as much as I love Marvel comics and movies, the video games have been kinda hit or miss, we'll have to wait see what this one is

An Avatar game? Can't they just come out with the second movie already

Been thinking about getting a Switch this year and there are rumours that Nintendo will anounce a SwitchPro, so I'm waiting for their conference!

Well… most of the rest of E3 was pretty bad.

But it's Nintendo day today and there's a leak already!

I'm expecting BoTW with a 2022 release date, at least one new game announcement, ports of the Wii U remakes of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time on the newly announced N64 app, two Smash character announcements, maybe some Metroid Prime 4 footage and a Metroid Prime Trilogy port, maybe Pikmin 4 news with a Pikmin 3 port and Pikmin 1 and 2 HD remakes?

Nintendo already said the conference will only have software, no hardware.

I do think the Switch Pro will come eventually but probably not at E3 this year.

Nintendo's spot is the main one I have eyes on mainly being a Switch user.

I will also keep an eye on Squares release of ff1-6 via steam depending on price though the early indications may result in me giving it a miss

I really hope this E3 is an outlier, because of the pandemic . The feeling of those huge crowds there - asking it feel like you're part of this great event - is missing very much imo and similarly they seemed to step on the breaks when it comes to the presentations. The best moments to me are always when a huge trailer drops, where the hype builds until the game's title is revealed. This year there were so many times I just groaned, because they just went "Let's take a look at x" before even showing something.

They have? I missed that, was swept in the hype.
But they always very upfront about those things so I guess that's that.

I'll still catch the Direct and be on the lookout for some deals on the Switch later this year.
