Thanks for the link. But it turns out that I'm too stupid to actually where to read the chapter. I just see the Monster 8 cover but not the actually chapter. How do I access it?
Thanks for this link too but unfortunally it says its locked in my region. :(

To me those links give me direct access to the latest chapter so sadly it seems i can't help resolve your issue.

I see. Unfortunally not the case for me. Can't see the chapter anywhere. I guess from now I won't be able to keep up with my favorite jump series anymore. :(
-
Guess who's back? Back again. #9 is back, He's an ant.
-
Shinomiya keeps cool with that huge axe:
https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1009739Never good to see #9.
-
Oh, Shit.
https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1009740"Valkyrie" is a good name for Shinomiya, though.
-
Kafka needs his friends to scold him to overcome his trauma i suppose. But even if he recovers the situation seems difficult
Maybe if they defeat the initial monster, it defeats them all -
I wasn't expecting thins kind of backstory
-
Kikoru becomes an even better character:
https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1009890And not to take away any of her spotlight, but can Kafka transform now?
-
And not to take away any of her spotlight, but can Kafka transform now?
Can he ? Unless I missed something in the previous chapter, we didn't see #9 do anything that would explain his inability to transform. The Defense Force assumes that it happened, but I'm half-expecting the reason to be something between Kafka and himself, in the lines of "after battling daddy last time I am subconsciously afraid to lose control and wound my teammates". Cue prolonged block until someone in the team (likely Kikoru) is on the verge of dying and the Power of Friendship removes his limiter.
-
No no, I'm just nagging at the author to let Kafka figure out what's wrong already.
-
Ooh, my bad, I misread that
Couldn't agree more with you, then. -
Overcome fear, become monster

I really thought things went south there. Well played.^^

This was spot on!
-
I'm glad they didn't drag out the "I can't transform!" thing too long.
-
This is just begging for an anime series.

/signed. Nothing Monster 8 does is new, but all of it is done so… well. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series.
-
As we all know, a virus is a dangerous thing indeed:
https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1010084! And using monster parts for a suit/weapon is one thing, but is it really a smart idea to fuse it into your body? I feel Gen is going to have to face turning into a monster later.
-
Come on, no eye powers.
-
Monster sharingan in full swing. Though to be fair it seems to only enable him to see cores, at least so far.
-
It was all a distraction.
-
We've been bamboozled
-
What the actual f…? Give me the next chapter now please! Gimme, gimme, gimme!
Honestly good chapter overall. Natumi's badass and Kikoru's reaction was heartwarming. But that cliffhanger totally steals the show for me. Very good stuff.
-
Fights with Numbered monsters never end that easily.
-
i wonder how and by who Monster 1 was killed
-
Since it's Number 1, I'm guessing it's likely the first monster that ever appeared?
-
Don't mess with Daddy.
https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1010565And I am reminded every chapter how much I love Kafka's monster design, even if it's only one panel.
-
Daddy flashback
https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1010566 -
I have a feeling we'll still need Kafka to finish this.
-
I hope we do. While I enjoy this manga about daddy Shinomiya and family, it's still nice whenever side character Mosnter 8 does a cameo. :ninja:
-
Haha tbe Defense Force has marketable plushes.
-
! Why do I get the feeling No. 9 hijacked Isao's body?
-
! Why do I get the feeling No. 9 hijacked Isao's body?
! Cause that is the goal of No. 9 mission of why he showed up on the battle field. I also believe No. 9 will be Kafkas main adversary, so he needs to succeed. No. 9 could also loose but I think thats rather unlikely.

! I thought No. 9 wants to retrieve the gauntlets Isao uses, that's what Kaiju No. 2 is nowadays, right? It's not fused with Isao or part of his suit. Because I don't see the point of taking over Isao's body when No. 9 just stated that Kaiju bodies are better than human ones

! Didn't No. 9 kill someone to change into a new person/body type so, I assumed the outcome will be he will overtake Isao's body cause I cannot imagine him giving up No. 2 weapons without dying.
-
Man, #2 must've been one hell of a monster when it was still alive.
-
yeah, I have a bad feeling about that. The guy who was next to him must have seen what happened
-
That was one amazing chapter. Don't want Isao to bite the dust but IMO it's most likely he's either getting the Whitebeard treatment or his body has been taken over by #9.
-
! Our hunch was right, R.I.P. Isao
! Also, obligatory this isn't even my final form -
Yeah, we saw that coming.
I really do love the monster fights in this. Design, fights, everything about the monsters is great. Except, y'know, all the evil ones except Kafka.
-
We saw it coming, but I'm genuinely sad the old man didn't get the Whitebeard treatment instead.
It was kinda inevitable, though. #9 is the only opposing force that has had any form of build up, so it makes sense to keep him around. The other monsters so far are all come-get destroyed random encounters, after all.Except, y'know, all the evil ones except Kafka.
Do you mean this in the sense that Kafka is the bland one ? To this I do subscribe ; I'd have to re-read, but his arsenal feels rather limited - the one time I found him memorable was when he was fighting Isao in his full-monster form
-
This #9 guys is getting on my nerves.
-
A gripping antagonist is what is sorely missing in this series. Number 9 is not cutting it for me.

That was mis-said. What I mean is everything about the monsters is great, except the fact that they're evil. As opposed to Kafka, who has all the monster coolness and is also a nice guy. And I'm sure we'll see more of his arsenal as the series goes, no point in revealing all of it at once. The stronger the opponents he has to face, the more powers he'll have to discover/create.

He gets on your nerves and you want to see his ass get kicked, which is a good thing. But given that there are several numbered monsters we have yet to see, I'm sure there will be cooler ones. #9 seems like he's being set up as Kafka's rival.
-
There are villains that you want to see go down because they are good at their role and others because you just find that they bring down the story and that hopefully their defeat will move things along. Number 9 is the latter for me. Sadly he is there for the long haul and that is a shame.
