Anyone want to weigh in on how many of those Numbers freaks there are? I'm betting 9 or 10 depending on if the 'Ace' is part of it, otherwise it'll probably correspond to the numbered cards in a suit, 2-10. Don't know if Kaido has his own 'Joker' or '10' equivalent in his own crew or if he allowed the title of Joker to be held by Doflamingo despite not being directly affiliated. He has the Jack, King and Queen accounted for with the Calamities but they're worth as much as a '10' card in most games so maybe there's one more special member of the Beast Pirates that holds a high rank like theirs. Or the 10 would be the leader of those Numbers monsters.

Something similar to what happened with Katakuri being revealed late during Big Mama's arc. We know that the king holds a high position in almost any game, yet hardly ever the king beats the ace. I feel there are characters yet to be introduced in this already packed story arc.

Absolutely none. I peaked at a couple beyond OJ but when it seems like 80% of the discussion revolves around who would win in a fight I can only role my eyes. Though ever so often I would be interested in viewing their discussions if Sanji or Zoro made a good or bad showing. All that low/medium/high dif nonsense is a sight to see.

I thought the exectives of Doflamingo was supposed to represent number cards along with the devil fruit of 'Ace'.

That being said I did not expect we'd have the Numbers seprately.

Yeah, Doflamingo seemed to the bridge between Kaido's version of cards and the Donquixote family version. Doflamingo got the symbols of the four suits and the Joker, and presumably the Ace, and Kaido gets the names and numbers of the cards (possibly only 2-10, depending), as well as some names of actual card games like Holdem and Old Maid.

Robin gonna announce the hierarchy of Kaido's crew or since they're mostly together, Oda delegates that to someone else that she informed. Also, I need to hear about the Kokeshi dolls by the PG and Tenguyama and some other Wano resident's takes on Zoro's swords. Kinemon recognized Shusui right away, but didn't say anything about Wado or Sandai.

It looks like at least the official translation from VIZ/Shueisha will be early, since the end of this chapter in the official release said that the next chapter drops September 13, which is next Friday.

As for the scanlations, harder to say. If the official version is coming out sooner, I think they often do as well, but not always.

Someone probably said it already and I can't believe how long it took for it to come to mind. The numbers look like the Jailer Beast. When the spoilers for Kaido using his club against his lackey 1st dropped, I thought of the Jailer Beast, but for this, it took a whole week later to pop up in my head.

And I don't know, he seems to be running out of time for that unless he wants to save GB for the final war.

Most think either has some sort of plant fruit, or a radiation fruit. Hopefully, the former for Wano.

Sorry - but sending only Green Bull sounds like a suicide mission, and one asking for failure; even if he brings with him whatever super-pacifistas there might be.

Keep in mind, with all this crap happening in Reverie, I think the Marines and WG are going to be distracted for the time being, too. I think we are definitely getting the pro-oden revolutionaries and allies (Luffy, Kid, etc.) vs the Big Mom and Kaido forces, which will last us for some time. I'm sure we will learn some method of weakening Kaido... or maybe part of the stragey will become finding a way to get Big Mom and Kaido to fight one another again, since I think the chance of success against both of these forces is going to be very little... Even if the pro-Oden force is mostly focused on reclaiming the capitol and throne, and can probably take on Orochi's forces... The second Kaido and Big Mom's forces get involved, the chance at victory becomes basically zero without some new information. If Oda decides to just over-power Luffy from this little training session, I'm going to be a bit disappointed... If it were THAT easy to get THAT much stronger to fight Kaido, it's pretty anti-climatic. Maybe Luffy will be training pretty much the rest of the arc, a la DBZ?

There's only 5 days left for the fire festival, Akainu would be out of time to plan a proper invasion, so only the ones close to Wano would reach it in time.
And just wait for them to be Smoker, Tashigi and Ryokugyu

Based on fujitora's samurai theme, and how he and luffy are like buddies after dressrosa, they would work together for sure. But don't know about greenbull, if he is anything like kizaru and akainu, It's hard to see him help luffy with kaidou and bm.

I believe Green Bull is lazy justice so there will not be another Admiral with absolute justice. I judged it by his conversation with Fujitora. Bull was ordered by Akainu to stop Fuji from coming to Mary Geoise but he didn't bother to do that so u know

If the Minks have a deep history with the Kozuki, is their a possible connection with some Fishman? Neko and Inu's story sounds vague, but almost like they mistakenly got into Wano. Then, there's Zunisha being heard by Oden, but can be commanded by Momo. Also, Kawamatsu most likely being a fishman and the possible Jinbei connection with Wano.

The Sea Forest Poneglyph would suggest a connection, setting aside all the Japanese mythological ties. Ancient Wano probably hosted an entire community of inhuman races such as the Mink, Fishmen, and Winged races….basically the One Piece equivalents of legendary Japanese Yokai.

Ditto for Oar's race. I'm betting Joyboy himself was a horned oni himself, if not an Oars Titan entirely.

The Marines' depictions have pretty much always been that they are extremely ineffectual in actually accomplishing their objectives, or in helping the situations where the Straw Hats are the actual ones doing the fighting and winning. I don't see them changing that pattern here unless they're the sort of Marines who are like the reformers that want to shake up the status quo and won't let their orders to make enemies of the Straw Hats get in the way of actually doing what needs to be done to liberate Wano. Most likely, if they're still on the fence of if they're of the Akainu sort of justice believers, they'll just be the same spectators that they always are and not lift a finger or if they do, they won't make a dent and it'll be up to the hero pirates as usual.
