I'm having a problem playing the file too. In WMP, it says it's playing, but it's all still frames…I can scroll through the whole movie but it doesn't move. In VLC player, the movie is split into 4 different screens. And I did download the latest player, no luck.

I'm able to watch it, with WMP, but out of sync and splitted in 3 screens.
Unfortunately I can't use VLC: when I try to use it my computer turns off and restarts by itself. -

Well, I discovered I can play the video fine in Nero….but no sound.
Maybe if I play the sound from VLC and run it together with nero...nah, won't work. XD -

I tried to play the movie with Power DVD and Real player. It works but I still don't know how to solve the video problem (Video splitted in three screens).
Does anyone know what codec we could use, please? -

VLC player has the abillity to display and play each layer of video/audio if in a certain format. Check and see if all the audio and video tracks are on.

I use Media Player Classic and everything's smooth in this neighbourhood.
Pretty fun film, but it didn't really blow me away. The animation looked great, especially in the beginning for some reason. I kinda disliked Luffy going Gear 2nd by accident, because I don't really think it makes any sense, but it looked cool at least.
Overall, good times were had here.

Mine worked fine… well, actually, I only watched the beginning part and the part where he goes Gear 2 accidentally. But either way, it worked. I wonder if it has to do with WMP 11.

I'm having the same problem as all of you… With VLC, the video is in black and white and splitted in four, Bsplayer is buggy as hell, mpclassic is kinda laggy, even virtual dub won't play the file... BUT! Zoom player seems to work fine
I still wasted the day playing with codec packs, extracting the audio, reencoding at random, getting various original error messages and trying to make it work fine -.- Stop wondering what's the problem and use zoom player
As for when we'll release it, I already answered that in the Air date topic of the ADC subforums

I had a major disappointment in this movie. I thought that the fight was all rushed at the end and that the overall storyline was more lacking then that of a normal filler episode. At least the anime style was nice, and the hidden canon plots were nice as well.

I was seeding last night, but I had to stop it because my computer was going crazy. Now I'm seeding again but I stop around 12 am… (Gt +2) and continue.... few hours later.

Is it me or did Nami get angry way too often? It seems like all she did was smack others around and yell her head off throughout the whole movie and I found it very annoying. Or maybe that's normal and watching an hour and a half of it just made it more noticeable.
But all in all, I really enjoyed it. I always have low expectations for the movies so I'm almost always satisfied with them.

Yeah, that's a movie/filler thing. They always make Nami way more bitchy and evil than she actually is, it's really annoying.

yeah the movie was very talkative, but I still kinda enjoyed it.

I've seen it on it on Youtube now, and this what I have to say.
It's pretty enjoyable; I like it a lot! It's either the speed on Youtube isn't right or you guys exaggerated a bit too much, but I didn't find Nami's breasts bounce around that much. And the bouncing sound effect was only heard twice early in the movie. Which part was it that you found so much bouncing?
I agree that the battles are a bit rushed. Sanji and Zoro's seem to rehashed fights from the series too. The final battle against Ratchet had so much potential, that it was cut short from a single Jet Bazooka.
I have a question to ask for those who saw the Chinese sub.
! What exactly does Ratchet plans to do with island turtle?

they only cared about showing fanservice: Boobies, Gear 2 (even though they had no idea what to do with it, he said Bazooka, not Jet bazooka) etcThis movie was made for the sole purpose of making money using the ideas of Oda in a blatantly money making fashion.
I can honestly say I didn't enjoy any part of this movie.. it did nothing for me, I honestly prefer OP anime fillers (including Apis) rather than this movies storyline.. Disagree with me if you like but meh, opinion is free speech. -
