Oh boy, Oda... the most important shit of the chapter is obviosly Oven, and some recognition to Brûlée... but also Mont D'or skill on Den Den Mushis, dat's awesome, maybe he sees the same as the snail does.

I don’t buy into the “Pudding did it” theory, but I also don’t see how they could possibly escape. Even if that isn’t the Sunny we see burning, escape still seems impossible. And what of Germa? Bege and Chiffon? How are any of them supposed to flee? These two weeks will be agonizing.
I really wish Cracker was on the Queen Mama Chanter. Just to amp up how desperate the situation is.

I expected linlin to not pass out from the cake, but I kinda thought she would immediately kill bege (yes I wrote kill) because of 900 chapters celebration. but instead we get literally every other allied wrecked and destroyed.

But yeah again this go either way. Either Pudding's doing this and were just seeing the vision as Big Mom foodgasming or…Oda's really just getting bold. I honestly hope it's the former. Forgive the complaining but I really want to finish this arc already. The land was fun and the whole bits from the forest to the Wedding was great. But then the chase came up and the cake and the back and forth and just...ugh. Yes the fight with Katakuri was kick-ass, but by this point the second half has just been draining and I want just want to move on now.
Chapter wise though, yeah not bad, gloomest Oda has been in a long time.
I honestly love this arc but ur right. Oda killed it with that long chase. He should've gave us more exposition on the others instead of those boring chase scenes.
They explicitly stated earlier in the arc that they no longer have the cola necessary to Coup De Burst.
Oda's just bold. Perhaps the damage to the Sunny isn't as bad as he made it seem, but in no way is this the work of Pudding, or Big Mom imagining it all. Hell, Pudding's not even there, and this is way out of her capabilities to begin with.

I figure Bege will just escape off-screen or be excused/punished due to Chiffon. Germa will somehow survive until we see Jajji's eyebrows and he apologizes to Sunny. Wouldn't be surprised if Jajji forces the Germa Army to defend the SH's and dies right here.

I went back to read the flashback Big Mom had. She ate the very nice birthday cake and it was so delicious that she ended up eating Mother Caramel and her friends too (wasn't implied directly).
So this time she is saying the taste is the same - is Oda trying to show a parallel here? Big Mom may actually end up still eating the whole of Tottoland and everyone around her, just like how she did during the flashback?

My best guess is that the scythe-guy is a docking-10-Version of the decuplets, since their scythes Look EXACTLY the same.
I already wrote that in the Spoiler thread, but here are more thoughts:
each Boy and Girl of them form a limb = 8/10 for arms and legs.
the big one of them forms the "trunk" (Body without head and limbs) and we saw a big one at the siblings' Meeting about the whereabouts of the SHs (with Mont dor and Nusstorte).
that leaves one Girl who forms the head. the way she could sit atop of that Body Looks exactly the same like the way one of the decuplets sat atop the big mirror at cocoa.

Some of the imagery here is tripping me out. Trying to really make sense of it all.
Good job on the Mom Pirates getting their ship together. Brûlée got the Germa killing bullets, Oven instantly roasted the Sun Pirates and the flag ship came in guns a'blazing. The threat of an emperor is still strong.
Big Mom didn't pass you(not yet anyway) but she is having her Ratatouille moment thank goodness. As flyingpanman said I wonder if there is a chance for her to eat everything and everyone around her. Don't know if I could take another one of those.
Looking forward to seeing how the crew gets out of this one. As I said a few chapters ago things were way too rosy during the latest moments of the escape. Something big and bad had to happen but man I hope the Sun Pirates are able to flee.
I think from the point BM started singing the chapter was a delusion. Oven really routed the sun pirates but everything after that is BM hallucinating. We’ll get a real conclusion next chapter.

As I slowly realized exactly what I was seeing on the last page I dropped my phone and couldn't do anything but laugh to myself and ask "What?" over and over.
Well it's been 20 long years of greatness but it looks like the journey of the Strawhats has come to an end.
I'm looking forward to seeing the epilogue chapter in the next two weeks.

I really don't want the blow dealt to the Sunny to be a hallucination. That would just undercut pretty much everything and honestly the stuff going on around Cacao Island doesn't really feel like it's being hallucinated. Even though the Straw Hats will emerge from this, I think there's plenty of potential in having the Sunny be reduced to tatters (though it won't be completely destroyed - Franky's dream is to, like Tom, make a ship that'll go all the way around the world and forcing him to make two different ships would end that dream.)
Its not a dream, we had a similar moment in this arc where people thought luffy getting stabbed was a fakeout but it turned out to be real and oda went with it. So its the same i think the sunny got massively damaged. it makes no sense for this to be a memory edit or a fakeout.
We only see the top of the sunny in flames. What if the main hull and kneel is still somewhat in tact (Repairable) undersea and the Fishman and Wadatsumi help carry it along with the straw hats to safety underwater? Maybe coat the strawhats in the coral bubbles we saw on fishman island?

I'm still waiting for Sanji's cake to do anything, though. If its sole effect is to satiate Big Mom and restore her to her former fatty self, then I say this was a bloody waste of time and all of this sea battle should have taken place right after the wedding crash some 30 chapters ago.
I'm hoping for the destroyed Sunny to be one of Nami's mirages while the actual ship is fleeing unnoticed (underwater ? Do they still have that Fishman Island coating ?), but if it's not… I can't think for the life of me how they will manage to get out of this one. Please don't make it one of those "cake turned Mama good, she lets everyone go out of her newlyfound kindness" situations.

My guess will be that sunny got damaged only on the exterior. We will see that there is going to be a hard interior that cannot be broken. What happens next only oda knows.

okay I must be crazy cause in the panel with the "BIG MOM!" text i totally seet he Sunny taking a direct hit, catching on fire, burning in the next panel and the flag of the ship on the very last panel floating at the sea. I guess I'm just seeing things or something?
