My Hero Academia II - A true Hero

Voted Midoriya's red shoes

Write in- Awesome Octopus Fishman Next To Jimbe on Page 17 of Ch. 624 of One Piece
(actual vote, best girl Froppy)
-
Accidentally picked Eri, whoops. Would've actually voted Jirou. She deserves more love.
But I tried to write in Robby's fishman dude just for kicks. You've been pushing him so long. I'm not even sure how they count that stuff or if they would (do they accept the random write in stuff, cause I couldn't submit it, while it automatically accepted my Eri misclick?)
-
-
Damn it I clicked accidentally on all might
-
You guys are the reason that we need 3 confirmation actions for selecting levels in DK tropical freeze.
-
I mean having 1 confirmation action is normally the norm lol
-
@Cyan:
I'm still not fully convinced that there actually is a traitor, at least not an active and conscious one.
I have actually been leaning towards a similar thought as this. Someone seemingly separate from the main class but closely tied into and liked by them (say someone like Itsuka) could be unknowingly giving out important information. Like if they had a boyfriend or girlfriend that they didn't know was in the league, but they tell everything to them like most teenagers do about every little thing. I could see this being a horrifying revelation for one of the characters later on when they find out what they have done.
-
I think Anima and Tail-guy are also candidates. Anima could easily pass information around using animals and tail-guy… having a tail can't really be his quirk, right?

Doesn't really work for the training camp when they didn't really know where they were going.

Yeah I thought about that one, and I know it doesn't work with what I remember of it at this time. Specifically, were their phones taken from them?

Nope. But the conclusion is that (from forest incident alone) it HAS to be someone in 1-A, 1-B, Aizawa, Vlad, a Pussycat, or Kota, since the location was unannounced beforehand. One of them used phone GPS to give LoV the exact coordinates in the middle of the forest. A very intentional act. Not just, "Hey boyfriend, I'm at camp in the woods. Miss u
Here's our coordinates in case you want to visit btw."
Somebody's phone could have a tracking device, I guess.

Maybe Ojiro´s tail is sentient and betrayed U.A… Wait a second, Dark Shadow has an actual mind and sense of self, maybe AFO promised it a mindless body where he would be the one in control instead of being always controlled.
Now letting aside who may be the traitor, I just hope that Hori brings back Shinsou to deal with it.

School assembly, all students and staff in the room, Shinso walks up to the mic and says "Hey how's everyone doing?", chorus of "good"s "fine"s etc., they're all brainwashed, "If you're the mole working for the villains, stand up and say 'It's me.'"

Ok so that one would be kinda of silly, but I do know that Iphones have apps like FollowMee that let you see exactly where someone is if they turn it on. It is not outside of the realm of possibility that someone could have shared that with a "friend" they thought that they had.
-
Turns out the traitor was Ragdoll playing 15th dimensional chess.

His quirk is basically a better version of Confession, the same way Overhaul and Gigantification are superior to Decay and Big Fist. They should make a league for disgruntled quirk users with shitty bootleg powers.

Damn. This would really solve everything xD (we need new/better smileys, people!)
Though not everybody would necessarily answer -

Do we know if Shinsou can brainwash more than one person at a time?

This got me thinking about the sports festival. That really was the worst idea ever. It's basically "let's show off all the up and coming hero's powers and let people figure out how to beat them."
-
@.access:

I think his whole character focus if he gets one will be on him trying to standout because everyone always seems him as boring or normal.

Oh and speaking of Brain washing quirks, the police chief has a lie detecting quirk but IIRC since he's not a hero he can't use it on the job?

Eraser Head notes in the Provisional Exam that that kind of thing is inevitable for pro heroes, so or just means UA students have to learn to cope with it sooner

Police Chief Tsuragamae (in Hosu) just has a dog head.
We don't know Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi's Quirk.
It's his sister, Makoto, who has "Polygraph." -

But maybe the chief has a good nose for crime as well
-
It is so ass backwards that only heroes can use quirks in their work.
Let's say I hire the animal talking guy for a veterinary practice, or Uraraka as a dock worker, or Recovery Girl as a paramedic or full time doctor, I'd get a "quirk license" kind of deal for these cases, but just heroes can use their quirks legally outside private property? What about when Bakugo was exploding stuff on the first chapter? He's a jerk but he's kind of a stick on the mud about rules as well.
-
but just heroes can use their quirks legally outside private property?
Even they can't all the time, technically!
Endeavor burns up a piece of paper at the end of light novel 1, and Recovery Girl scolds him for "personal use" of his Quirk.
So even heroes have to justify Quirk use in public, linking it to rescuing someone or battling a villain, I guess? -
It's sort of a wonder how Katsuki doesn't have a rap sheet a mile long full of "public use of a Quirk without a license" infractions dating from kindergarten.
-
Isn't that a little.. extreme? Like 1984 extreme?
-
Seems like everyone looks the other way most of the time, as long as it's not disturbing the peace.
Koichi in Vigilantes gets chided by a police officer once but then goes on to use his Quirk to get around all the time, forever. And he never gets ticketed/arrested -
Oh, so it's a spirit of the law rather than the letter kind of deal. I'd rather if we saw this put to the test, to get someone arrested for unlawful (and trivial) use of a quirk, just for the judge to charge the acusator for trying to harrass someone throught the law.

It will be revealed that Deku was the traitor all along
-
The narrator turning out to be evil all along
-
Next chapter will reveal that every student in 1-A is a traitor and are just unaware that the rest are traitors too.
In fact, everyone who attends or teaches at UA is a traitor.
Yes, even All Might.
Yes, even Eri.

Based on the real life story of the White House
-
I bet even Froppy is the _traitor.
That would explain why the bad guy with his jazz hands never touched her until the minute she tries to save Deku.
That and the portal guy has sent her to the lake instead of the fire room because she's part frog.
Makes you wanna think if she's really a hero?_ :ninja:

Lol. I'm sure it would be thrown out for the My Hero poll. But I actually tried pushing it through in the last OP poll. Not sure what came of that.

What is this SPOILER
Oh come on, I just started watching that show!
Spoilers man if you're going to bring up something out of context from a completely unrelated series that isn't super well known, especially if its a plot twist.

Nezu, every time someone brings up the spy at a UA faculty meeting:

Yes, even the robots.

Grid from Cyborg's body
I didn´t know that was a thing, that´s really neat.
@Cyan:
Turns out the traitor was Ragdoll playing 15th dimensional chess.
I know this a joke, but I can actually see this. Maybe Ragdoll´s quirk was tiring to have, just like Overhaul´s subordinate who has a quirk that affected his relationships with people around him (forcing people to answer truthfully) If her quirk couldn´t be turn off (like Shigaraki´s) maybe she was always getting too much information she didn´t want to know, so this would be just another person that AFO "saved" from their quirk for a small price. Hell, if Toru has self-steem issues for not being able of seeing herself, she may also be the traitor for the same reason.
Well, in both cases it depends of how their quirks work, if Ragdoll can turn her quirk off or Toru can become visible (or doesn´t have any problems with being always invisible) the theory doesn´t make sense anymore.

There was an intense discussion on the Weekly Manga Recap discord about the possibility of All for One being able to copy quirks instead of just removing them, in an attempt to explain the warping sludge quirk being used to save Dabi.
I mean, there is not enough info to say anything, and with Twice there, and quirks being kind of genetic, there are a bunch of posibilites.
-
If All for One does have the ability to copy quirks, then it's an "either copy or steal quirk" situation and not exclusively copying since he's been shown to remove mutation-type quirks altogether
-
-
isn't electro the traitor
-
Based on Shosekiranking, it looks like MHA is having yet another sale boost because of the movie.

A cute Eri comic I saw posted elsewhere. I don't know the original source, as the original post was a discord link

I could see that happening lol.
