The movie is never gonna see the light of day. “Only one Blade” indeed…
Marvel Movies Thread - Holy Shitballs

I'm amazed Mahershala Ali hasn't left yet.
-
At this rate the Gundam & Akira Live action movies will be out before Blade is.
-
Personally, I would be way more excited for a "Midnight Sons" film starring Blade, Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night etc.
I wonder if we are ever get any follow-up to any of the post-credit scenes in Eternals, though...

It's a unique situation. It's not Deadpool where Disney got to pick which of the Fox franchise to continue and due to it having it's own proven market, they let Ryan do as he please with of course some collaboration.
It's also not their regular practice where they have a plan for the character, pick the actor, then everyone does as Marvel Studios ask.
This is a situation where Mahershala made the call and Marvel was excited to have someone with pull ask for the character. So, now Mahershala and his production company have a vision and standard and so does Marvel Studios. They have to compromise.
No other situation like it. Eternals, Iron Man, Cap films all Marvel hires and doing as they say.
2 directors out and they are on their 6th writer. Nic who created/developed True Detective and worked with Mahershala multiple times was brought in last year, so it looks like Mahershala is getting his way in some aspects.
Unfortunately Lindo and Aaron are out. Especially Aaron who is heavily sought after. It's a real mess. It makes sense why Marvel chooses to hire everybody and do auditions.

Not getting good reviews
-
@Shiebs neither did the first two film Tbf. What matters is whether audiences enjoy them.
-
If the movie is gayer than the first two then it will be better.
-
Iono, the trailers seem to sell the campiness that made the first two enjoyable to many. Expecting it to be a hit and a nice sendoff for Hardy’s Venom series
-
The Last Dance was decent enough. Kind of slow and the laughs weren't as big. But the whole thing really did come together in the climax.
-
It turns out that The Last Dance was, in fact, very gay. These bisexual husbands will never not be the biggest losers in their universe and I love them so much for it.
I do wish

Marvel Animation's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (10 Episodes) - January 25th
Marvel Studios' Captain America: Brave New World - February 14th
Marvel Television's Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 (9 Episodes) - March 4th
Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* - May 2nd
Marvel Television's Ironheart (6 Episodes) - June 24th
Marvel Studios' The Fantastic 4: First Steps - July 25th
Marvel Animation's Eyes of Wakanda (4 Episodes) - August 6th
Marvel Animation's Marvel Zombies (4 Episodes) - October (most likely Halloween)
Wonder Man (10 Episodes) - December -
So the first five episodes of Agatha All Along are pretty standard, about what you'd expect from a Marvel show.
Then we hit episode six and, for some reason, the show starts firing on all cylinders, giving maybe the best episodes of all the Marvel Studios shows (episode 7 is probably the best single episode period).
