Most anticipated event

After reading through the most electrifying moment in one piece thread, i was curious what others actually anticipated the most in the coming future of the manga.

*(Sorry if this is the wrong forum or if there was a topic on this before, i attempted the search feature i swear).

I think right now, for me at least, it boils down to two main things.

I really want to know what the bounties of the straw hats will be after the enies lobby situation is complete, and also if all of them will get bounties.

On the other hand I really really want to see a reunion between Luffy and Shanks, as well as seeing how Usopp meeting his dad (he never met him right? been awhile since i read the kuro arc) will go down.

Zephos already mentioned almost everything that I wanted to mention. The only thing that I have to add is maybe the thing that I anticipate the most…a mindblowing ending.

Don´t get me wrong, I don´t want to end it anytime soon. I want One Piece to continue for years to come. But I also want that it comes to an end when everything has been told. I don´t want for it to suffer the fate so many stories be it movies series, animated or life action be that stay with us long after their time has come and ruin everything that has been awesome so far.

I want One Piece to end when the time has come and when it happens I want it to be good. That is what I anticipate the most. Everything else is only secondary to me if the end sucks because something is only comeplete when it is finished. I hope that made somehow sense to you guys. :molly:

The bounty thing doesn't excite me much. It's a number, likely an inaccurate number (they're pretty bad at picking them. Don Krieg was NOT worth B17 million, and Croc wasn't worth 81 (pre-shickabuchai)

And finally Luffy is obviously worth way more than 30mil and it took Croc the GOD PIRATE's defeat to show them that. Or atleast it's the East Blue noobs who get it wrong and not the rest. Nah, he has to be in the presents of his puppets. He could only control them if he's there 24/7…and still only their mussles. So they would definately fire him and raise his bounty conciderably, possibly to my number.

Well let's not be certain of that.

So far every DF we've seen has had a hidden dimension of power to it's immediate apparent use. Even all the Zoans had ways they were used that made them more powerful than they first appear (Who'd think a moal could pound that much ass? Seriously?) and of course Blueno's "Revolving Door" for a more recent example.

Even the Gum Gum power has evolved over the time we've seen it from Luffy having an extra-stretchy but overall solid body to his almost being totally made of rubber.

So Doflamingo's power probably has some kind of secret hidden property we're not privy too yet

It is very possible that when he was putting on his little swordfight show for himself apon introduction into the story, he was letting them be aware of what he was making them do just to make it more fun. Tell me, how was Sarsquis acting when he killed Bellamy?

I was coming back from the Nottingham Forest match and I was bursting for a crap. I was having trouble keeping it in. It was touching cloth 90% of the time!

I think opposite is not the right term. I think counterpart works better. You see Blackbeard is Luffy´s perfect counterpart because he also has the same devotion towards dreams and goals in life in Luffy. They are actually the in terms of attitude but they seem to have a different moralic view, since Teach destroys and plunders and Luffy actually helps people who need it. Therefore they are perfect counterparts.

Same goes for Usopp and Van Auger. They have the same skill, but different morals. And if they get further developed I think Lafitte, Burgess and Doc Q will be good antagonists for Zoro, Sanji and Chopper.

But since Blackbeard is their captain and they follow his ideals they already appear to be good antagonists for the Strawhats because the Strawhats follow Luffy´s way.

Giant Sniper gun Marksman with impecable aim that even Ussop can't comprehend=Ussop Marksman with impecable aim and can make a mere sling-shot into a deadly weapon.

Blackbeard's doctor who has a horse and thus relation with animals, plus he uses applebombs=Chopper, who is Luffy's doctor who is a reindeer and thus has relations with animals, plus he uses his Rumble Ball.

Blackbeard is the captain with a big appatite(nothing is known about his fighting), Luffy is the captain with a big appatite partially thanks to his rubbery stomach.

Also, that wrestler freak attacks random people and conciders himself unbeatable. When in reality, since he's only picking on weeklings, he's even more of a pathetic weekling for not having the balls to find a real challenge, while Zolo,on the other hand, only fights when he needs to, trains whenever he can, and would wrather not fight weeklings. He has only been defeated by 2 people in his whole life: his dead rival and the almighty Mihawk. This part is more of a guess, though. Ivotas did a better comparrasion than me, though.

I've always felt Gaimon was to fillerish. But he's in the manga. How odd. Well, he's probably so 'fillerish' because his episode had many Pokemon ellements. It just seemed so bleh. But atleast he was funny character with a good, sad past.

I don't think he was joking about Gaimon, he drew a lot of versions of him (seen in Color Walk 1), he made him appear in a side story and if I'm not mistaken, he appears in all videogames, I think Oda forces the videogames' makers to put him into the game since he wasn't so important to appear naturally…

Jesus Burgess does not attack random people. He stands on top of a tower in the middle of a riff raff filled city and bellows out a challenge to anyone around for miles.

No. The Jaya arc in the Anime was really accurate to the Manga. About the only filler was half the search for the South Bird. It was just my semi-bad memory.

Laffitte looks like he might be sanji's counterpart, he does the whole tap dancing thing when he was recommending blackbeard and doc q might be zoros, in the sub they give him the title "grim reaper" and i bet hes carrying some sword like thing in that bag he has behind him.

I think it fair game to assume that if the captain is an ideal match against the other captain, the sniper against the other sniper, then I think it is most likely that the doctors take it out between them, meaning Chopper against Doc Q.

Burgess looks like a wrestler, which means martial arts fighter so his ideal counterpart would Sanji who always takes on martial artists.

Lafitte could be reserved for Zoro. I see him as the classic "sword in the staff" character, besides he somehow seems to be a kind of first mate which would also be the counterpart of Zoro. Well just my two cents.
