Cover prediction: Orochi(transformed), Shiobu and the head of the ninja squad(some or all of them in the background) + Kumaruski/kyoshiro. Pink color with the giant sakura tree in the furthermost background. Maybe ghost Brook and Nami will make it there as well.

Vol 93 will started from ch 932
it will be awesome if Queen and Big Mom also featured in the cover.

Depending on how the story goes, I think this could be an 11 chapter volume, just from the short chapters lately making the pagecount pretty tight with 10 chapters (though I think an updated version of the map is likely to be included at the end to help expand the extra content and counter this). "A Samurai's Mercy" and "Sumo Inferno" are the two frontrunners for the title at this point, honourable mention for "The Shogun and the Oiran," but with at least three, maybe four chapters to go, there's plenty of time for that to change.

I put together another quick and rough prediction mock-up for the cover. This was a hard one to change from idea to image just because the panels on offer didn't have what I wanted. I would have liked a more dramatic Zoro pose from his fight with Kamazo, but you either couldn't see his whole body, or you couldn't see his face. In the back square, Orochi's dragon form or Big Mom could both be replaced with Kamazo, X Drake or Hawkins. I'm not convinced any of the chapter titles so far is a good volume title, so I just went with the most dramatic sounding one.

I actually like a lot how Luffy, Zoro and Sanji look there, I don't know if the thief is going to have that much importance in the cover, I think that is going to be the place of Orochi and Komurasaki.

A bit of my own bias in Gyukimaru because I like his design, but also I thought it was a good look having the weapons along his back appearing behind the logo. Having Orochi up there might have been too similar to Kaido's position on the last cover.

"Sumo Inferno", "The Old Leopard Never Forgets the Way", and "Sparks of Rebellion" currently are good candidates for volume title imo. So watch it be called "Queen" or "Gyukimaru on Oihagi Bridge".

In light of recent chapters, pretend the second panel from the left in the back square has Yasu in it.

A revised prediction based on the actual ending of the volume. Yasu and Toko are central, Oda keeps using clouds to break up sections of the cover like with the last few, and the rebellion symbol/notes are prominent. I'm locking this in as my final answer.

Until some actual online listings go up and we get a pagecount we can't know for sure, but I'm feeling that 942 is a pretty safe bet.

Guessing title will be "The Spark of Rebellion". And everyone will have random rainbow vomit colors again.
I'm expecting Queen laughing on the cover. Lime green color scheme. Yasui was prominent so he'll be on it too, maybe the main focus with everyone else in the background. Prolly neon purple scheme or something. Then random prison characters to fill in the rest of the space. Might be a cluttered cover, hope not tho. -
It going up to 942 with the title 'Spark of Rebellion' seems to make the most sense to me. Luffy, Hyou, Zoro, Yasu, Orochi, Hiyori will for sure be on the cover. Maybe we will get Kyoshiro and O-Toko and maybe Robin, Nami, Brook and Shinobu. I can't see anyone else getting on the cover. Queen and Big Mom will probably be on Volume 94 because I imagine that's where act 2 will end.

Didn't expect Queen to be a blonde. I thought those lines on his head might be part of his hair, lol. Hyogoro's hair color is cool though.
Now we have 100% confirmation that Hiyori and Komurasaki are the same.

Queen looks even more like Rufus. I expect him even more to be a fat martial artist archetype (Tekken's Bob would be another example - also blonde).

Cover looks better than anything I could imagine. Absolutely worth the wait!
I expected Yasu to be positioned more centric but I'm fine with this although it irks me a bit that his face is partially covered by the scythe and I feel like the logo should still be on the top layer but that's just a nitpick.
Also any doubt about Hiyorisaki has been crushed finally. -

Huh, so Jack and Queen are both blonds. We may never get to see King's hair color but a trio of blonds would be kind of neat for no particular reason.

The only person that didn't make it from my prediction is Orochi. Now that I think of the narrative, all of the covers make perfect sense. I didn't expect Toko and Hiyori to appear in this 1, but it also plays to Zoro's narrative. Probably why Zoro is more of a focus over Yasuie. I like the blue flame color for Hyo. I see Luffy's Red becoming part of his result of training, so Hyo's hair color matches that. Yasuie's hair is my fav color.

It's an alright cover. Pretty standard. Not too minimal, not too cluttered. Yellow hair is tamer than what I was expecting for Queen.

It's so colourful! Not a huge fan of the layout; it's a bit of a standard characters-standing-around type one, but it's got too many characters to rely on the appeal of simplicity. I really did expect more emphasis on Orochi and the section in the palace at the start, with Queen saved for volume 94 (especially from what's been in that volume so far). Blonde Queen is exactly the kind of nonsense we've all come to expect from Wano, but I think something really funny in the stripes on his Obelix pants, of all things, remaining stark black in the colour version.
I think this is the first volume to have two background colours, not counting the ones with specific patterns like stripes and checks.
Probably Zoro on the spine, because literally no one else has enough uninterrupted vertical page real estate to be there without the top of someone else's head clipping in.

I wouldn't say the design is great either, but you can see in the second image that on the actual cover, the left side is cropped to make things more balanced.

True, but it doesn't necessarily help all that much. It's super weird the way that just the edge of Yasu's arm and foot get cut off, not to mention that Queen's robotic elbow gets cut off and his human one doesn't. And yes, Luffy and Hyou have significantly different length arms, but it's even less balanced the way they fall almost directly in the middle of the cover, with Hyou's arm generously leaving room for Sanji's pompadour. I love Sanji, but he's just crowding the space in his sneaky ninja crux.
I know it probably sounds like I'm being nit picky, but it's so wack.

Definitely not the best cover ever, but it does its job. To be blunt, I don't expect vol 93 to sell super well unless people just buy volumes without reading them. It's a MASSIVE buildup volume, with the best parts being at the beginning and end. I expect 94 and beyond to sell better and better but maybe that's just me being optimistic (though I kinda doubt it, the Wano hype in Japan is very real).
Anyway. Yellow hair on Queen is unique. Love Hyo's hair and Luffy's pose. The main standouts for me are the Zoro focus with him being injured saying to readers "Remember how he was invincible in the New World? Well not anymore!" And it's just cool to see him with a scythe. I give the cover a 7/10.
Croc or Enel would never.Wanna see the "ancient civilization destroyed" thing done really well? FFXIV did a great take on it. The bar's high for One Piece to beat.

I'm pretty sure Japan has a significant group of fans who read purely through the collected volumes, so it will sell. They all sell, after all, and it's hard to imagine even the lackluster cover and mostly transitional content is going to make a huge difference to that. It'll probably sell the normal amount, which is still a lot. I think you're right that volume 84 is going to be the real moneymaker though. The first four chapters alone have packed it with enough long-anticipated events to be worth the purchase price.
