Sorry I´m a bit late in this discussion, but I just dropped by. Since you mention the character names faq I´ve done, you can use it for the site if it helps you. I have no problems with it. Just know that many of the names there aren´t 100% coherent romanized namings. It´s what I personally consider to be correct after, talkbacks and considerations. Just wanted to point that out.

I asked RoboBlue about the colorspreads thing before; he agreed it'd be great content but nobody has a clue how to find them. I guess the first thing we'd want is a checklist… from there, it's start your (search) engines.

Well the One Piece Logs will have the spreads in color won´t they? I think this might be a way to get the hands on even the very early color spreads.

And now for a little input. I have some info and a suggestion about the bounties of Luffy and Zoro. I think this is how it should be done:

Luffy

bounty: 0 Berry (chapter 1 - chapter 95), 30.000.000 Berry (chapter 96 - 212), 100.000.000 Berry (since chapter 213)

Zoro

bounty: 0 Berry (chapter 3 - chapter 212), 60.000.000 Berry (since chapter 213)

Robin

bounty: 0 Berry (chapter 114 - chapter 200), 79.000.000 Berry (since chapter 201)

With Robins bounty we have a little problem though. It depends on what style you want to explain the bounties. If you want to list the first appearances of the bounties then what I wrote is coherent. But if you want to have it that way that the discription should show since when the characters have the bounties in their world then what I wrote is correct, because Nico Robin had that bounty eversince she was 8 years old, meaning that with the chapter of the first introduction the bounty should be included.

I´m undicided on which style to use. My style showcases the chronologic order in the manga, but if a One Piece newbie wants to check on such stuff then he/she wouldn´t see that Robin had that bounty on her head for almost her entire life. Personally I´m not sure myself on what would be the correct style here. I pointed that problem out though in case you or anyone else might have a good solution.

And the second problem I have with Robin´s bounty is that in chapter 175 Smoker said that she had a bounty about over 70 million berries. That already is an indication on that she has a bounty and in what league it is, however it is nothing coherent so I didn´t know how to include that in the list. Another thing that I wanted to point out.

Hope that helps at least a little instead of confusing you. BTW, Luffy´s and Zoro´s bounty information is coherent. And personally I like it better if it would be in the "since chapter…" style instead of "chapter...- current" one. Just a thought.

I´ve got another suggestion if that is ok. I´ve just checked a bit of the site (which I until now find very promising) and I thought that the bounty section should rather then in alphabetic order, be in order of the hight of the bounties. To quite my professor "it is more sexy" that way IMO.

Other than that I think an Easter Egg secion would be nice. In that section there could be a little info on what Easter Eggs are actually and then followed by links to Manga and Anime Easter Eggs. I know it maybe appear like an shameless plug but the info from this thread could actually be something that could be featured in such a section. It´s useless information actually but it´s still info somehow and maybe someone other then myself might consider that interesting. Just a thought though.

Edit: Almost forgot. I think that links to Gerusama´s and to Stephen´s sites should be included. Of course just if they have nothing against it.

This is on the way. most info pages are either skeletons (a-la manga/volumes guide) that are waiting for content to be added. Some pages, like the attack page, had in depth content sitting around that has been integrated, and now the task is to go over that and edit it and also to create similar content for everything else. English names are definitely on the way.

Thanks. There needs to be a large discussion to develop a set of "official" name translations. There are quite a few things that were romanized oddly, even by Oda himself.

Suggestions are more than ok, they're encouraged! (I'm sad that you no longer find the site promising, though). I don't like the alpha order, either, but I can't decide between the order of Manga appearance and the order of bounty value. I quite like keeping things in Manga order where it isn't too disruptive.

Well such discussion are a delicate matter and you sure have to watch that they donÂ´t get out of hand. I myself get carried away sometimes when I want "prove" how a name should be spelled. It really is a delicate matter. Hope that youÂ´ll be able to handle it.

Well I also prefer the way how bounties are listed in the character pages. The bounty page itself really shouldnÂ´t include that much details about the bounty as it is in the character page.
The bounty page should IMO, be in an order of hight aka a ranking list of the known bounties. And if a character (like Luffy) has two bounties then his current one should be featured in it (again, like in a ranking list).

Glad you liked that info. And I agree it doesnÂ´t change her correct amount actually. The question is still, will you list the bounty in her character page from the moment of its appearance or since the moment of her first appearance since she carried that bounty since she was a little kid. Well now that this is cleared up we can return to the suggestions. Well as I said it above I prefer an order of bounty value simply because it has the ranking list character. An order of appearance in the manga isnÂ´t bad but by my book, it isnÂ´t that much required for a bounty list.

Havin it as a ranking list always gives you "these are the top five" feeling to it. You can immediately see of which guys we know the World Government was pretty affraid off. This little feeling you only get with an order of value, not with an order of appearance. And I think that it suits a bounty list very well. Just another personal preference.

I like that! A guide to historical references or possible inspirations for Oda would be very cool. There was lost of interesting stuff that IÂ´ve learning here on the forums on that matter and I think it should be featured on the site. It really would be an interesting read.

I also noticed (while not considered binding as canon), on the cover page for 77 I think, it says "wanted: Roronoa Zoro, B1 000 000" on the newspaper headline.

It somewhat surprises me that Zoro didn't get a bounty first in the abstract, because didn't he cut down a lot of Marines and Captain Morgan… and also they'd know his name.

As you said this isnÂ´t cannon since it is just a title page thing on a cover where he (Zoro) was drinking with roosters. If the bounty should matter then actually the roosters should matter too and so far I donÂ´t interpret the One Piece World a place where people drink together with roosters in a bar.

And about the Morgan point, he didnÂ´t cut down Marines, he just did it to Morgan. Luffy took the other Marines down. So by that logic both of them should have gotten a bounty. But the reason why they didnÂ´t get one is the reason why the Marines let them go at the end of this arc and thatÂ´s that they freed them from MorganÂ´s dictatorship.

The site is free to all to browse, with the exception of a few administrative pages that don't have any one piece related content. If you make a login, you can change some things about the way you browse the site, but not much else; but if you want to be able to edit, you'll need a login.

After you have one, its up to the site admins to make you an editor or not.

As for the bounty list, it looks good to me.
