When I clicked here I was expecting this:

1st chapter was okay. I suppose it has potential. Not a fan of horny protags. But at least he seems mostly harmless.
Are Exorcists a really popular thing? I feel like there's a lot of series floating around with that as the core concept.

Why post raws? It can be read in english legally in mangaplus https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1006691

Authors trying to fit in the hole left by demon slayer when it ends. Just like the various takes on ninjas that appeared since Naruto ended.
I'm hoping the hornyness gag ends soon, a lot of times it's not representative of the manga and just an attention grabbing technique (still wish it would stop, it makes mangas look bad).

I suppose that makes sense. But wouldn't they need a period piece with supernatural elements? This one is closer to Blue Exorcist or Twin Star Exorcists.

Ghosts and demons are a huge part of Japanese culture. It seems almost guaranteed that every woman believes in ghosts and any place that looks a little scary could have ghosts.
For example, I used to work and live in Japan. My female Japanese boss was going to set me up at a hotel but our town was small with only 1 or 2 small hotels. She asked me if it was okay to stay at the old small hotel nearby or if I'd rather be in the big city but have to take a train. After talking to her a bit she confessed she wouldn't recommend the old small hotel to any women because it seemed old, scary, and haunted but because I was a man I could probably handle it. I assured her it was not a problem and I'd rather be nearby and not have to take 30 minute train rides plus the time I'd have to spend waiting for them. In the end, I was a murdered by a ghost so it all turned out okay.
