I want Caesar and Caribou to join together and form an evil combo that is quickly squashed and sent to Impel Down.
Lol, that's a nice idea.

Lol, that's a nice idea.
I prefer that Caribou, Orochi, Foxy and Caesar join the future Pirate King, Buggy. Doubt they cross paths any time soon tho. It would be just fan service for me anyway.
Damn, poor Buggy, he had such potential to become someone great, but instead he became what he is… so sad.
I'm a mod now? lmfao
i'm coming for your asses shift and wolfwood
!
How can people be so serious about stuff like that, I just don't get it.

Never underestimate the vehement passion of fans and fandoms. Why, if I had a nickle where I got into a heated argument with people over which role is Bruce Campbell's best is, I'd have enough for tapas several times over (It's Brisco County Jr, BTW).
It's gotta be ninja Tama, soon ready to become the obvious but unexpected new crew member!
Oooh. Okay I give you Tama if you give me Carrot and Kuzan :ninja:. Honestly, I am slowly warming up to Tama more and more!
That aside I was quite surprised with Pirate Warriors 4 how much Carrot was being pushed with the Straw Hats there. Not that I think it was any indication of her joining the crew just something I noticed and then I was like this fits perfect!
Now coming back to the discussion. I think Kuzan actually could join as a last member. Especially with the lack of a Logia within the crew and Kuzan would work by the end of the story anyway.
the most major thing that keeps me from kuzan 4 nakama is actually his hair lol
we have three curly black hairs already with Usopp, Jinbei and Brook, with one more theyre slowly becoming the majority in the crew, maybe they will mutiny and the strawhats will become the curly hairs :ninja:
he is basically a human skinned brook, tall, lanky, "womanzier", ice powers… and the hair.
Hahaha. Yeah I get what you mean. I don't know Kuzan would work pretty well I think with his own agenda and such. I do wonder when he pops up again though. If we get the 13 crew members in total I wouldn't be suprised it is:
Jinbe, Carrot, Tama/Yamato, Kuzan.
I still think Yamato makes sense as well. Though I almost feel Carrot is a lock in the current setting we are storywise. But that discussion will be over soon when we get more info on certain fights and how Carrot is going to be used.

Not to mention Kuzan is Brook's son. :ninja:
Well several Straw Hats also use Fire in their moves :p. Why not more ICE ICE BABYYYYYYYYYY
jimbe joins
sanji & zoro: we still in the monster trio, right?
aokiji joins
sanji & zoro: fuc this
I think Zoro can handle a somewhat pressured Monet right now.
I don't know what thread to post this in, so I'm writing it off as 'Fan who still thinks Rebecca will join the crew,' just to say that this picture of Doja Cat is literally Rebecca:

What no jack of all trades?
That intro was kick ass
Here's a YT series that looks at the likelihood of some of the top contenders, and I think so far the speaker gives both Carrot and Yamato interesting insight and a fair shake (though I don't personally think Dog and Cat will die for the sake of Carrot's story, but something else could happen involving their defeat). Anyway, if you got some time, I recommend this guy:
I..I think an actual more proper, complete and impartial analysis about Yamato can and should be made when she's at least 30 chapters around, doing it now, with 6 chapters since introduction.. just feels wrong.
I definitely didn't like that this dude literally picked one single possible role in the ship, from the dozens being discussed all across the world, and then quickly jumps into; 'aah but this role makes no sense'.
Why would this guy even bring that up then, Yamato could be an apprendice for all we know.
That said, thanks for sharing Shift.
I remember him from OP Bay. Forgot he did videos. He puts his bias to the side, that's rare. He's thinking that there aren't too many islands left, post Wano. Not saying anything new. I wasted my time on this Yamato video smh.
Wait, Carrot's case is stronger in this arc than WCI arc? How? I would like for him to list the tag along characters that he is speaking of, that can equate to Carrot's treatment. Doesn't look like he will tho.
I disagree with people who say that Usopp's dream is to be a brave warrior of the sea. He wants to be able to tell truths that are more unbelievable than lies. Being a brave warrior of the sea is mainly a way to be able to go through it and an indication for him to know that he is useful to the crew. It was part of his narrative with letting Merry go because it wasn't of use anymore and why Sogeking exist. He looked at Merry similar to how he sees himself in the crew, looked at Merry as a nakama and his work to maintain Merry all aligned with that. Usopp becoming a brave warrior is 1 of those truths more unbelievable than a lie, so it isn't totally wrong. The initial and main dream is what he wants to be able to tell and mostly to Kaya. He has been a brave warrior multiple times, but has he experienced the greatest truth that is more unbelievable than a lie yet?
No dream, WCI arc moments counts as a sad backstory, none of this is new info. Hope I didn't waste my time a 2nd time. So, the change is because of what might happen to Neko and Inu? Not something that actually happened? It makes sense to think that Yamato might grow due to his uncertainty with being Oden, but to say a speculation of deaths makes Carrot's Wano focus more stronger than her WCI arc treatment doesn't add up for me. It's not something that happen, so I can't judge it. How can that be compared to actual moments that took place and can be questioned + discussed? It's a perspective i've read before and still nothing I missed. This is why I rather be on forums than listen to these Youtubers. They add nothing.
This wouldn't be the death of all her leadership figures. Wanda is still here and i've seen Wanda worry or command Carrot more than anyone. Oh, it just hit me that I haven't seen Wanda for a while. Her Sulong has to be near. I guess that technically counts as new, but he didn't really provide this. More of me trying to forcefully get some good from this.
Wait, wouldn't that leave Wanda and Sicilian as some of the obvious next in line for leadership? Imo, that creates more credence for Carrot to stay with her group and help out than to leave when they need new Musketeer leadership.
Yeah, the deaths can possibly add all of those things, but it's not something that took place. Being a Yonko's kid or a Kozuki member would add to chances of being SH? So, if Nami is revealed to be some big shot's kid, then that makes her more of a SH? This is the worst way to end the video lol.
The only good thing I can take from this is that he uses the same exact criteria as me. Nothing I missed and can question to decrease or increase the character's chances, which is what I want the most. The few times I give 1 of these Youtubers a chance, they waste my time again.

Interesting. Two points that caught my attention are Wano’s opening and the idea that it’s too late to recruit more people. What exactly makes it too late to recruit more people on the assumption that “there are only two arcs left” anyway? Also, in regards to Yamato sharing Oden’s dream, would it be safe to assume that Wano’s borders will be opened by the end of the Wano Country arc, or is there a compelling idea I might not be thinking of that would prevent Wano’s borders from being opened even at the end of the arc?

I'm personally in the camp that Luffy's crew, as a cohesive unit, should be finalized relatively soon. Oda wants to finish his story in five years. Not that it'll be strictly five, but the idea that he wants to start tying up loose threads indicates to me that he would probably have had some idea of when he wanted to introduce the final crew members. With Wano being an arc on his mind for a long time, ten years in fact, it makes sense that he would have gotten Jinbe and the mystery tenth person ready in time for it.
If that tenth person is Yamato, he must either have wanted it to be a very big surprise, or had trouble deciding when and how to introduce the character in the 70 chapters beforehand. If it's Carrot, as I suspect, he got her into the story with plenty of time to spare, but it's taking her 4 years and counting of build-up and Jinbe ten. If anyone else is going to join after Wano, they'll have to lay some groundwork pretty quick and heavy, all while the story is ramping up for its grand finale. It's not impossible, but I really feel Oda would understand that the audience would like more than a couple more years to spend with someone so vital to the crew.
I do also think that Wano will be more open after all of this, but it'll take time to see the fruits of that new policy, especially since we likely won't see it for quite a while after the crew leaves. I agree with the video's thoughts that Yamato's goal might change once Wano is free.
Yes, the only way I see a new Strawhat after Wano is if it's already a established character like Hancock or Smoker or Kuzan. Not that I believe they'll join (although I like the theories on Smoker), but they're at least developed and familiar enough to have weight as additions to the crew.

Sorry to say, I don't have the expectation that anyone we've met in the past will join apart from in an honorary sense. The "I'm Spartacus!" moment, if you will.
The last nakamate was us all along.
It’s September 2nd, Kuja day! Happy birthday to my nomination for next crewmate, Boa Hancock!
At this point in time, I am not entirely convinced with Yamato but my goodness does she have a lot of potential and possibility to develop into a very exciting and meaningful character within this arc.
Yamato - The Pheasant:
Given Momonosuke's journey being inspired by the folklore Momotarō, I believe Yamato will fill the role of Pheasant alongside Inuarashi as the Dog (protected and escorted Momonosuke to Wano Kuni) and Luffy as the Monkey (promised to defeat Kaido and help save Wano Kuni). Marco could fill that role but my main concern with Marco is the lack of connection to Momonosuke especially at this point in time during the arc. Sure Marco met Momonosuke as a child and was a close friend of his father but nothing so far indicates a level of friendship that Momonosuke shares with the Mink and the Straw Hat Pirates. The one character that intriguingly has a strong bond with Momonosuke despite them never having met is Yamato. Miraculously, even though one-sided, Yamato is aware of Momonosuke’s relevance and has been fighting for the dream that Momonosuke now represents for the past twenty years. As Yamato has inherited the will of Kozuki Oden, it seems undoubtable and inevitable that Yamato as Kozuki Oden will want to assist Momonosuke. All that is left now is for Momonosuke to recognise Yamato and accept her. With Yamato and Momonosuke's meeting about to occur, I can see Momonosuke taking a liking to Yamato (after telling her to stop acting like Kozuki Oden).
As for how Yamato represents the Pheasant, it could be represented through a Devil Fruit power Yamato has or will eventually get. Or it could be through some connection with her mother. If Yamato's mother belonged to the race Hitetsu and King belong to, Yamato may be part of the yet unrevealed 'avian-race'. Given King's presence in Kaido's crew, Kaido could have been exposed to other members of King's race and that may have been how Kaido met Yamato's mother. It could be nothing but I also find it curious that Hitetsu, King and Yamato were all introduced concealing their whole faces with a mask. Furthermore, the connection of the Fenghuang (Hō-ō) being paired with the Chinese dragon (Seiryu) in East Asian mythology may have relevance within One Piece. And even beyond Yamato's mother, Yamato could also share that connection through the father/child relationship Kaido and her share (with Yamato attaining a power that embodies the Fenghuang). The Fenghuang symbolizes the union of male and female where yin and yang are in balance which is fitting in Yamato's case as she has decided to become Kozuki Oden, a man she greatly admires. In the earliest times, the Fenghunag referred to two birds - Feng representing the male bird with Huang embodying the female. The Feng and Huang were later combined into a single female bird. Fenghuang also symbolizes harmony which is comparable to the meaning of Yamato's name - "Great Harmony". Additionally, the Fenghuang has sometimes been depicted carrying scrolls or sacred books. Yamato was introduced carrying Oden's journal which she considers a sacred book.
!
With Yamato sharing similarities with a Mythological Beast, I find the possibility that Yamato and the Fenghuang being connected to be very curious. Yamato could also end up attaining the powers of a Fenghuang aka Phoenix.
Yamato inheriting the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix:
Given how Oda has incorporated elements of the Fenghuang into the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix devil fruit such as the full Phoenix transformation appearance and the ability Marco used on the Queen Mama Chanter (Hō-ō), I don't believe there is a Fenghuang (Hō-ō) variant model of the Tori Tori no Mi. With both Marco and Yamato being present on Onigashima, the possibility exist that Yamato could attain the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix devil fruit.
A scenario that could see Yamato inheriting the Phoenix Devil Fruit abilities would likely involve Blackbeard or one of his crew members. There are several reasons for the Blackbeard Pirates to show up in Wano Kuni now; the Road Poneglyph, Nico Robin, a Zoan Devil Fruit to complete the trinity for Teach which would help him fill the gap left by his 'weak' defense, Wano Kuni weapons, and taking out rivals that are weakened after battle.
If Blackbeard or one of his crew members does make an appearance in the Wano Kuni Arc, they may end up confronting Marco. In order to keep the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix power away from the Blackbeard Pirates, Marco may use an unrevealed technique unique to the Devil Fruit to rebirth it in Yamato (if any Devil Fruit would have this ability, it would be this one). Given its Phoenix nature the ability could allow the power to be reborn within a new person (Marco may or may not die in the process - I personally don’t want to see Marco die but it would have more impact if he were killed). As for why Yamato, after some interaction between the two, Marco may come to recall her from the stories Ace told and recognise that Yamato does genuinely intend to carry Oden’s will into the future. I believe Yamato only introduced herself as Kozuki Oden to Ace during their interactions which led the Whitebeard Pirates to believe that Oden was still alive in Wano Kuni. Upon meeting Yamato, Marco would realise who Ace was talking about. Despite Marco and Yamato not knowing each other, they are both bonded to one another through their connections with Ace and Oden. This association may be what allows Marco to decide to leave his Phoenix powers to Yamato so that she can use it to help save Wano Kuni, carry on Ace’s will/promise and assist the Straw Hat Pirates going forward. And if Yamato does end up fighting the Blackbeard Pirates alongside the Straw Hat Pirates, there would be further relevance in Marco passing on his abilities to Yamato. Marco along with the Remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates fought with the Blackbeard Pirates during the timeskip but ultimately they were defeated. Knowing that he won’t be able to stop Blackbeard, Marco may feel compelled to pass his power onto the next generation so that they can combat Blackbeard and through the use of the power he once wielded, eventually defeat the Blackbeard Pirates.
!
However the situation plays out during the Wano Kuni Arc, I believe there is relevance in Yamato, the Fenghuang, the Pheasant and Marco. Yamato will embody the Pheasant that chose to assist Momotarō in his quest to liberate the land from the Oni devastating it. Kaido will be defeated and Yamato will be integral in that end being reached. And upon Kaido's defeat, Yamato and the readers may come to learn of his history with Rocks which twisted Kaido's perception of pirates (having his trust and admiration in Rocks betrayed by Rocks himself) and that history could lead Yamato to having another reason to confront the Blackbeard Pirates (assuming Teach has inherited Rocks's will).
Yamato and the Nitoryu Style:
With Yamato resolving to become Kozuki Oden, could she become a Nitoryu user? Yamato has already donned a style similar to Oden’s in terms of her outfit and if she had two blades, I believe she would also wield them (she already considers herself Kaido's son because of Oden's gender). Just like Oden, Yamato wouldn’t need to follow a set Nitoryu style and could develop her own. Yamato has already shown she has experience with her Kanabō and if she were to attain two blades, she could incorporate her existing fighting style through the swords to develop her own variation of Nitoryu - just like Oden.
Once Yamato and Momonosuke befriend each other, I wonder if Momonosuke will eventually bestow onto Yamato, the Ame no Habakiri. At this point in time, Momonosuke does not believe he is ready to wield it and given their current conflict with the Beast Pirates and Big Mom, Momonosuke may end up offering the blade that once belonged to his father, Oden, to Yamato as a weapon to wield against Kaido and Orochi.
Yamato could use that blade to help defeat Orochi once he reappears and transforms into his Yamata no Orochi form (he ain’t dead). Orochi also wields a sword (the one he tried to kill Toko with) and that could be a Meito that he had Tenguyama Hitetsu forge at some point in the past. Even if Hitetsu did not specifically forge a sword for Orochi, Orochi could have still claimed one of Hitetsu’s blades as his own after he became Shogun. It could have been that event that led Hitetsu into hiding. Orochi’s sword could potentially be the Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi (“Heavenly Sword of Gathering Clouds”). In the Yamata no Orochi tale when Susanoo used the Ame no Habakiri to chop up Orochi into small pieces, he ended up discovering a blade in the fourth tail of the beast. The sword was the Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi. If Yamato is destined to fight and help defeat Orochi, Yamato could discover Orochi’s blade when Orochi is defeated. Yamato could claim that as her second blade for her Nitoryu style. If Yamato’s mother were part of the unrevealed ‘avian-race’ Hitetsu belongs to, he may have known her and as such have no issue with Yamato using the swords he crafted. Once in possession of the blades, Yamato could help Luffy against Kaido by slicing though the heavens and cutting the clouds Kaido uses to fly in his Dragon form. At some point it would also be fitting for Yamato to inflict a physical wound onto Kaido with the Ame no Habakiri.
!
In addition to using the two Meito, Yamato could also continue using her Kanabō. The reason for wielding two different weapon sets could stem from the dual identity Yamato is currently in a state of collision between. Given a situation, Yamato could choose to fight as the daughter of Kaido using the Kanabō or if she feels like Kozuki Oden, she could choose to use her Nitoryu style during those moments. Yamato’s conflict between her two identities could serve as her quirk (if she were to become a Straw Hat nakama) and be the struggle she has to eventually overcome. To not be lost in the strife and uncertainty of her current state of mind. If Yamato were using Kozuki Oden’s identity to mask her own weaknesses and vulnerabilities, the moment she has to face herself could be a deeply inspiring moment with much emotional resonance. Yamato will need to find out who she really is and this could be someone that embraces being both the child of Kaido and the inheritor of Oden’s will.
Yamato and Jinbe:
Yamato joining could also help add relevance to Jinbe presence's in the crew. Yamato has been "imprisoned" for twenty years and there is no way that such a reality and past would not create emotional and mental scars within her. You can already see the hints of doubt in Yamato's mind when Luffy ask her to protect Momonosuke alongside Shinobu. Jinbe has experience with being among former prisoners (Tiger, Koala and other Sunny Pirates) so if Oda wanted it explored, he could have Jinbe help Yamato with any trauma and mental anguish she may have - she will need help and Jinbe has helped Luffy through his mental trauma in the past. Robin after having met Koala may also have some insight in Yamato's situation and be able to assist.
The rebirth of "Kozuki Oden" through the Phoenix Flames:
How fitting would it be for “Kozuki Oden” to be reborn to the world through the flames of a Phoenix when Yamato inherits that power and the will's connecting to the overall story of One Piece (Oden’s, Marco’s, her mother’s, potentially Ace’s and potentially Kaido’s once he liberates himself from his indifferent state through his fight with Luffy who will help him redefine the meaning of "pirate"). If Yamato (self-styled Kozuki Oden) were to join the Straw Hat Pirates it would naturally draw the attention of the World Government, Shanks, the remnants of the Whitebeard Pirates and Blackbeard. All recognise the name and realise how powerful Oden was and all would be curious about the individual using the name now. With the conclusion of One Piece approaching, it would make sense to have a character battle-ready for the final saga/arc and have the connective threads relevant to the overall story of One Piece. And unlike a lot of characters introduced in the New World, Yamato came to find out about Luffy over 3 years ago and has been waiting for him since. To Yamato, Luffy isn't just someone he met "today".
The one problem I can see with Yamato inheriting the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix and becoming a Straw Hat Pirate nakama is the Devil Fruit number theory. I don't fully understand that theory myself but its presence in the crew would prevent the "325" sum from being reached, I believe.
Ah, that was a lot. I may be completely wrong but I had fun constructing that =).
I'm personally in the camp that Luffy's crew, as a cohesive unit, should be finalized relatively soon. Oda wants to finish his story in five years. Yeah, in retrospect, it seems that the aspect of Luffy recruiting someone he met post-time skip into his main crew was focused on less in favor of focusing more on Oden’s followers and the Grand Fleet, in addition to Luffy’s interactions with them. I suppose Fishman Island and Whole Cake Island serve as exceptions in that they focus more on the dynamics and change ups in the main crew due to the process of Jinbe’s recruitment and Sanji’s character development.
And of course, the five year goal shouldn’t be taken as an absolute guarantee, since Oda is free to change his mind on how he wants the story to progress any time he wants. That said though, I agree that if he does have any plans to introduce new recruits, then perhaps it’s best to do it sooner rather than later. Not to say that it would be impossible to get attached to new recruits Oda may decide to introduce at the “last minute,” but I suppose it would at least help more people get a feel of the crew dynamic and sense of friendship by introducing new recruits now instead of later.
I do also definitely see the potential for Yamato to go through some big character development, as I felt that a big reason she wants to be like Oden is out of desperation for her to cling onto hope and keep Oden’s Will alive as best as she thinks it should be done, after all the abuse she suffered from Kaido and presumably not wanting to see the other people of Wano trapped under him like how she felt trapped. I think the idea of her staying and accepting the responsibility of shogun really depends on how Momo feels in regards to accepting the responsibilities of shogun as a kid or waiting until he’s older, since he’s meant to take up the responsibilities his father had.
The last nakamate was us all along.
Last page of the manga will be Luffy looking at the fourth wall thanking the reader for taking the journey alongside him and the crew.

That would actually hurt my soul. Too many feelings.
I still think we will get our last crewmate in some mystery island/arc we haven’t heard of yet, Just like how we got Chopper on Drum Island
OK, so these three are like the most common fanmade colorings I've seen for Yamato so far, or at least the ones that prevailed among many others
At first I was absolutely convinced by purple, but that's Tama, Orochi and now Page One's thing and its becoming too repetitive.
Pink looks amazingly gorgeuos too, but with O-toko and Linlin around… well, let's just say, is not the most original.
White in the other hand, would be the best decision to me, it's pretty original, not only by Wano standars, but thorugout the series, white hair is a rare occurrence.
I'm still willing to go on with Pink and Purple tho, I'm definitely getting off the boat if it turns out to be Green, Lime Green, Blue(any shade), brown, and ooooh God, just please do not make it Orange, never go with Orange with Nami around!!
For some reason, I can't see Red and Yellow happening at all, and also Turquoise would come as a very pleasant surprsise, but I think it's unlikely.
When it comes to Oda and coloring it could be literally anything
lol just wait for the official coloring in the manga in like a color spread, volume cover, or something. No need to look too deeply at fan work colors.
the one in the middle is literally Tama lol
The one at the end is Inuyasha…
Been getting the Inuyasha vibes from Yamato since his intro

Purple-reddish looks good on her I feel, though Tama’s hair was dark-colored in the manga. Since Yamato’s hair is lighter colored, then perhaps a silver/white haired look may suit her well too.

Be careful, or we might all fall into a Yamato-is-Time-Traveller-Tama conspiracy theories.. :ninja:

Im guilty of it since her introduction lmao.
Their personalities is a bit similar, and theres the Ace connection, but nothing else makes sense lol.
Talking about Ace connections.
Assuming that Yamato's handcuffs allow her to room free througout Wano(since Onigashima is geologically, geographically and politically part of Wano)
So that Ace and Yamato met in Kuri?
Or, assuming Yamato cannot get out of Onigashima especifically because of the cuffs.
Meaning Ace invaded Onigashima.(juiciest option, need flashback ASAP)
I'm starting to think its the latter, and also I'm starting to think Yamato was originally the Witching Hour Boy, but that identity was changed last minute and given to Kyoshiro, only to benefit the argument that Yamato has been in Onigshima all this time.

Yeah, ill agree with the latter.
as for yamato being witching hour boy originally… man, you've been slipping up with details lately monquito. Denjiro was introduced as _nappin_g Kyoshiro and even took a nap in front of Robin because as we found out later, he went out at nights as the witching hour boy.
If he's to be a crewmate, white would be best. If he's just an arc ally, then pink makes him look too close to Rebecca. Purple… well we already have Tama. (Not that Oda thinks TOO much about such things before it hits the coloring phase.) And almost no one in the series has had Nami orange and that would just be bad all around.
Yellow eyes like Daddy seems like a no brainer though. Eyes are being consistently drawn light and that would pop compared to everyone else.
What everyone is forgetting though is that black area won't necessarily be black in color, it doesn't even have to be dark, it could be anything. (But, black from Kaidou would make sense.) Inazuma's black and white combo turned out to be white and orange after all (and Kuma's solid black was also intended as orange) . So there's all sorts of insanity it could be. Green and purple? Blue and orange? Pink and purple? Yellow andblack? No telling.
White and purple would color all the major missing Strawhat bases though.
I really hope its not white hair on a red outfit though, that's just Inu Yasha.
Worst of all, whatever the next cover has, it'll probably be his disguise design to not spoil the reveal. So it might be half a year before we get proper colors unless a color spread addresses it sooner
Yeah, ill agree with the latter.

Yeah but I guess I just can't accept Yamato wasn't hinted much earlier into the arc, maybe she was and we're not seeing it yet, Kyoshiro was already a hard one given he has double-double identity pretending to be both Kyoshiro and WHB.
It would be cool if we got the final member from a Davyback fight, what are the odds of that happening?
I wanted (dark) pink or purple hair, but seeing that white-haired Yamato made me change my mind.
Although maybe a darker skin tone…
@.:Nonsh:.:

That'd be glorious and 200% Strawhat Material.
Yeah if Yamato comes out darker skinned like daddy that would very very quickly set him apart from Nami… everywhere except the actual manga where its most important.
My friend thinks the Straw Hats might face off against Shanks and his crew in a davyback fight
That would make some sense that way Luffy could face off against Shanks and it could still be relatively friendly, a good way to surpass him but still keep there relationship The same

And the afro powerup might shut up people who think he shouldn't be strong enough to beat him. :ninja:
