saiyan though.

I didn't catch the bit with Goku yet for this year yet, but the last time Goku was there they actually pronounced it correctly. Since I didn't see it yet I'm gonna assume they did it again this year. The way the English dub pronounces it is actually incorrect but it's so ingrained in the English fandom's culture at this point... so the fact they pronounced it correctly for the Macy's Parade is both amusing and surprising.
