I think the Camie thing only came up cause he laughed at her "joke" and she vaguely said he seemed pretty cool when he wasn't yelling. Also I think she complimented his looks along with Todoroki? But yeah I mean I guess? It depends on if we seem them again and if he's friendly to her or if she's flirty with him.

In short, Camie x Bakugo exists because Camie and Bakugo interacted once.

To be fair, the one time they interacted had Camie comment on how she wouldn't be into dating someone like Bakugo and Bakugo laughing at kids thinking Shouto's illusion is handsome/fatherly if I'm not mistaken. It is way too minor to ever foreshadow or pay off towards anything, but at least that context is miles ahead of how most ships are born out of pure unrelated fantasy.

I would hate them being reveal to have romantic feeling for each other. If you want McBoom gay fine. But put him him with Electrico or another guy. I don't want the only person he actually has a real friendship with to be because he is the one he wants to bone. Also I'm sure if it happens it would lead to ExplosionLord being best friend with Deku an idea I hate.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Thinking about it, Bakugou shares a lot with Gajeel and Vegeta personality wise, so I wouldn't be surprised if, to keep with shounen cliches, he ended up with a "smart-bluehaired-short-pretty-girl-who-talks-back" archetype, ie Levy and Bulma (tbh I haven't read fairytail in ages, did Levy talk back? I seem to remember her being feisty). That said, we haven't had any such characters introduced into the story yet, so it's as much speculation as anything else.
I remember Levy being incredibly sweet and Gajeel wanting to protect her because she wasn't afraid of him. But she wasn't feisty with him or others from what I remember.
What's Gravity girl hair color?

Wait…Have you never been able to watch it? Or do you watch it elsewhere?
Yaaaa rrrrr

You're right, I was totally off. Went to the wiki, and it turns out that before they dated, she was tortured and branded by Gajeel. Wtf Mashima, you redeemed a guy who tortured people, and then had him end up dating the girl he abused and branded? WTF. Maybe it wasn't that messed up in the manga, but just going by the wiki synopsis, I'm shocked.
(yes, I've wiped most of FT out of my memory)
-
Was it Levy this happened to? I remember it was pretty serious and Fairy Tail was livid. If that's the case it is kind of fucked up altough Gajeel did at least act sorry and receive any crap people gave him once he switched side.
-
Yaaaa rrrrr
Soo….Is that a yes that you've been able to to watch it or not? Lol.
Desa having him with Kaminari seems a bit more of a stretch than Kirishima. I think he probably does regard him (Denki) as a friend too. Part of that unofficial Baku-squad thing. Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero and Mina. But I think that came about because of how they tease him or trick him into doing stuff he says he doesn't want to do. I can see the argument for both really. The importance of Bakugou having just a trusted friend.
I think Bakugou could probably like Ochacho but she hangs around Deku too much lol.
I wonder if Horikoshi would do the epilogue of pairing off and having his characters have kids and whatnot. If so Bakugou would probably have to be paired with someone that would have a quirk that could mix well with his.

I pray for anyone unlucky to end up with Mineta.

I pray for anyone unlucky to end up with Mineta.
The only thing Mineta is gonna end up with is lawsuits and STDs.
-
Getting an STD would most likely mean he first got some.
-
I think it just implies that he paid for some when he got old enough.
Since that's kind of a lottery with STD chances. -

I get plenty of laughs from the guy, but I honestly can't imagine him as an actual hero in the world they've built and his pervertedness sort of doesn't fit with the rest of the characters. Also, how the hell did he pass the exams to even get in or ever have higher scores than Deku when they first started class, lol?

In Vigilantes, Mineta perfectly fits in since there's an American All Might-esque hero that traveled to Japan to escape scandals that include cheating on his wife. And there are plenty of heroes already complaining about Endeavor, but that is probably due to the fact being the no. 1 Pro-Hero now shines a LOT of the spotlight on him.
Horikoshi also talked about how Mineta passed the exams in one of the volumes. The rules weren't to actually destroy the robots, only to at least immobilize and render them not functional anymore. Mineta's sticky ball Quirk is actually perfect for laying traps to get huge clunky robots stuck.
-
Honestly, I was hoping that after his internship with Mt. Lady, Horikoshi would have shifted Mineta's gag from pervertedness to being absolutely terrified of women and submissive to them, to the point they find it more annoying than his old ways
would have been a funny little shift away from the usual pervert character antics -
Mineta will end up with Tsu and the fandom will become more salty than the Dead Sea.

The Tsuyu x Ochacho fandom would lose it for sure lol.

Yeah, it was Levy alright (and the other two in her group). Crucifixion style pinning to a tree, heavy bruising, and mark of the other guild on her stomach. Savage really.

That makes a lot more sense now. Thanks for the info man.

I got caught up and loved the last arc. Too bad about the unfinished art during the performance but I'm sure the anime will waste its entire budget on that anyway.

I'm just curious what it all sounds like. It was supposedly EDC style. Bakugou briefly turned into Lil' Jon with his "Let's fucking go!" at the beginning lol. But without knowing what Jirou's singing voice is like it's hard to even guess what her portion of the music would sound like. No matter what the anime should be an improvement. Plus there's plenty of filler moments they can add, it took a whole month.
-
Volume 18 omake got scanlated! More popularity poll results included.
! Twice gets no love. …Wait, Mustard? Mustard's more popular than Twice? And we get a death confirmation for Snatch, ouch.

If only I could draw.

Mineta got more votes than Mina….
Alien Queen deserves better than this.
-
Stain got placed fairly low, that just goes to show japanese readers have bad taste
-
Mirio has always been criminally underrated by the japanese fanbase.
One less vote than a character who has been on 3 pages max in the manga
Predictably for us but probably a surprise overseas nejire aint even on the list
-
I'm still surprised at how consistently well total side characters like Sero and Ojiro manage to do in these polls
Makes me wonder if Horikoshi will actually use them one day -
Stain got placed fairly low, that just goes to show japanese readers have bad taste
Probably more to do with him being out of the story for so long.
I wonder how the placements went for top 10.

Oh! This isn't a new one. I see. For some reason I lost count. And forgot this was for a volume lol.

Maybe they remembered his lame backstory in Vigilantes :P
-
I highly doubt the proportion of MHA readers that also read Vigilantes is particularly high. @CCC maybe you can correct me on this?
I don't have numbers, but I would tend to agree with that.
Shonen Jump and its series are the mainstreamest things ever. From kids loitering in conbini to old jijis on the subway - it's utterly ubiquitous. And with the MHA anime, now? It's blowing up big time.
Jump+ is basically seinen. More mature content; much smaller demographic. Vigilantes is only biweekly after being monthly for a while, with only 29 chapters so far.
So no, I don't think Vigilantes is ever going to achieve influencer status over MHA :PStain placed low, imo, because edgy/grimdark characters (whether they're villains or not) just aren't Japan's thing, in general.

Tell that to Glossy Black Sasuke Uchiha.
And Trafalgar Law.

They've got Emo and Bishounen going for them. Traits Stain lacks.
-
Stain could've had it all if only he prioritized skincare, kept his tongue in his mouth, and didn't lose that nose.
-
Stain is the most kawaii character in Macademia
-
Macadamia, the bokuest of the nuts.

Well, yeah but Naruto and Bleach were both pretty popular at their heights so they had a wider range of tastes in their fanbases.

nobody noses why Stain isn't as popular in japan

Which character has the best nose?
In my humble opinion, it's not Stain.

So, this is what Deku's old doctor been up to.
-
The thing about this kind of pool is that it asks "Who's your favorite character?" instead "How do you rate the different characters?"
Even if people had Stain or Mina like their second or third choices, that will not show up in the results.
-
The why of Mineta. huh.
-
I'm sad I can't stream hulu or crunchyroll even in Amsterdam. Still have to wait till at least Monday…
Hmmm. I disagree about people hating Mineta because they see themselves in him. He's just gross and pathetic, and yeah probably made physically weird looking to side step having two good looking pervs in class. And having Denki be basically more normal about his desires for a date. It changes the trope up a bit by having Mineta be extreme and not getting anything except that one clingy moments with Asui and Momo. I feel like maybe we are supposed to hate him. Because what he's doing is so horribly wrong lol.
-

Every time I hear people say this unironically, I feel like they're the ones projecting if anything lol
-
"I mean, come on guys, Mineta's not that bad of a character, I mean, am I the only one here who feels like there's a bit of Mineta in all of us?"
"First, yes. Second, ew."
