So we have 2 chapters of Totland, 6 of the Reverie and 2 of Wano in this volume, assuming next chapter is the last one. That's a ridiculous variety of things for a single book!
Really the cover is anyone's guess - Oda could play up the finale of Totland and the sacrifices (Jinbe's in particular) that capped it off, he could put the Reverie everyone's been waiting for in the spotlight and emphasise the return of Vivi and other fan favourites, or he could try to draw in the readers that have been waiting so long for the return of Zoro and company and the start of Wano. Any one of these things could be the focus of the cover, but I don't think there's room enough for all of them.
I'd put most of my money on the Reverie getting the most space tho, and "The Reverie Begins" as the volume title.

Given how much it's been hyped up, I'm expecting a Wano cover instead. Even though a Reverie cover would make more sense.

Wano would be more of a reveal at the end of the volume, so I think the cover will be reverie related.

There are so many good chapter title candidates that could be used.
I lean more towards "A Beautiful World". -
I expect either The Fifth Emperor or A Beautiful World. Preferably the latter. The cover will most likely be reverie characters. Shirahoshi has been the most prominent so I expect her. Vivi too. Maybe Stelly and Sabo. Maybe MAYBE Cobra. And if not these guys, then the five elders.

Luffy is usually in every cover. I imagine there could be a reference to him being named 5fifth emperor. Really hoping for a Reverie cover, but not sure which kings will be in it. Would like to see Koby as well… well, no idea what it will look like

I'm betting on "A Beautiful World" as well.
If I had to imagine a cover, I'd predict Luffy on the top, some of the Reverie participants in the middle, and Jinbe and Zorojuro on opposite edges. Or maybe something similar to Volume 70's color

If we cut back to the reverie after 909 then it'll definitely be a reverie based thing. It still will probably be that seeing as how it'll likely be 901-910 or 901-911. Probably all the characters in the reverie set up on in the style of volume 81

More chapters? I really can't imagine 911 or 912 as a volume ender though. 911 in particular feels like an opening chapter more than a closing one. 910 is the perfect place to it to stop. As for Shokugeki no Sanji, I could take it or leave it. I don't care greatly, but like all the other spinoffs I don't mind that it exists. Doesn't feel quite right to collect it alongside the canon material like that tho…
Unfortunate though it may be, I'm hoping that Scotch is right and it's just a general price rise, not Shueisha trying to squeeze in stuff that doesn't fit.

208 is a whole lot on top of those chapters actually. More than what accounts for the front and endpages, so I guess we're either getting a super long Usopp Gallery or some other extra. It is definitely not enough for Shokugeki no Sanji tho, so it's gotta be something else.

170 pages for the chapters alone. Add 10 for an SBS by the title page for each chapter, with the first one being the table of contents. 3 pages of recap, as it's been for the last few, because we are technically still in Totland at the start, plus 1 blank one oppose the odd page there to make a spread. 2 more for the title page and the near-blank one of legal stuff after. 4 to 6 pages of Usopp Gallery at the end is pretty standard. That only comes to 192, plus a couple for ads and so on. Almost enough for a whole other chapter (but not enough for Sanji, cos it was extra long). I assume Scotch has his sources for it only having 10 chapters, so I'm trusting he's right about that.
So yeah, pages to burn in this one. Interested to see what we're getting.

Given the amount of things that happened in the recent chapters, and given it being the 90th volume which's like a HUGE milestone…might include a recap of One Piece's history / summary of the events that lead up to this point?

Interesting that they included the two Wano chapters as the ones to close the volume on, somehow I thought they would've wanted to close off with the end of the Reverie or at least with 909, but I guess they want to tease readers about Wano to buy the next volume. Kinda insane to think that the entirety of the Reverie took place over the course of just a single volume, with two chapters for both WCI and Wano sandwiched at the beginning and the end.

I really like the cover and it makes me incredbly happy to see Wapol on a volume cover after oh so long, but after looking at it longer it kinda has the downside of making you ask "Hm, why isn't Neptune/Miosgard/Sai/etc. not included?".

Absolutely unsubstantiated, (would love someone with better research skills to clarify) but I've seen posts saying that next week's Jump will have an extended section for the OP anime, the same way it's done in the past for movie announcements. If that is true, an announcement splash page and some production sketches (like the last few movies all got) would explain the huge number of extra pages at the end of the volume.
I wouldn't count on that being anywhere near true until one of our trusted info people gives confirmation though, it just fits in neatly alongside the info we have.

I'm pretty sure there's a character first introduced in every major saga except Thriller Bark and Totland here. It's a pretty great show of the series' history.

Oda decides to go simple the one time I wanted him to have as many characters in as possible (wanted to see Betty colors as well as have a proper look at Kaku's head to find out if he grew his hair or those are headphones), but the result was very good.
We get to see Leo's new pirate attire in colors and Bonney's new hat has the same colors as her old one, so I assume it is part of her post-ts design rather than of her "queen's disguise". It seems Oda really scrapped the black shaggy hat she was wearing in her previous appearances, then (and I'm glad for it). Weird to think that she was the only supernova who didn't got a design change after the timeskip with the exception of her hat changing shape, but I already liked her original design a lot so I like this (after Drake, sometimes changing is not the best).
My favorite part has to be Carue getting his own spot, though.

Lovely! Fun to see so many characters from different arcs. Luffy's photo marks his presence and also gives everyone who already read the arc the foreboding presence of Im without giving it away. Really well done.
Would have chosen different characters for the frames though, lol

This is the first time that Oda seems to have stayed in the box (for the most part) since the Davy Back Fights. It reflects the more minimalist look of Marijoa, and it also does a really good job of reflecting a lot of major moments of the Reverie: Luffy's new bounty, Luffy being the center of the conversation, Imu having Luffy's wanted poster on two occasions, The Five Elder's discussion about Cobra, etc.,
