A fun end to a seeming mini-arc to kick off Wano. At first I was appalled by what happened to Speed, but the sheer audacity ended up making it hilarious and honestly it's a much more satisfying resolution than anything else I could think of.
I liked how much of a straight man Law became after finding out all the ridiculous crap that Luffy and Zoro got themselves into. So long as the ridiculous crap is more prevalent in the story, Law could easily become a pretty enjoyable part of it.
The tombstones, though…all I have to say is wow. So many potential reasons, everything to speculate but nothing to build on so far.

Was "seven ghosts" a translation error? I don't remember seeing that in the spoiler thread's picture of the raw panel.
Also Law is gonna drop dead from an aneurysm in the next 2 chapters.

Law is quite afraid of Jack getting to their location.
It is most likely because it started chain reaction.
Zoro and Sanji taking on Jack together would be very cool for me. Other thing is that Luffy already promised back on Zou that he will smack Jack good when they meet so I am almost sure that it will be Luffy and someone that will take down Jack.
Monster Trio taking on Jack would be extremely cool in my opinion. And still having problems with taking him down because of his monstrous CoA - I expect that Jack will have hardest CoA that we seen in action during series. Dukes could not take out Jack for 5 days, he is monster when it comes to stamina and durability and Zoans fast recovery also takes part in how hard it is to KO him.
Jack was not KOed by Zunisha attack and that was something alike to Luffys King Kong Gun(KKG would be stronger out of two in my opinion) so he will be a challenge even for Monster Trio.
Then after Jack would be taken down.. we would have Kaido getting to know that Strawhats are there and War would start.
I am very interested how strong Wano Samurais are, I would like to see someone stronger than Zoro fighting together with Strawhats against Kaido and Orochi.

First of all, I'd like to copy here one of my posts in chapter 914.
"Ok, in this chapter we learned that Oden was the Shogun of Wano 20 years ago. Besides that, Momonosuke once said that he met Roger when he was younger (which we assumed was him lying or confusing Roger for someone else). What if Oden died over 20 years ago and then Momonosuke and cia travelled in time to the future? Maybe not intentionally and not consciously. That's obviously a very absurd interpretation of the facts, but I find this amusing."
There are still other more logical explanations, buuuut… I'm a little bit closer now.
Anyway, good chapter. I was sure that Oda wanted this Bakura incident to disturb the Alliance's plans, lol. And Tama with Luffy is too cute...

Well I think the progression is something like this: Katakuri had best CoO of all Luffy's enemies so far, Jack will have the strongest CoA. It's a means of building up Luffy's Haki through fighting.
Might be wrong who knows, it's how I see it. -

I imagine that fight would be like two chapters long and finish of it in next chapter. I imagine that Monster Trio will fight Jack together and only with Luffys KKG they will be able to KO him.
I expect Jack to have monstrous CoA that together with how tough he is will make it very difficult to give him big damage and knock him out.
This way we would see Sanjis Hell Memories, Zoros Asura and Luffys very strong attack. I expect Jack to be able to take Kong Organ to the chest and walk it off without taking much damage.

I'm excited to get some Wano lore. Wondering about Zoro comment though… I suppose they are related outside of Wano, to have an impact on him.
If Momo's age is on the tombstone, we might know more about his age and the comment about meeting Roger.

I think he is most likely thinking about this situation.
I feel bad for him for some reason, his resolve to fight with Kaido was completely broken. I do wonder if Hawkings crew was killed or if he used his cards and chances of winning against Kaido are very close to 0.
End of this arc will be insane with Big Mom Pirates, Kaidos pirates, Marine Admiral with Marines and Supernovas… Really Oda said truth some time ago - Marineford will be small compared to this.

Oh man. Considering the hate she was getting on Social Media for her design people are gonna whine about Speed's taming forever now. I thought it was pretty funny.
A few chapters ago I was worried about the arc dragging as man I just want to see the crew back. At least we are having a lot of Characters brought in and things are happening so it's still exciting.

IDK if the context means that Bellamy draws all of them, but I assume once Oda has shown all the SH-fleet-flags, we will see Bellamy's Version of the Strawhat-flag.
That is how I'd pull it off judging from the newest cover page.
But the fact, that this cover is first half of the final page, contradicts my assumption. -
Awesome chapter! Really glad to see Hawkins interacting with Law very much aware of what was up. He'll join the alliance undoubtedly. Can't wait to see Kaidou's bigger forces! And maybe these "ghosts" are going to explain to us how Momo was able to "meet" Roger.

At last my interest for Wano is picking up.
I'm intrigued by the "ghosts" story, but also slightly disturbed that Luffy ignored all warnings and will let his actions bring Jack's wrath on both towns (assuming the food theft won't go unpunished either). Well, he'll just have to fight off a Calamity or two, I guess. :getlost: -

The fact that she was gonna do it with a knife was the worst part. That was so over the top and out of left field I chuckled at that panel.

Once again Oda shows how Zoro operates on the same wavelength as Luffy. They both casually address Law in the same way. I love it.
I also love that Luffy also more or less declared the area his territory by claiming responsibility. Its like Bege(or the mafia theme of bege) really influenced him. The Fifth emperor continues to expand his territory.
However, while it was done as a gag. Luffy asking for meat from the starving guys sort of reminds me of Big Mom and how she acted during her hunger pangs.
I still hate that Oda introduced the soul transferring power in PH. It just makes Law look stupid for even struggling with anyone.
@Kishido raises an interesting question. Why didn't Ace come back to the island with the WB fleet? So maybe the island is stuck in a time loop and that's what makes it difficult to get too?

If you look here https://jaiminisbox.com/reader/read/one-piece-2/en/0/918/page/14 you can see that there is also a guy with a snake coming from his bellybutton. So that means therer are 3 types of Smile users so far: 1 that has animals come from their belly(Holden, Snake-man), one that has animal parts on his head/shoulders ( Bat-man, Rabbit man, Seal-man) and one that has animal parts in the lower body ( Speed, GAzelle man or whatever his name is). This is probably how artificial DF work but we don;t know if the user chooses where the parts should appear or it is random.

Best thing about this chapter: no break. Imagine 2 weeks full of ghosts samurais and time travel samurai theories. 1 week is too much already.
Moria has to show up, this cemetery is perfect not only for the halloween that will be soon but also for moria and his theme. Since absalom is working as reported Absa, then moria must be up to news with everything in the world.

Because that would result in an allout war between Whitebeard and Kaidou, no? Yonkou don't infiltrate the others territory, they respect it to some degree.

We Need a proper timeline about any Event happened on Wano.
The graves look really old (they're obviously made of Wood, but still). Oden's rule was like 20 years ago. as well as the robbery of Ryuuma's corpse.
But Moria's loss to Kaidou was 10 years ago. Also they didn't Need to figh on Wano. I assumed Moria somehow ran into Kaidou at sea (yet).
Then there is Momo's talk about Roger and how he knew him.
I like time travel, but it has the habit to create a lot of inconsistency in a Story.
Also, why is Oden still dead? Would the other "ghosts" whine so much if Oden was just Shutenmaru in disguise?
The 3rd kozuki-grave is probably Momo's mom's. Interestingly, it is behind Momo's.
Ace has lso been there. Are we certain he ony went once to Wano? And was it before joining WB or after?
If he was there only once, he just had one Chance to weave a hat for Oars III.EDIT: Ryuuma's corpse was stolen 23 yrs ago. So one year after the execution of Roger (I am adding Roger, cause Moria was in Loguetown that time. IMHO he is the main culprit in the robbery).

Ace came to Wano 4 years ago. I assume this was after joining WB. When he finished the hat, he brought it to Oars, returned to WB and before he could return to Wano, BB probably killed Thatch and made Ace goin for his last quest.

if he's confirmed being still dead, Oden's DF ability is the prime suspect behind the supposed time travel of his loyal subjects. Even if he's stille alive actually, but it would be really cheap as for now. One time, one way time travel DF power with some other limitations that caused him to stay behind and die while his subjects, presumed dead, left on a quest in time for vengeance. I could dig that.

Big Mom and her crew would steamroll Wano, I doubt she'll join the conflict. Maybe she'll have a talk with Kaido about whatever, see what's going on, she'll lmao at his crew, and then something comes up that convinces her to go to Elbaf instead.
