EDIT: How many times has Alabasta content been animated for recaps and such. It's gotta be One Piece's Skyrim.

Anyway, looks like we'll be getting some grand fleet cover stories.
Great episode. All three princesses meet and find common ground; this is the start of Reverie. A nefarious plot looms as we see how slave labor powers the luxuries of royalty. That same bastard who went after Camie on Sabaody has his eyes on Shirahoshi. The next episode title is mysterious indeed.

Those scenes are from the present time, they're coming to the Reverie. There's no a single trace of the recap in the preview, but who know tho

Anyway, I enjoyed the Alabasta arc recap. It was nicely reanimated even if it was partly taken from 777, Yoshikazu Tomita handled the majority of the reanimated defeats of the baroque work members, and while that was a bit conservative, I did think he did a great job with the brief reanimation of the first round against Crocodile, that Sables felt very visceral. Speaking of visceral, Katsumi Ishizuka's reanimation of Luffy's storm against Crocodile, a scene he animated originally, is arguably more visceral and weighty than his original, and is absolutely the highlight of the episode.
Really excited for next episode, especially if we can pick up any new clues about THAT scene in the animated version that we may not have gotten in the manga.
Haven't watched the anime in a few weeks thanks to schoolwork, though what I've heard about the extensive flashbacks has tempered my excitement a bit. This episode was pretty good, all things considered. The present-day content was well executed, and the flashback was put together well and not a jumbled mess like in Dressrosa/early WCI (though the fight recaps were pretty poor). It's really been over 2 years since Episode 777 aired, damn.
Finally, that scene is coming next episode. I've been waiting ages for it.
It being animated, might reveal further clues we might not have picked up on in chapter
They showed that all the princesses had the same face, the whole episode was a flashback and they spoiled the big reveal from the next episode in the preview. Just wow.
