Well finally today the Memory arc started and I must say I'm impressed. Good voice acting by everyone, and no merged episodes. Just a few "death" cover ups, but they've done that all along, and it's standard of them.
I just don't know why 4Kids does decent with one show, and totally screws up another. You would think they could put the same amount of effort into everything.
Barely missed the thing thanks to the stupid new timeslot. But yeah, glad they kept most of Grandpa Muto's flashback intact. Though its obvious that bandit had a gun at the end (changed to a slingshot, oy vey. Not again. Better then the "finger of doom" I suppose). So far, so good I guess.
Get nuts or go crazy trying.

I'm reading the Memory arc manga (translated) but… only volume 1 is out... and volume 2 doesnt come out until december >__<;; (I hate manga thats in Shonen jump.. since I only buy actual volumes.. and the stuff in the magazine comes out so slowly as actual volumes..)
I'd figured 4Kids would get to the last arc I thought they had skipped some episodes of the KC Grand Prix but they didn't at least I don't don't think they did. Anyway it's still too late seeing as how some moron at 4kids decided to show GX before the end of Yu-Gi-Oh

I actually think that they did that to make more money. They have to market the cards, and the memory arc is the least card-based arc in the show, so they had to keep the kids hooked somehow. So GX is like 100% cards, so it was perfect for them.
So that brings up my other question, is GX a horrible spin-off from Japan, or is it produced in America to try to profit from the fad?

Its a spinoff in Japan, they're up to about 55 episodes..
and I must say, from what I've watched (about 10 episodes in japanese), I like it mroe than regular YGO..

It's from Japan. But it doesn't interest me. I don't watch Yu-Gi-Oh for the cards, I liked the story. GX is just a cheap way to sell cards in my opinion.
i hated the slingshot edit. XD. i hated getting up at 7 tho. as for gx i actually likin the show. ive scence the first 3 episodes in japanese and 4 in english. also i was a bit disappointed that yami yugi(i would say his real name but i dont want to give away major spoilers) didnt say ive been waiting for u siamun. insted of i have been waiting for u. also miro is there anywhere i can see fansubs (no bittorent please) i was watching the dub/fansubs at this one place but then they closed down. ;-;
GX is just as lame as Yu-gi-oh to me.

Thats why I like GX more, it focuses on dueling more than saving the world.

close in episode 17 ( i think) he duels someone with a deck close to yugis or something. and its yuki judai dammit. anyway steel crimsion if u can read japanese i have a site for you that has raws for the memory arc.

The plot makes perfect sense to me and I find it very interesting. GX is boring though. Because the duels are not even interesting at all. The 4Kids VAs can't act worth a damn, it plays like a bad sitcom, and the characters are about as interesting as cardboard cutouts.

First off, they even said it themselves…they weren't bandits...they were guides...guides who let their greed get the better of them.
Well...you only see the slingshot for about 2 seconds and it does make sense how Grandpa is able to GET UP and walk after that. If he was shot, it'd be a tad harder
