If you got a number appended to your name...
Some users will realize that their username may have been renamed since the hacking. Because names with symbols have been treated differently or ignored in the new software, they may have conflicted with their non-symbol counterparts and got a number tagged on. For example, if there was a Fire-Fist Ace and a Fire Fist Ace, the latter one got renamed.
Can I claim an abandoned username that has 0 posts?
If it's an obvious 0 activity account with matching registration time and last log in, we'll delete it and give you the name.
If it had any signs of minor activity but is an insanely old account that will likely never return, we'd make a call on that.
So what do I need to do?
If you had your username automatically changed like this, post here with your desired new name and an admin will check.
