! @Kaido:
! > Does the story confirm Bullet escaped from Impel Down 2 years ago?
! Yeah, it says Bullet escaped from Impel Down when Luffy and Blackbeard intruded.
! In the film, there is a scene where Blackbeard is surprised to see Bullet in Impel Down Level 6.
Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...

! Yeah, it says Bullet escaped from Impel Down when Luffy and Blackbeard intruded.
! In the film, there is a scene where Blackbeard is surprised to see Bullet in Impel Down Level 6.Two questions :
1. What forms does Bullet have other than that one in the trailer ?
2. How does Law help in the fight against him ?
-
If at all possible, can anyone tell me more about
! Mihawk and Perona from the movie? Did they get new costumes or are they in their normal clothes? I saw the spoiler that said that Perona beat Sentomaru but was it an actual attack or just a negative hollow? Was anything interesting said with Mihawk and Perona or are they just there real quick and not say much?
-
! As expected, if 19 bullet was already equal to prime rayleigh, then it's same how 19 luffy was equal to prime katakuri, yet luffy is still rather far from his prime.
So prime rayleigh was on par with top calamity/sweet commander/ marco, not yonkou like some expected based on nothing. -
Thanks Scotch and Redon
The boats are lit
-
Opening Day: 590027 Seats.
-
Give me Sanji spoilers even if he doesn't do much
-
I mentioned it in my YouTube review and discussion but keep in mind that those boats' clean rough designs are from Toei. Bits and pieces of rough sketches from Oda are included throughout.
I also agree with Sandman that you shouldn't consider Oda's involvement in Bullet's backstory. If it was fully created by him they would tout it as such. Either way, good on Toei for learning how to make a villain from Oda.
Kishido, Sanji stuff
! Not much to spoil. He fights Smoker (uses Haki to hit the smoke) and launches a single attack against Lucci. As usual he plays the defender.
uniaka,
! In my review I went into why his actions put him above Mom in some respects.
Nintendocat
! They're basically in and out. Well-animated scene though.
papadight
! 1. What forms does Bullet have other than that one in the trailer ?
! Base
Various states of ripped clothing.
Combined with his submarine ship in gorilla-robo form
All-powerful form where he merges with the island and resembles a humanoid Chinese Dragon.
Rage all-powerful form where he strongly resembles a gorilla
Then whole-body CoA base form
! I think that's everything.
! 2. How does Law help in the fight against him ?
! He transports material away from his body with a massive ROOM and later performs at least one physical attack. -

They don't do him wrong. It's a satisfactory showing BUT nothing that makes you fist-pump besides that second interaction I mentioned. It IS important though.
-
@greg-san What about Zoro? Did you like the clash against Fujitora? Killer and Smoker? Does Zoro have more screen time (action-wise) than in movie gold?
-
yoro
! Covered a lot of that in my YouTube discussion/review with spoilers if you have a chance to check it out please do. Yeah Zoro has a lot more screentime than GOLD and his fights are satisfying. However, don't look for him to definitively beat anyone he hasn't in the comic. That is to say, while he might not beat Fujitora himself, he does fight against an aspect of Fujitora's ability and its grand.

Is Nami good in a way that doesn’t involve fanservice?
-
Can anyone tell me who's the character credited as "???" and who's his voice actor?
-
What about Franky? I've heard that he gets the least focus of the strawhats, and that's the deciding factor on whether I'll see this movie or not.
-
Talking about the movie's spoilers in great extent: https://thelibraryofohara.com/2019/08/10/one-piece-stampede-spoiler-talk/
Can't confirm everything for certain since I'm going by memory, but I'm pretty confident about most of it.

Spoilers!
[hide]I could be wrong since I didn't pay attention to the specific credit, but I believe it's referring to Ace since he's not credited anywhere else. This is likely to save the spoiler of his ghost appearing at the end of the movie (pretty sure it's just a vision from Ann though, since she's rescued by the Revos and the effect is the same used for the Bijyo Bijyo)[/hide]–- Update From New Post Merge ---

He does some cool stuff and fights a little at the end, but no one named in particular. That said I feel that applies to some other Straw Hats (Nami and Robin for example and even Chopper barely does anything, can't recall him getting in a single real fight), so I wouldn't say he's necessarily dead last in terms of screentime.
[hide]He gets inside the shogun and fights some pacifistas, that's about as much I remember [/hide]
In terms of relevance I'd say Luffy and Usopp are the highlights. After that I'd say Zoro, Sanji and Brook for getting some fights and the rest kinda behind that.

She gets some cool moments, even some interacting with Luffy and Usopp, but nothing particularly insane. With how much focus she had in SW and Gold, it's no surprise she plays a minor role here. If anything, Usopp is the Straw Hat of the movie.
[hide]She does however get to unleash Zeus, so that's pretty cool! [/hide]
-
Ok I’m back again. Croc is the man. Whatever you think of the movie it reignited my interest in one piece and I think I’ll be around the forums more.
-
What I'm hearing about Usopp sounds really awesome. Here's hoping for a US release announcement ASAP.
And man, I feel like I'm writing fanfiction when adding info about Bullet on the wiki. Dude's accomplishments are unbelievable.

Ugh. Thanks for letting me know. Guess I can skip this one too then.

Um, sorry, but why exactly is that reason to skip the film?

What an odd reason to skip a film… He doesn't usually get much screen time even in the main series so what's the big deal?

I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this, but Franky is one of the only characters I actually like in one piece. Not saying I hate or even dislike most other characters(aside from Usopp, who I do genuinely dislike) I'm just ambivalent toward them. Franky, Robin, and Brook are really the only reasons I even read the manga anymore, and I haven't watched an episode of the anime since mid dressrosa.

Franky is a very large part of my investment in one piece, so when he doesn't really do anything I'm not especially inclined to pay the series any attention. I know it's weird, but would you watch or read something that you didn't particularly care about if one of the few things you do care about gets shafted into the background?
-
So Nami has Zeus but no Raid Suit Sanji

If you are a fan of the series than yes?
I'm a Crocodile for gods sakes.

I am a fan of the series…kind of. But my enjoyment comes from certain characters, and not the plot, or story, or anything like that. Despite my favorite characters being strawhats, they're constantly shafted and treated as background characters in favor of characters that I find either boring (Luffy and Zoro) or painfully annoying (Usopp). So I guess I'm still a fan of the series because I've come this far and want to see it through more than anything.
-
If you find Luffy boring, you might get more enjoyment out of another series. Luffy is the core of the series not only as the main character but as someone with an attractive enough personality to the characters in that world that they're willing to drop their lives and travel with (essentially) a kid.
Luffy wasn't one of my favs until a few years back but once working with the series I've learned how important his personality is to the core of the series and the characters in that world. Not only that, but Oda basically is Luffy.
I think you'll save yourself a lot of avoidable grief if you move on.
If it's any consolation, I'm completely with you on not only having the crew split, or leaving us without certain characters for years at a time. I really wish we'd be able to go back to just the crew but the story is too big for that now.

i completely agree with Greg here!

So Nami has Zeus but no Raid Suit Sanji
I guess it makes sense since it will still be a while until he uses it in the anime, while nami got and used zeus since cake island. It was expected we would only see soba mask in the next movie.
! But this is still no excuse for sanji's lack of proper fight. like he doesn't even fight smoker alone but with brook. and some small clash at the end with lucci.
But once sanji goes super sentai, there is no excuse left for movie guys not to give him proper battle.. -

I might've seemed a bit harsh on Luffy by calling him boring, but I only meant that as a comparison to other characters that I enjoy more, and only in my perspective. Luffy being my 5th favorite character isn't deal breaking for me by any stretch. And the series does have great qualities like excellent build up and foreshadowing of future events, near perfect character interactions (even the ones that I don't like are made better by interacting with others) and always finding ways to reintroduce old characters into the current story to keep them relevant( cp9, hatchi, Bellamy-who happens to be my favorite non strawhat character btw). I'm just kind of in a lul because my favorite characters (Franky and Robin) aren't really doing anything right now is all.

We already know how Zeus works. They're not going to spoil the Raid Suit's ability before the anime gets to it.
-
Yep we will have to wait for the next film (not before 3 or 4 years I guess) to see the Raid suit, Ryuoo and all the new stuffs that appear in Wano in a movie.
Maybe if we have a special episode next summer, we might see those earlier. -
It's logistically impossible to have included the Raid Suit.
It was just in the comic and planning for the film began over a year ago.
If it was a panel during end credits or something that's a different story but no way it could have been in the main story w/o it being a deal like post-skip Ao Kiji being revealed in Z.
-
Is Zeus being in the movie the proof that he's considered to be fully part of Nami's arsenal (BM ain't getting him back) or I'm simply looking too much into it?:ninja:

Still no torrent

There wont be any until the movie is on DVD and or Blu Ray.

Film Gold was aired in Japanese TV show 3 hours ago. At the end of the program, new long trailer of Stampede was released.
Here is the Cam-quality video. Hopefully someone will share the HD version.
This video might get deleted due to copyright issue, though. -
Thanks Sandman

Holy Shit! I'm more hyped about the film than I had even thought possible now!

I've put the manga on hold since Dressrosa because the weekly cliffhangers were bad for my heart (will catch up once Wano has concluded), still love the series and characters though and would like to watch this movie
Will I be able to follow the plot even though I haven't followed the last few arcs? I watched an enjoyed Film Gold without problems. -

[Better Quality] One Piece Stampede Special Trailer (contains major spoilers)
I admit it: this trailer got me hyped up. It's like a huge fighting fanservice movie. I despise it at least as much as I love it.
-
Yeah, the overwhelming impression I'm getting from everything surrounding this movie is that it's basically, "Movie 4, but DBZ". Sounds like it lacks a strong emotional core like Gold did but compensates with pure spectacle. And that's okay, I'm fine with turning my brain off and enjoying the pretty colors and people punching each other for two hours every now and then.
! I'll give them a pass since they're buffing my boy Croc and seemingly treating Usopp better than canon has all timeskip?
What's come out of the key animator list so far is super-duper stacked, though I'm a little sad that Yuki Hayashi doesn't seem to have returned (it was always 50/50 though) and the apparent lack of Umakoshi hurts just like it did with Gold. Hopefully he can squeeze out at least one more bit on the anime itself before the Doremi movie takes up the rest of his time. Itsuki Tsuchigami though's an unexpected surprise!
