Well, that was an unexpected development in on at the end. Is that guy also an executive?

Gatou is growing on me too.
As far as that guys real identity is concerned. I'm still leaning towards him being another executive. Though I wouldn't rule out the possibility of him being Green Ranger. But why didn't Hisui recognize him as her superior then?
Another idea is that both is true. Him being GR and an exec. I mean if D infiltrated the Rangers pretending to be one of them, why shouldn't an executive be able to do the same?

Not shocking, let's see how the author gets around hisui not seeming to recognize him and whatnot. Also, in-universe, it'd make sense that Green has seen through the ranger act too.
Interesting hint at worldbuilding also, in-universe there are dimensions, they intersect, etc. and we have another mention of the weirdness of divine tools in an otherwise more or less normal modern human society.

Haha! No idea why I'm laughing but great chapter. Wonder why Hisui didn't know Chidori was Green Keeper.
What I'm more interestes in though, is what Chidori meant a few chapters back when he asked Magatia to come back. Was he talking about getting an executive back for the weekly show battle or actually something else?

Divine tools seem to have created a turning point in the war against the invaders, but they're very likely not something the human society of this story would be able to create themselves. Stolen or leaked technology ? In which case, did some of the executives willingly help create the rangers ? At least that would explain how Magatia and Chidori have had prior contact

My gut feeling is that the dragon executive betrayed the others. Maybe a bit on-the-nose, but them being called dragon keepers when there's a dragon in the zodiac feels like there's gotta be a connection.
Unless dragon was the first one they killed and that's where they got the name from.

I'm fuzzy on the details... When everything's said and done, who is currently aware that Sakurama is really footsoldier D ? I finished the highschool arc under the impression that Chidori found out, and possibly Hisui, but seeing how they act all normal, maybe not ? Gatou for sure, but he seems intent on keeping that secret to himself.

Each chapter leaves me wanting more.
So Yellow's next? I'm so used to team-type shows where the 'boring' members never get developement that I felt called out this chapter. I love that they're playing with those exact expectations. "Yellow's done nothing, he's got no presence, but we'll probably get to him eventuall- no sucker we're getting him now and he might actually be a badass".
Oh, and the "red guy will look for the double agent" plot doesn't take a bazillion chapters to get going and we already get returning characters, AND we get new juicy info each chapter while still having time for character bonding.
Gimme an english translation and I'll put this entire series on my shelf.

That was a nice chapter. Honrstly didn't expect we'd have such a character heavy chapter with lots of interactions and lightheartedness between the characters but here we are and I love it.

Kinda feels like these series that take a 180° when suddenly learning that they will end in a couple chapters

Yep, that seems to be Sakurama from how the story's framing it. But the face and arm thing is new unless I remember something wrongly. Also I have to admit that I don't remember Ouroboros talk prior to this chapter at all. Has that group been brought up before or is this the first time?What's more the ghost hunter couple threw me off. Not because there couldn't be guys like this under these circumstances but because there actually suddenly was an actual monster. Seemed like this is out of a completely different manga. And then the "final boss" talk didn't help thing either to have at least some sort of familiar plot thread going on. I'm really lost this time around.

@Ivotas Ouroboros, if memory serves right, may have been the name of the charity Gatou was operating under ? Possibly Magatia's idea and a facade to gather individuals no-one would miss after their disappearance. Interestingly, the name refers to a mythological snake that bites its own tail.
And thanks for confirming Sakurama, that he cut off his arm had completely slipped my mind.

@Ivotas It has. I was sure I'd seen it somewhere so I checked back : in chapter 57 when they start investigating, Chidori mentions Ouroboros. It is indeed the front for Gatou and Magatia's device, a charity that welcomes delinquent school drop-outs and has installed themselves in the derelict school. Sakurama & co first visit the place on a Sunday and because of that it seems the schoolday loop isn't in effect.
The part I'm fuzzy about is, how come Nishiki is aware of the schooldays events considering just setting foot inside the building is apparently enough to trap you inside the illusion. Did he somehow enter then break out previously? Unless people are captured only if Magatia wishes it so and by tipping the rangers he earned himself a place at school ?

I wonder if that Karaoke person is an executive in disguise. I'm guessing Death Messiah is gonna be the big bad who forces people to team up and become friends. Interesting that the rangers stopped him from being resurrected, as opposed to being a pre-existing creature they defeated. Unless they mean resurrection more in the sense of summoning.
To cite Kanon, Red's a bloody lunatic. Really looking forward to learning more about him. And poor Aizome...
I'm curious how many of the Dragon Keepers are the originals. Red's gotta be, Yellow and Green strike me as the same. Blue we know was the successor, and Pink... I got the impression somewhere she's not the first Pink, but I might be mistaken. -
D's gonna be forced to make a decision soon. Wonder how this'll go.
