Honestly I think the discussion would be as much interesting without the spoiler thread. If anything everyone would discuss of the chapter at the same time. It is quite a shame that people like Captain M who are faithful to the official release get only the short stick of the discussion

I switched off spoilers when the official release started hitting the same day, and I'd hoped when it went free the forum would follow suit, but nope.

After about three years I got tied of always missing the conversation and went back to the spoilers. It is NOT my preference by any means but its where the discussion is all week.

Definitely avoiding this week though. Even deleted my twitter bookmark since that ruined me last week and I really wish I'd seen last chapter as it was meant to be.

You're mistaking causation and correlation.

Spoiler threads aren't longer because they're more interesting… People don't discuss the final thread as much because they'd already been discussing the partial chapter all week.

If there was no spoiler thread at all the regular chapter threads would be way bigger.

I was still on Mangahelpers and even had a thread for coping with spoiler evasion, quite popular too. Until that imbecile mod Kaiten closed it for no reason. The pussy is actually the reason why I left after constant post editing and deletion so I guess I should be thankful after all.

Yeah, he was one of the worse mod I ever saw on a forum. Mangahelpers seems to have get rid of him which is only the best it could happen for them.

Only when it's deserved. You have a global mod that suddenly starts considering themselves a highest authority on OP, falsely, who uses their power as tools of oppression against anyone who disagrees with them. He'd use any excuse, any silly thing, to redact and delete posts and give infraction points and bans. I was a lot more argumentative at that time, being 10 years younger, but it was still nothing big. Then he ended up banning me for 3 months and when I wrote an appeal, he was the one who decided on it, lol. That, and the fact some of the newer mods were getting pretty pricklish (one girl used something I wrote in PM as a tool for argument in chapter thread, lol (nothing lewd)). Anyway, it's been ages since I remembered the guy, but whenever I do my mouth starts twisting on its own.

The French One Piece forum I was on before it crashed was cool though. But we were like a few dozen members, haha. Our ship was wrecked and none was to find each other ever again :ninja:
