One Piece Episode 933 Preview
I know this is a discussion for episode 932 but that preview tho. I expected the Zoro vs Gyukimaru scene but the Zoro vs Kamazou scene made my jaw drop.
Luffy…can use GEAR 2 WITH KAIROSEKI? Is that a plot hole? I think it is.

…I thought his collar was ALSO made of Sea Stone...weird... why doesnt he escape then? Also despite being the anime's biggest champion this side of Skippy my heart sank when I saw Jet Gattling being so boringly animated. And I dont mean in Sakuga way either. I meant that on Enies Lobby we couldnt EVEN SEE JET GATTLING, it was insanely fast and powerful. Here its almost a footnote.
Great episode. I don't know if it just me, but I'm enjoying this section of the Wano arc (Act 2 in general) a lot more in the anime then the manga so far. I like that the anime expend a bit more on the bathhouse stuff. Drake's reaction to Stealth Black was pretty funny. From the preview for next week episode, Zoro's fight is looking to be slick.

I CANT WAIT for the next episode. Despite all my grumbling the anime is amazing so far.
I see… I was going to say Luffy could easily break the collar if its not made out of Sea Stone but Poor Grandpa Hyo could die and Luffy wouldnt do that. Gotta admit I love it that I love being proven wrong when I complain because it makes me appreciate One Piece more.
Today's episode was fairly good. Felt like the action could've been a bit more interesting than it was.
Next week looks hype.
Man, going from watching a couple episodes of Japan Sinks to this was certainly an experience in whiplash.
I don't really have much to say about this episode - it was passable enough. Pretty workmanlike with the music doing most of the heavy lifting (love Queen's leitmotif) and obviously fodder for the Ringo two-parter, the first half of which next week looks absolutely phenomenal from the preview alone needless to say. I noticed that Matsuda got a little ahead of herself here and seemed to go ahead and draw the confrontation on the bridge at the end ahead of her own episode next week. I know that Nagamine himself has joked that she's a Zoro fangirl and she certainly doesn't do much to dispel that notion lol
This was a really standard episode.
With some really pretty usage of conpositing in some places, Hosoda's direction was pretty alright in this episode.
My favorite portion of the episode is ofc when X-Drake and Hawkins were in awe of Stealth Black Sanji and the short scuffle between them.
In the 2nd half near the end, the flashback to Luffy vs Kaido was not only unnecessarily long but also felt very bizarre and out of place. Well anyways it probably wasn't a high priority episode anyways.
I'm avoiding next week's episode preview like it's a manga chapter spoiler because apparently it shows a lot of the fight and it also looks insane from what I can hear. It's gonna be difficult not to overcome the temptation of giving it a peak.

when it comes to gear second,gear second attacks is never accurate the way it is in the manga, jet pistol in the manga you never see the delivery of the punch itself only the fist recoil and the shockwave when it attacks, the same effect is for jet bazooka and jet gatling but in the anime you always see the punch(es)! Only in strong world did it look the way it should!
Did you pay attention to the episode from last week? It because if Luffy or Hyogoro tries to break off the collar, the blades will come out and they be done for.
And then why he can't protect his neck with haki? Is this collar anti haki? xd

Oda isn’t particularly consistent about that sort of thing, so I don’t necessarily blame the anime. For example, look at Luffy’s hawk gattling in chapter 780 of the manga.
Soba Mask was the highlight once again
Boring episode; really tired of the prison's color scheme and often boring storyboarding for the prison scenes. Looking forward to that heating up finally in the coming month. Of all the places for filler, I wish they'd recognize that those scenes should get less of it.
Much better than the last 2, I really enjoyed.
Looks like we’re getting an entire chapter in an episode this week. Nice. Preview shows all three scenes in the chapter, and the chapter is action heavy, so they’ll definitely wrap up Zoro’s fight. Will be curious if we get a few pages more than a full chapter.
