Intense chapter. The story is building up so nicely. I wonder if each of the 14 princes will have one main "dark side", a dominant trait: the princess whose bodyguard is Melody is a huge liar. Tsierdenich enjoys torture too much. The 1rst Prince seems like the incarnation of "wrath", and so on.
They're all unlikeable, yet interesting characters. This must be why I'm really, really looking forward to the Battle Royal.

After seeing the size of the holes the bodyguards were found with, I'm not sure if the killer is indeed Shizuku. Considering her personality, I'd actually doubt it, yet, I'm still supporting the theory. Kind of.

The last panel really gave me the chills.

The holes in the bodies can't be Shizku since the Spiders are general passages which are below 1st and 2nd floors. I have a feeling Melody was talking about the other Prince about her entire self being a lie. That was Benjamin Nen beast right?

I'm very sure he was talking about Kacho and not Fugetsu. If that's what you mean. Because Kacho is acting kindly with her sister but she turns into a spoiled girl when she's alone with her bodyguards.

As for Benjamin, I think it's just his bloodlust. We know one's bloodlust can be felt. Kirua felt Illumi's bloodlust during the election arc.

The holes are way too big to be caused by Shizuku´s vaccum cleaner, which are caused by the teeth it has.

That's definitely what Kacho plans judging by how Melody everything about this girl is a lie.

There's a blank panel on page 16. I'm interested in seeing what Togashi puts there in the volume. I don't think people are far off when they think she's talking about Fugetsu. I think the fact that Fugetsu and Kacho are always together (refusing to leave separately like they should) will result in one killing the other. Fugetsu probably will dominate, since we don't see her thoughts or agency.

Most interesting parts of this week's chapter:

Kurapika with a gun. Is it just me, or is this more effective than using Judgment Chain to interrogate? Kurapika's murder of Uvogin and Pakunoda were somewhat indirectly done (caused by the individual choices of the victims). Now Kurapika is willing to directly get his hands dirty, which is interesting. I wonder if we'll see him shoot someone dead.
8 weeks on the boat…plenty of time to end the succession war. I think this will be split into two distinct arcs--the succession war on the boat followed by the DC. What do the Hui Guo Rou family expect to do once landing on the fake Dark Continent? Will any make it to the real one?
Did anyone else notice that Sanbica Norton was there? I wonder if she'll be part of the medical force.
Beyond's got brains. I wonder what he's been reading. Coincidentally, Kanzai is stupid but I want to see him fight.
Glasses-kun is still around? He might be an actual character. The DC guide; I'm excited to see this labyrinth city littered with Brion. Also, the International Sea Travel Permission Bureau's chairman is probably Zzigg Zoldyck.

Maybe it's a combinaton of Franklin and shizuku like in the Yorksin arc? Franklin shoots them with his nen-bullets and shizuku cleans the "dirt".

What the hell was Lum doing in this chapter? Guess the assistants have to amuse themselves somehow.

(First four pages were 100% assistants. 5-7 were mostly Togashi. 8 was Togashi for characters, assitants backgrounds. 9-11 was almost entirely Togashi, 12-the end were a mix of Togashi characters,and assistants doing all the backgrounds and background characters.)

It hasn't even been back for three months yet, which was its shortest run last time around.

It's record at this point is 30 chapters, and that ended in scribbles and a nearly three year break.

It gets a title change when it earns it.

I'm not new to this series, but I do feel that this time it may be different. I can't remember Togashi ever having assistance or talking about positive changes in his lifestyle until now. Although I may be wrong.

what were his comments like last time? He seems to be at least taking measures to strengthen himself. I don't see it at as pure complaining this time around, it just has his cynicism in it. Although I still believe that a hiatus is inevitable, I just feel that this time is different than the more recent runs he has had.

if he had used his time off to plan the story out instead of just playing video/computer games he would have been able to do the chapters faster and go back to playing video games but at least he might rush the ending of it like what toriko seems to be doing at the moment.

You could ask robby to change the title after a certain amount of chapters of it being back instead of a year that might work since in Robby's last post he said it only came back for 9 chapters so you could try to make a deal by asking for around 15 chapters or something like that which is less than a year if he does not take breaks but a decent amount of chapters.

First they complain about the hiatuses, but when its back they complain about the content. "The Hisoka fight came out of nowhere!! So random". Sure if you forgotten the entire reason for Greed Island and the auction house from Hisoka's perspective.
