No. In Chapter 720, when he is talking to Burgess on the Den Den Mushi, the snail has the beard in braids. He was never shown with braids before this. The image they are using is from Marineford.

That's what I meant. We know he has beards, but he has not been seen, fully, since the time skip. Only in things like the DenDen, silhouettes, or face shots. So, they still have to use the Marineford look for him.

I think it shows the possibility to create custom characters, even the "At the crossroads of the worlds a new hero rises" makes me think of it

It is likelly, but I dislike it, so much work going to that thing (custom character builders are hard to balance), and we are at (DB, Naruto, Bleach, HxH, One Piece and special aparitions from Death Note) 5 franchises plus one extra at less than 6 months to the release date.
The other choice is that it is your "avatar" that is only a literally nameless character that is the "tag along kid" for this adventure.

In Jump Force’s online setting, players will be able to create their own customized avatar and interact with players from around the world.
Based in a huge lobby composed of four distinct places – the worlds of One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and the real world – players will be able to tailor their own avatar to create an ultimate fighter, before fighting against others online.

i didn't feel the need for custom character, but everything else looks really goood. I LOVE graphics and art style :wub:, at the moment my only concern is maps being too big and dispersive or a lack of an immediate rush toward the enemy.

Gon and Hisoka are animated especially well, I must say. Gon is so adorable. One of my favorite SJ protags. OMG LIST TIME
Luffy - the perfect Goku
Yusuke - the best yankee thug
Gon - the best KID Goku
Goku - an average Goku
Kenshin - fairly cute samurai, moving along
Ichigo - an inferior, but initally enjoyable Yusuke
Naruto - an inferior, but intially enjoyable GokuI've only read or watched a little Fist of the North Star, Assassination Classroom, My Hero Academia, and JoJo's / and everything else is just heresay for me.

I'm starting to think that's not the officially release date, Bandai didn't set it for early 2019. It's taking while to get a new scan from wsj or vj for full confirmation even though the vj cover says "Scheduled to be released in 2019".
It just seems YonkouProductions and this user Spangle probably just went off ScotchInformer info.

I'm guessing unannounced. But still that set doesn't seem like it will have a strong lineup or it will be a complete dick move.

If I have to guess, they'll most likely be side characters from franchises that already have their main character in the base game, because it would be too weird for them to license a show only for it to be DLC only.
