@Monkey:
Congratulations at having the situation read completely ass backwards.
For an encore do another round of throwing "warhawks" at the side that isn't the one literally massing an army around the borders and maritime waters of another country.

Wait till someone tells this guy that Russia has had military assets literally in Ukrainian borders since 2014 lol.
Oh Zephos long time no see? How you've been?
I now full well the whole deal with Putin flexing soft and hard power creating puppet proxy states in the interests of "defending a russian plurality/minority" in those regions. It's been almost 20 years of that. He's no saint.
I just can't muster support for the Ukranian gov't since - well since the Maidan - put a bunch of alt right with a tendency for white supremacy lunatics such as Far Sector and Azov Battalion in positions of power, and how had been a constant thing in manifestations pro-Bolsonaro the wish to "Ukranizate" Brasil.
Does US and by extension NATO need to have bases surrounding what they consider to be their strategic antagonist - Russia and China? Don't that serve for a escalation of tension. I mean who can really oppose the American Militar complex in a conventional war? Sure you can beat them using attricion-guerrilla warfare but that usually ends with the county the conflict takes place in rags.
Besides the whole Donbass Conflict, what bringing Ukraine to NATO solves for NATO or Ukraine? More than half the world already doesn't recognize the sovereignty of Putin's proxy nations. Is it worthy to pick up a fight just so Ukraine can have control of Crimea and the two proxy republics?
Didn't we manage to defuse Turkey having NATO Saturn misiles with the counter move of the cuban misiles, and those where nuclear ones in the peak of the Cold War. Why this time is so hard, just because the US can smell russian weakness and see through Putin's bravado? Are NATO leaders that willingly to escalate a conflict over the pretense of territorial sovereignty - when in fact they want Ukraine to become part of NATO and UE.
I also - probably won't have time for a proper rebut because I'll finally start working this week - so no need to quote my replay just post your rebut and if I have time before the conflict erupts or goes cold I replay.
