I don't. It's just some person writing their opinions. If you (generally speaking) can't handle it, maybe the problem is you as well and not just the person who has negative opinions on the story and discussion you enjoy.

Its so weird seeing Kaidou express compassion towards Jack.
I honestly never expected him to do or say such things about a subordinate that just got beat.
It really distinguishes him from Linlin who could not have cared less if her own children were beaten or dead.
Seeing Zoro and Drake work together was pretty dope. But damn, I genuinely detest that Apoo's weakness is simply cover your ears. A pirate of the worst generation could not have made it that far with such a poor and obvious weakness to his fighting ability.
I was also excited to hear Sanji express interest in going up to Kaidou. Usually Zoro is the only one who would say stuff like that while Sanji was wondering around doing covert things.
I am a little bit disappointed that Ulti has been relegated to being an Ussop/Nami opponent. I genuinely thought Oda would treat her as a true and effective threat to the alliance.
LASTLY, What is Law DOING?? Luffy and the rest of them would already be up there with Room.

Kind reminder that Darth got banned (although mostly for being pro-fascist, maybe? Can't remember well). Second reminder that he tried to come back at least twice. The first time, mods tried to let him do his thing and see if he learned something. He didn't and was banned again. He was a bit like JoyBoy (but much worse) in the sense that he invoked a lot of responses and then managed to answer to every single one of them all the time. To the point where something like 1/3rd of a thread was made up only of his posts. Not to mention his somewhat arrogant (imo) way of talking. This place became toxic with him around. People complain about JoyBoy, but he's way more chill than that guy ever was. On the other hand, I think Joy Boy's posts are much poorer in terms of content than Darth's. Another thing they have in common is how fixated they are on a subject. Darth was all about Fujitora being sidelined during Dressrosa, while JoyBoy is all about "yonko weak pussies". Again, it's totally fine for them to espouse these opinions, but their insistence on the same topics every week plus the language and tone they use in their posts start to turn this forum upside down and push people away. That is not fine.

Sure, but water only makes Crocodile hittable.
It does not render his entire fruit useless.
Apoo on the other hand, becomes entirely useless once his opponent blocks out sound.
He becomes especially useless when you consider that abilities look Observation haki exist and his opponents can use that to overcome any defect to covering their ears.

I know Oda addressed the lack of good combat pragmatism in a SBS, but Apoo is just underhanded enough to appreciate the usefulness of a good nut shot, when he can get it.

No one is sure. It was supposed to not have a break, but the release date for 992 has changed to next week in Shueisha’s site, and two weeks in Viz’s. Everyone is guessing.
Hasn't changed with Shueisha.
Viz has 10/11 on their site (meaning 992 next week).
Mangaplus as 10/16 on their site (meaning 992 in 2 weeks).There is a contradiction between all 3.
My guess is Oda got sick last minute and needed a week off. This happened back in February, when chapter 973 or 972 I believe was supposed to release on March 1st, but Jump left a message in the magazine explaining Oda getting sick. Possibly the same thing here.

A lot of DFs have pretty obvious and accesible weaknesses, but like Apoo said in this chapter even if you know the secret it isn't always so easy to make practical use of it. That and he probably has ways to work around it by applying it indirectly or something like that. Is usually what happens when someone thinks they have neutralized someones greatest weapon in a shounen story, then comes the counter to the counter.

I'm not a fan of this weakness of Apoo's devil fruit, but it's mildly convincing, so if it renders his ability "useless", then so be it.
That said, I don't agree that Apoo becomes ineffective. I believe he's a good fighter with his long-arm kung fu style, so he might use that to find an opening to uncover his opponents' ears (and if they need to use their hands to cover their ears, that's a weakness in itself).
Since Oda revealed Apoo's weakness so early on, then there's probably some depth to it in order to make his fight interesting.

Would have been nice to see a special attack atleast from Jack in his mammoth form. A mammoth cannonball earthquake attack, high pressure water trunk attack, deafening mammoth screech, mammoth charge…anything.

I liked Darth. He was the Count Mario of the dark side. While he criticized a lot but made sure to made his point clear and while he felt that way. With plenty people being dick to him and belittling him on the premise his opinions were wrong.
I also miss when Urouge was giving his 2 cents.

Soo many things could have been resolved by his abilities, but Oda wrote himself into a corner and had to make Law conveniently absent for most of it so far.
For example, Law could have easily saved Momo from his apparent Execution.
Law could have teleported each of the Beast Pirate threats, like the calamaties, to locations where they could have been dealt with easily.
Law could have teleported all the beast pirates on the roof and replaced them with alliance members.
Law could have teleported Luffy and company to the roof, making King's weird move of "protecting the skies" entirely useless.
Law could have teleported Big Mom and Kaidou straight into the fucking Sea.
But nope, the guy who initiated the plan to take down Kaidou, has become conveniently absent when the time finally came.

But the complainers are equal part of the problem. Without extra attention given to them, neither Darth nor Joy Boy would be that engaged in the discussion. It's just an endless cycle. Honestly, when I hear people were driven to put a user here on ignore, I can't help but scoff.

What I find interesting is that both Zoro and Sanji said they want to go up there with Luffy to kaidou. Is oda really going for full SHs crew vs kaidou, oars style? Since ancient giants theme is back with the numbers and kaidou himself seems like one, and oars was too.
Also the fact that all 9 scabbards team up on kaidou now, shows that he is a team up battle. 10 SHs vs kaidou
That would leave kidd pirates vs king, law pirates vs queen, with some x drake and marco thrown in there.

Plus Dressrosa was a little messy. Can't blame anyone for being disappointed with it's climax.

It's been heavely implied that Law's powers can be stopped by Haki, so he can't just move everybody around as he so wishes. Otherwise, as I said, better make him PK.
From your description, it's not that he's too useful for this raid so that it becomes a writing inconvenience, but he's too overpowered for the manga itself.

Monkey King/Zephos was and is something else. I've been participating in forums for like 15 years pretty regularly, and there's only like… 1 other user I can recall being on the same level as him from an oooooold forum. Did Zephos go too far, oh absolutely, but that was his mode of operation and he could absolutely back up everything he dished out. He could still post in the manga section, no one cares that he was wrong about the famine thing except 1 or 2 people I guess. Darth was a mere shadow of Zephos at his prime. Criticism to fit in is a lame, trite, and basic way to get street cred on forums.

Zephos came first, not Darth. Zephos' main goal wasn't to troll, just to purge stupidity at every opportunity. Darth was maybe a troll, I don't really care. Zephos was a very aggressive but very intelligent poster. There were a few around his INT level that didn't post much but were still pretty scary to deal with, like Bucephalus. I got the vibe he was ridiculously well-read. I know I'm nerdy, this stuff is just fun for me.I really hate that we might have a pretty long break, 992 should by all rights be nuts and what I've been waiting for. I hope Oda's not going to delay to 1000 to do what needs to be done. But 1000 could possibly be another real Bad End Musical if Oda wants to go humble on it instead of Imu/Uranus grandiose.

You could say he was a fan of authoritarian militaristic regimes yeah.
He had valid criticism, but I can't understand people who say they liked him. Daz is constantly criticizing OP whenever he posts, but he doesn't fill entire threads with negativity. He doesn't provoke others. He's not obsessed with a single topic or theme. Many people post negative comments about the series all the time, especially back during Punk Hazard/Dressrosa! It's the kind of borderline trolling behavior that made Darth and makes Joy Boy so detestable for many posters. The laguange, the persistence, the tone, the constant provocations to people who reply to them. But those answering these guys in kind just make it worse. It's the fact that so many people answer them aggressively that stokes them to keep posting again and again.
