Well, Pound has spent who knows how long buried in a hole in the woods. He probably didn't bathe after Cracker pulled him out. So he probably is pretty nasty.

@S.C.:
Interestingly, VIZ translates the scene with Pound as a slice rather then a thud
Eh, either way, a slice doesn't indicate a beheading for certain, nor does the thud indicate his body falling all at once or the head falling and thudding first.

I just figure weirdo was enough or maybe goody looking instead the word gross seems a little too "said by vain people" to me. Just saying. Its not a big deal but yeah, dude was literally in the dirt and sweating from stress, thats not hygenic.

But whose shadow would he have used to reanimate him? THAT is the big question.
Also, just a thought, they can use a normal-sized person's shadow to reanimate a giant (even an uber-giant like Oars), but what happens if they try to use a giant's shadow to reanimate a normal-size person's corpse (or other inanimate object)? Or has Moria ever even removed the shadow of anyone even remotely as big as himself or bigger?
