I was a little confused since there was already that OVA like nine or ten years ago but I see they're using the art from the second one-shot instead. I wonder if they'll use Oda's current art style or try to mimic his 1996 one. That would be an experience.

This is the first time I heard the narrator say Eiichiro Oda's name. It sounded nice lol.

I like how this has a unique animation style and doesn't just copy the art style of Wano, it's actually very reminisent of Episode Of East Blue and I wouldn't be suprised if some of the same staff is involved.

Huh, so they are using Oda's modern art style, but still retaining some quirks from 1996 (Luffy's eye highlights and lack of scar) to differentiate it from Prime One Piece. Neat.

This is just going to be normal episode length, 22 minutes, right? Not like the "Episode of" TV Specials, but part of the normal anime episode numbering instead (Episode #907)?
So Funimation will likely not release it separately, but instead, get to dubbing it when they reach this episode set theoretically, right?

If it's a numbered episode it will probably have the normal length we're used to, but who knows, we'll just have to wait and see I think.
I wonder what they're going to do with the opening, it'll probably just be Over The Top with clips from the special similarly to the last filler,
But it would've been cool if the did something creative, like for example a reanimation of the original opening with early designs from both Romance Dawn versions. -
I think we're more likely to see the original We Are opening re-imagined than Over the Top.
Any details on the DVD release? The price seems quite steep for a one off 20 minute special, anything else included? Perhaps it also includes the previous pilot anime episode special?
