Vigilantes 86
! My boy Rappa is back.
Takeshi Kuroiwa made another move, how many steps Mr. Oguro was ahead of the game when AFO stole his quirk.
! Yeah, KD took AFO and his organization very seriously, as you should. Makes me wonder if his ultimate plan was for Koichi to take up the mantle in destroying AFO's organization.
! As for Rappa, it's good to see him again. I was expecting some heroes to show if the crap hit the fan at the hospital but I'm wondering if Rappa will show up instead to help as a favor to KD.
Main Series Talk
I didn't even consider Bakugo could lose his quirk until I read the thread. And, no one's talking about Endeavor could lose his too, ouch. At the very least, they're gonna be in bad shape. It's almost ridiculous how dead or injured most of the heroes are at the moment. Japan is ripe for the taking for the PLF even without Shiggy and Giggy.
As for Deku's arms…Eri? Or, finding someone with a stronger healing quirk than Recovery Girl with a harsher side-effect to it being used on someone.
I do like the idea of Bakugo being out of commission for a while. I want to see where his character goes from here. Hm, Deku AND Bakugo gonna be benched for a time. This was Hori's plan all along to get Uraraka, Ida, and Froppy back in the spotlight.

! I'm kinda more disturbed that Deku and Enji were going for the kill. Yes, I understand that he is the BIG threat.
But if heroes are judge, jury and executor what stands in the away of one hero becoming a reverse Stain, killing every villain he faces.
All Might wasn't hung up about trying to kill AFO so I'm thinking neither will Deku. That is, until he talks with Nana and learns Shiggy is her grandson.
@MDL:
! I think this is one of those times where the ways of the world as we know them are thrown out the window,
simply because of the apocalyptic nature of the threat in front of them.
! In essence, it's less about snuffing Shigaraki's life and more about stopping this ungodly force of death that will consume everything if it's not taken down.
It's one of those times where the threat is so huge… there's really no other feasible option.
They're not trying to kill the user for the sake of killing the user, they're trying to get rid of the dangerous quirk through the death of its user.
! All Might did the same to AFO. He completely brutalized him in an effort to kill him and get rid of his threat, but he survived.
All Might was VERY surprised and afraid when he got his first hint that AFO was still alive.
So this kind of decision has been made before, and this time it's even more understandable.
! But something I'm definitely interested in is how this will affect Deku's mind going forward.
You don't simply forget that you attempted to kill someone, even if it was justified at the time.
Seeing as AFO went directly to Tartarus without a trial, I don't think the government will have a problem with the heroes trying to kill a souped up Shigaraki with his quirk.
Actually, with the Crab Cop from MHV using her quirk but having to fill out paperwork to explain it, to the Mantis Bros justifying using their quirks in self-defense to Aizawa (again, the Vigilantes series), to the Dog Police Chief not really punishing Deku, Todoroki and Ida for fighting Stain, I think the gray area laws in the My Hero Universe mostly works on a case-by-case basis. Which makes sense to me granted how pretty much anything can happen when it involves super powers.
