If Ochako and Deku don't kiss before the final battle, I'll be very disappointed.
That's actually really uncommon in shonen battle manga.

I know it is, but can't I hope?
It would be nice if this comic would do something new…but alas, JUMP sucks.
Wonderful chapter. I wanted to punch that crowd, Deku is one thing but then they made Inko cry. Unforgivable.
Uraraka becoming the next All Might would be a fantastic twist, though I feel the rise of several inspiring heroes working together would be the more logical conclusion.
Ever since Deku was given his quirk I've been hoping the series ends with him losing those powers. This time knowing that a hero is something beyond superpowers, maybe even becoming a therapist or something. Now that they're alluding that someone else might become the next shining star it only strengthens that thought. It's be a nice way to round off the series, bring back Deku to his roots and put the whole One for All / All for One conflict to rest.
The ranking and having All Might as the pillar of hero society was greatly flawed. The citizens are fickle and scared. Having one person shoulder that role was bound to cause problems. I'm hoping they learn to have more of a justice league type aspect.
I'd love to see Uraraka with One for All. I'm not sure Horikoshi could write such a story unless he buckled down and actually did research and consultations with women but I think it'd be a nice alternative to Deku.
Didn't they just get through establishing that you have to be quirkless to start in order for OFA to not… kill you super young?

I don't remember. Maybe? So what? I say ignore the things you don't find fun and write stories you want to write.
I still have no idea what animal that tall girl is supossed to be.
A bandicoot I think.
That's actually really uncommon in shonen battle manga.
And there are many other ways a boy and a girl can convey their mutual feelings for each other. A kiss is also pretty cliché IMO, I would go with something more creative, Edward Elric-style.
"I want you to be my companion. My muse. As Superman had Lois Lane. As Spider-Man had Mary Jane Watson. As Green Lantern had whoever he had."
Yeah Hal Jordan had a alien loli, and Guy Gardner is no exemple of "morality".

She's pretty clearly a Fillyjonk; it's just the eye makeup and lack of a hat that's throwing you.

John had Hawkwoman, right?
Damn
! Deku's shoes cost Y5400.
Vigilantes 108
Time for Phase 6.
~Vig Talk~
Once again we see Koichi's years as a vigilante and passive nature worked to his advantage. Not sure what Number 6 can do now except for using psychological warfare. I'm really interesting in knowing what's the difference between No. 6 and Nomu other than him being alive and made from scratch.
Here we can see that today's episode budget went solely for the Pietà still.
It sucks that they're cutting out the little things that give the characters personality and depth. Destro's personality is pretty much standard villain boss. His commercial and interaction with his assistant went a long way painting him as someone more than that.
Shigi doing meta talk about this season:
Dear god this episode felt rushed. Re-Destro and company feel incredibly bland and just shoved in as another enemy for the League to conquer. Doing Toga's big fight immediately feels wrong since it doesn't feel like a proper fight as a result.
Bleh.

Even the manga wasn't much better on this front tbh…

They are bland compared to the LoV because of exposure, but cutting the meaningful scenes like the comercial and Redestro killing his company subordinate make then even blander.
The MHA chapter was….Okay. Ochako's speech really didn't seem good enough to bring tears...It felt kinda rambley.
Ochako's chapter feels like a reflection of Toga's backstory…

Oh I agree that the anime has unnecessarily made this arc and its antagonists worse, I was just pointing out that in the grand scheme of things, the MLA did continue the trend of there just being new villains that weren't all that fleshed out that the LoV just steamroll over. For anime-only fans, it sucks that they aren't getting the best possible version of this arc. But for us manga readers, it's like, meh, I'm already aware of how lackluster the MLA sadly ended up being, especially past this arc.

It was very cheesy and frankly Uraraka's lacking screentime/portrayal thus far made it even harder to buy into.
I kinda agree it was rambley, but I like that. Almost like she's struggling to put her emotions into words. And, she hasn't completely turned the crowd, just gotten them to stop and think. Kota and Giant Fox Woman coming in for the assist helps. Ochaco created a Support Deku wave for others to ride. I can totally see Inko, the parents, are other all rushing to Deku's side in solidary.
And, I love the WE became the greatest heroes note.
Yeah. I suppose her rambling was also more realistic.
I also liked that last line. I'm glad to see it changed from I to We.
Also poor Deku. He's had an emotional day so I'll let his sobbing mess go lol.
"I want you to be my companion. My muse. As Superman had Lois Lane. As Spider-Man had Mary Jane Watson. As Green Lantern had whoever he had."
“Green Lantern had….”gestures in the direction of a refrigerator
I’ve been really digging this series post-Downfall.
Not to beat on a dead horse, but beating on…the storyboard sequence for the Toga final part of the victory was miles better than what Bones delivered.
The production being unable to handle Vincent Chansard's original ideas is a real shame. I wish there was time for the full version to be able to added to the Blu-ray release of the series but I suspect that after this stink the production will specifically not try to animate the full scene.

After having this scene not adapted he asked to removed from staff credits from the episode, so this is probably the only chance we got to see the see being both good and more faithful to the manga.
Dude… this chapter got me.

I'm aware that he asked not to be credited. It's my hope that the production might still find a way for a future master being completed using the full scene but I'm also nigh convinced that such won't happen after this whole backlash.
Dude… this chapter got me.
Thank you!
I felt the same.
Hori has really been doing a good job of making me feel the emotion in this scene of the arc.
I felt a lump in my throat with this chapter.
I also loved that Ochaco suddenly remembered Toga's tears after she mentioned everyone being able to smile together.
It shows that there's still hope for a connection with Toga.
Deku tops Kacchan in France
That spices things up in vacations I guess.
Twice, Toga, Dabi, Froppy, and Mirko all in the Top 20. I approve.
Red Flag Toshinori at the end

No Heteromorphs? WTF, shelters? I'm glad this arc is exposing the racism in this society. Now if only the heroes would address it.
Glad we got an explanation why AFO/Shiggy didn't just teleport away during the Tartarus breakout. Not sure how they can restore the Nomu's minds if it's possible.

Yeah, Toshinori must've had his talk with Stain by now. Looks like there's some serous thoughts running through his head.
I liked that the guy with the weird head from chapter 1 came back, pretty cool.
I also like the point being made overall. How much longer do they want to play the role of the audience and keep complaining like they're above the drama?
Happy that the loudmouth ended up putting his umbrella over Deku too.
A good touch, as opposed to the cliche of just shutting up and disappearing without any apologetic action.

The villains eliminate a Klan cell, but the heroes acknowledging discrimination on mutant type quirks?! That's too far, or something the could only be done in vigilantes.
Glad to see Aizawa only lost one eye.
So how racist is the My hero world exactly? We arent talking about people being bad people but actual governmental or massive organisation having openly discriminatory policies. Isnt that weird?

It seems to be pretty bad given what some characters said in Vigilantes. I'd say it's probably like a type of systemic racism. It's not talked about enough, but folks that live it are aware of it.
I like that Shark puppy lady called Deku her crybaby hero lol. Hopefully this narration from Nezu or was it Hawks? Means we get some much needed down time for the kids. Basically all the stuff that probably needed to happen during the hospital stay.
I've never seen France's popularity poll. Is this the usual line up for them?
Also..Why was Kaminari slapping Bakugo? Lol.
Cool chapter, curious about what will happen next, perhaps it´s time to see the villain´s side again? I am wondering how Spinner, Dabi and Toga are doing without Shiggy. There are also the MLA members that got away, since Hori bothered to get them designs maybe we will see some of them again.
About the shelter thing, maybe she tried first with the irregular ones first? You know, civilians defending their towns and the like. Mha´s seems to have discrimination against muntant-type quirks, but the KKK´s equivalent was out of money meaning they didn´t have that much influence, so I really doubt that a school´s shelter would turn away someone just because of their looks.

From what I remember someone was talking about the government helping out people with mutant bodies because most residences are built with the average human body in mind. But that means they can't live just anywhere and that can affect where they work, etc.
From what I read online, Kaminari was trying to stop Bakugo from giving that guy the stink eye for insulting Best Jeanist. I love little details like that.

I think most schools with hero programs became shelters so I'm assuming she got turned away from other schools. But, I don't see it as an isolated incident. My Hero Vigilantes and Spinner would indicate otherwise. Maybe not widespread but it's there.
Correct me if I am wrong, but is Toga even with the villains at the moment? I know Spinner, Dabi and Sceptic are but the last we saw of Toga was her fight with Ochako, and she was shown to be on her own when the last arc ended.
