Perospero taking a long time to shoot the Smokes was in the manga as well, and drew a fair bit of ire there as well. Though I haven't watched the previous episode yet so maybe this really was excessive.
Not one of the worst paced episodes I've seen, but it certainly could have been better. Katakuri running toward Bege, Jinbe, and Pedro 3? times and getting riddled with bullets twice was particularly egregious. The character art was also pretty bad throughout the whole thing.
I did like how more of the BMPs got in on the action since it was kind of strange how it felt like Katakuri and Daifuku were the only ones doing anything in the manga. Brook's faceoff with Oven was cool, but Oven's part felt rather noncommittal. And I wish Sanji could have beaten up the non-Daifuku guys.
But yeah, the last few minutes were definitely the best part. Awesome music and scenery. The next episode looks like it'll be great artwise and there's a lot of material to cover from just that chapter so I'm looking forward to it.
@pRopaaNS:
Lul, Sanji so weak that he kicked at full force and wasn't even able to break a table. Candy cracked just barely. And I thought that in manga he melted the candy through heat of his DJ. No wonder why he got the raid suit.
Perospero's candy is ridiculously tough to break with physical force.
! It took all 3 Vinsmoke bros, with their Raid Suits on, to break through it.
