Because the one Caribou wanted to inform about Poseidon was not Kaido, so if the latter is defeated, Caribou will most likely go free to deliver the message to…X. I think X is Blackbeard, but who knows.

My take on the whole Ancient Weapon thing? A pirate consortium will be the ones in control of Pluton (since it started out as something sought after by a pirate), the Revolutionaries and their allies will control Poseidon since the residents of Fishman Island have been treated as inferior by the people the Revolutionaries are trying to bring down, and given their lofty nature, the Celestial Dragons and Marines will bring Uranus into battle. A big three-way battle that by virtue of having an entire new side to it, will dwarf the battle at Marinford.

Is anyone else really bothered wondering what fate befell the other Straw Hats who arrived the same way as Luffy? It seems odd that the rest of the crew, Kinemon and his allies, the Heart Pirates and even Kaido's forces haven't noticed the half-dozen or so new intruders, and given that they're not accustomed to how things work, they'd likely be caught right away, or at least found to be suspicious enough to raise a few alarms.

Depends on how much Beast Pirates attention Luffy and Zoro will bring on themselves..
If Kaido will hear about them being in Wano, he might come to beat them up directly or send all Calamities to beat them up and bring Zoro and Luffy to him. Hard to tell really.
I must say that I am quite suprised that Wano seems to be so "event packed" as we seen in last few chapters.
What I am eager to see is more from Sanji, Oda left me hungry after Whole Cake Island. With hunger problem and Germa suit there will be some time to shine for Sanji.
I would love if we would see Sanji in Raid Suit beating someone strong like X-Drake in T-Rex form, would be awesome to see "Power Ranger Sanji" saving life of his friends but using Raid Suit for that. Just one of 100 scenarios that can happen this arc..
I would say it seems kaidou is underestimating them, but hawkins seems to be the only relevant member that knows about them and for some reason decided not to tell. Kinemon's powers seem to do a great job to keep the ones that got here first undercover, if he even fooled Gladius that he is doflamingo. Still having so many strangers in a country that is locked for outside should raise flags, wano doesn't seem that full with people. Bm did warn kaidou about luffy so he should expect him and not just wait for luffy to go to his castle.

That was after they revealed themselves to Pudding, who then sent them to an ambush. If Wano is as big as i think it is, there's no way for Kaidou to effectively guard the whole border against intrusion, the fact he has headliners reacting as fast as Hawkins did to reported incidents is as much as you can expect.
I'm rather enjoying having Luffy and Zoro run around the place doing whatever they're about to do, since the start they've been the proactive troublemakers, where the rest would just shill and react when the mess begins.
Also if i remember right, Law and his crew were hiding in some ruins outside the populated areas, so it's probably just the Strawhats being who they are who thought it'd be ok to hide in the middle of an isolated country looking as they do and actually pulled it out because reasons. I don't take that too seriously.
With Caribou and Moria being possible allies, this arc Needs an unexpected wild Card to Show up, too. Like somone from the BBs. Kizaru and BM might be relevant after or during the huge clash.
God, I'd love it if Sanji took on a fight with Kizaru (like Luffy picked it with Fujitora @ DR). Would silence some fanboys crying for some Sanji-Action.

Could be the Captain (or former) of the Rox/Roxx/Rocks faction (the faction, seemingly, that Big Mom/Kaido/Whitebeard/Ms. Bakkin/and possibly Shakkie belonged too) Garp mentioned, which might also be the lurking legend that Oda mention…last year I think? He could of been a Level 6 prison or some-such and escaped when the disturbances were caused at Impel Down.

I mean, the others had the benefit of being with Kinemon when they arrived, so they knew how to do that, I'm not entirely sure in a place like this even the smarter folks would be able to blend all the way in (although Sanji did seem somewhat knowledgeable about Samurai when he put Kinemon's head back together.

She strikes me as more short-tempered and impatient than Kaido, though.

God, Fishman Island really did have the most superfluous, random ass dead-end characters, didn't it. Vander Decker says hello.
I think it's okay to say that FI had some superfluous characters, but Caribou is definitelly not a "random dead-end character". He got information about Poseidon and this will be relevant in the future, suposedly… and he also does the job of worldbuilding by explaining to us what is the usual level of a Supernova that didn't come from the Worst Generation.
Just letting you folks know, Zeo became superfluous by purpose.

Information might be a bit harder to come buy since they stayed in Wano. Luffy has been in hiatus for years and his recent activities are recent.
