From my understanding, Law and Ace are individuals who are close to the crew, but still had story to be told. At first, I thought Bonney, but there's no connection to the crew. Then I thought Hancock, but that felt off with the accessories in the clue. Vivi or Nami. Vivi isn't really high maintenance tho, so most likely Nami, if it's 1 of them.

Vague info so far, but "heroines" sound to me like a series of women-led short stories or novellas than a full Nami novel. Kind of like how the Star Hat Stories collection was still released under the "One Piece Novel" banner.

A Nami novel? She definitely has her post time skip outfit, so I assume it is some time after she was a student at Weatheria.
I would be intrigued by a novel about Vivi infiltrating Baroque Works, or literally anything between Nico Robin being between 10 and 30 sans the parts that were shown in the main Manga.
Koala joining the revolutionaries after the death of Fisher Tiger, and some missions with Sabo could be interesting, but I personally don't care too much about Koala. -
I would read a Song-of-Ice-and-Fire-length novel series that was just about Smoker and Tashigi's adventures across the Grand Line.
And as long as we're doing heroines. Please Robin. Just anything Robin related. That's all I ask for.
Either way, so long as the Nami novel comes out with an English translation, that's gonna be an instant-buy from me.

As suspected from the language when it was first revealed, it seems Heroines is going to be a series of vingettes, each segment focusing on a different One Piece lady, rather than a single full length Nami story. More like the Straw Hat Stories collection released a little while back than the recent Ace and Law sagas.

Just to be clear, we don’t know how relatable these sketches are to the current story, after all that Ace scene didn’t end up in the actual story, so whether these sisters and another character will be in the story or not is still unknown

Oda is killing it with these illustrations for the magazines. It's nice to see something different from the usual colorspreads.

I think we need more info about the Marshall sisters to consider them a big canon reveal. What does the text nearby say? What's the preface to this section of the magazine say? For all we know at this point they could be clearly outlined as a scrapped concept or had their importance reduced significantly since this drawing was done. They don't look as impoverished as Teach did as a kid, and we know that design was locked in a long time ago. Is that significant, indicating their circumstances changed suddenly, or that Teach was separated from them and ended up in a far worse spot, or just another sign they're from a prototype backstory that'll never see the light of day.
Consider me skeptical about their role and importance until there's more info about when and why this sketch was done and in what context its being released now.
These devil fruit designs are pretty nice though. Be cool if the magazine lasted long enough to give us a full catalog someday.

I agree, I personally believe those are just ideas.
The magazine is really vague on this topic as well and I paraphrased “There exists the possibility that they might just be early ideas. But what if they hold a bigger meaning to the actual story…..?” -
