Neat, I've been rewatching the series as Crunchyroll uploads chunks of episodes so I'm super down for some more Yu Yu hakusho. Even if it's just for another sexy gif of the spirit gun.

Hmm, maybe that's why Togashi has been taking so many hiatuses. So he can do a continuation and/or finally make a proper sendoff for YYH. You know, over the span of a short OVA.

Is that mean Togashi spends 10 years of HxH hiatuses in order to create OVA episode for YYH? Then, that's a relief since that means Togashi won't be taking anymore hiatus; he will be doing regular serialization for HxH on next year.

Oh good, I love the original anime as is, much better then the manga it's based off of. Still always up for new material. Heh will give the ol cast at Funimation to do a reuion, I would love to hear Justin Cook voice Yuskue.

So it sounds like it's based on stuff that was never adapted from the manga. I'm fine with that. Especially if it's an OVA with a decent budget.

It's just an OVA, people, don't get too excited.
Two Shots could be an interesting choice to animate, but since it is just an episode I don't think it will be it ('cause no Yusuke)… Always wanted those one shots at the end with Mukuro's birthday and the other with Yusuke's father to be animated, but whatever it is I just hope it is not that "bomber in heaven" mini arc (although seems like the most obvious pick).

I'd say the same….but there was two things,
a) I was already grown
b) It was the subbed that I liked, even if I had to read what was said, I really did not like voices or wording of the dubbed version.Oh good, I love the original anime as is, much better then the manga it's based off of. I'd have to disagree there as the anime made some unnecessary changes, esp. in the dubbed version. Also … the voices often made me cringe.
For example, at the beginning of series when Urameshi was dead and a ghost, Kuwabara was talking to his gang about his 6th sense and said when ghosts were around , he'd get this sensation. Sorry can't remember the exact wording but the official manga translation made sense, but the anime was off, the subbed wasn't too bad but I remember raising an eyebrow at the change..... but the English verison made me cringe with how childish it was, something like "The tinkle".
