FINALLY, Tatiana!
UNDEAD UNLUCK
-
FINALLY, Tatiana!
-
I wonder why were Unruin and Unhealthy in the roadmap. Chikara's future girlfriend is an international model, and she's older this time. No more age gap couples, other than Andy and Fuko.
-
This is the first time an ability was about to manifest and it stopped, isn't it? Tozuka could easily have given Betty a translator tie or bow or whatever so we don't have to wonder how are both kids speaking with each other. Most likely Tatiana speaks English, since it's so common and she's an international model, but still. Or maybe the mom is Russian, since she fought Billy in a war. I don't know.
-
I don't get the intention of having Billy react to Tatiana all the time. Obviously there's soul stuff because they were close last loop, but I don't think anything will come out of it, right? She's got her parents and she's being shipped to Chikara.
-
Tatiana acquired, now what? Ruin and Lucy were on the roadmap but Fuko declared Tatiana was the last.
-
That was a good resolution. Given the countdown in the hologram it seems ball mode will still be her base design.
-
Always besties!
Makes me want to go back and re-read some chapters to see their previous bestie times.
-
I'm starting to think they'll use remember on Unruin. Did Fujo seriously never take off her hat and gloves? That can't be right.
-
MY BABY!!!!
-
Seems like lately, manga authors are inserting the series name in the story. First with Dandadan and now Undead Unluck.
-
Tozuka has made such a great job with Fuuko than even with Andy coming back I'm not even slightly worried about her stopping being relevant.
-
I don't think Clothy was with Fuko, but it also doesn't seem right that he survived Ragnarok and the sun. I think Chikara is getting his sight anyways, and the sound sight will be an extra boost.
-
@El-Matematico
Clothy was just happy to be around Andy's junk again that he manifested himself around it when it entered Earth. -
Did not expect Clothy!
-
Wicked sick lust for life

It's the first time we've seen the personalized unluck since the concept was introduced.
-
It's like he never left.
-
Andy should stick a credit card to his face so he doesn't look so weird.
-
Infinite unlucky is extremely busted, damn.
-
They need that considering how the ten superior rules are broken themselves.
-
I guess the editors want to go into speed mode too.
-
It does feel like it's been rushed, but then again, Undead Unluck always had very fast pace so who knows.
-
It's the end of the world as we know it

The suits got scared about 2 moneymakers ending so close to each other so they're giving my man Tozuka the "you need to end this ASAP" notice. Sigh...
-
I'm going to wait 1 more week before judging that editorial decision.
I still have a sliver of hope that things who won't go as bad as it seems.
If that hope is crushed next week, I will be very depressed and mad at the WSJ editors.
-
What could justify this decision? I don't get it.
-
I'm going to take a wait and see approach because I really don't understand the reasoning here. You'd think with two of their big hitters ending so soon that they would want to keep something like this going on for longer, not speeding towards its end.
-
I'm on denial until the "Ends in X chapter announcement", it's kind unfair and unjust to rush the end of this series...
wait a second, Tozuka-sensei is this a way to activate Juiz UNJUSTICE, isn't it?
Clever mangaka. -
Yeah, unless it gets announced that its ending I'm going to wait on judging. The Master Rules rushing to Ragnarok makes sense in lore and Luna definitely got set-up to be more of an antagonist now, so it's possible that Sun isn't actually the final fight.
-
Well, you gotta admit none of us were expecting that.
-
Skipping the 3 month period is within UU's fast pace, skipping the master rules fight is not normal. We've seen with Beast and Lan that these guys put fighting before reason, and there was even set up for War vs. Billy and Change vs. Gina. Lots of artifacts went unexplored, as well as soul haki and the avatar state stuff.
I guess the anime did flop spectacularly, but still, it's not like WSJ was getting many hit manga recently.
I hope that Ragnarok is at least as good as Tozuka originally planned, even if we got there sooner than it should have been. -
Trust Tozuka

Thank God this chapter went the way I hoped and that the fights with the master rules will still happen inside those satellites.
A lot of predictable match-ups and some really intriguing ones (Undraw vs Justice and Shen and Mui vs Time). Plus a lot of negators missing that have to join the action sooner or later (Feng and Ruin are probably saved for the final fight). And they still somehow have to get the final artifact.
Now that we can breathe a little, the setup really do make more sense storywise than individual quests with the rules followed by a Ragnarok arc. Union became too OP.
Let the author cook an amazing final arc.
-
This was a little confusing, but hey we're getting individual fights so that's what matters.
Although you really wonder does the Moon really care if her side wins?
-
I know Tozuka would never let me down. Now let's see how these fights turn out. If they're on the level of the Nico vs Language battle we're in for some good shit.
-
I am not sure the battles will be as long as versus Beast and Language as much I would like them to be.
I am being cautiously optimistic for now that at least none will be offscreened.
If the manga could resume getting frequent color pages like until a few months ago, I would start expecting more from those battles.
-
I was out for a week, seeing UU out of the literal bottom is great, but I can't help to notice that the art has degraded, including scribbles on the second page. I expect the fights to last half a chapter each at most, but I welcome anything longer. And finally we know the steampunk broom is Harlequin.
-
Juiz flashback incoming. Finally time to see the world from the start.
-
So Enjin (Unburn) was in the Gundam with Creed. That makes sense.
There's still quite a few negators missing.
I don't expect Unchaste and Unback to do anything big right now (especially the latter since I don't think she has awoken her negation ability).
I guess Top might have been sent to bring the artifacts (2 rewards from the previous quests were location of artifacts). Maybe with Haruka.
-
I'm guessing that's also how Feng will come back into the picture. They have to get the Three Sacred Treasures at some point and anyone currently fighting won't be able to.
-
Feng is a cheat code. He should only come back for the fight against Soul.
