Leo actually looks adorable in his pirate garment, so hoping that's staying. Only the sword has to go because his needle is the only acceptable weapon.
So, I liked Flanbé. Just like with Bavarois, I am curious to see as many of the Charlotte kids as possible. With 85 of them, it is impossible for every one to be relevant to the plot, so I don't mind if they only join for a quick participation.
Sadly, her presentation turned Sanji into a consummate pedophile as she is the 33rd daughter at 15 years and Pudding is the 35th. The only reason why I am not seriously bothered by Oda making a 21yo man who happens to be one of the main characters being completely aroused by a kid that is 14 years at best is because I am holding my hopes that Flanbé's introduction box is wrong (either she will be older in the volume or she will be rectified to be the 36th).
No mention of Zeus by Linlin in this chapter makes me feel like he may be allowed to stay with the SH. And I can't put a finger on what relevance the BMP finding out about the Tamatebako at this point could have…

Christ, another break ? Meh
Nice chapter though. I appreciate that Luffy is slowly but steadily improving yet still being beaten to a pulp. Also, Big Mom's final-wrath-Prometheus really conveys how much she was fooling around until now.
My only complaint is on fangirl-sister - it's a nice touch to have reinforcements backing Katakuri, but when and how did she even enter the mirror world if Luffy has held Brulee captive all along ? Her only part this chapter was hype and exposition, which Katakuri handles just fine on his own. She feels like another of those last-minute characters Oda pulls out of thin air to spice up things. -
That cover page, on the cliff there is "FL…" and it looks familiar....
Leo's crew are still in Dressrosa. So instead of setting out to sea, they are helping in the rebuilding. (Why does that not surprise me from these adorkable dwarves?) Isn't that the Flower Hill that was altered by Pica?yes it is.

Just by putting on a pirate hat Leo became ten times better. I want to see a dwarf crew so bad now.
I'm happy Luffy isn't suddenly overpowering Katakuri, instead slowly working his way there. It's not often you see power-ups grow like this, in the present on page.

Actually, maybe to relate Neptune to BM's murder attempt.
I was adamant about the SH facing BM again (can't be a main antagonist again because too much time invested into her now for us to get another arc about bringing her down, but at the same time she is too big to be reduced to a side arc antagonist), but we know the SH we'll go back to FI at some point because of Shyarly's prediction. If we are going to repeat the scenario for an arc, maybe we could repeat the antagonist again - and if the BMP believe Neptune was part of the plot to kill Linlin, it would make sense for them to attack FI.

Between this and Big Mom's unresolved issues with the giants at Elbaf, there's a lot of potential here, assuming that's what Oda intends on doing in the future. As for the prediction, I find it interesting that one of the BM Pirates can transform into other people. Though I doubt Big Mom would be that underhanded I suppose. Actually wait, no, same woman tried to trick and kill the Vinsmokes, so anything goes I guess. I don't know about them actually meeting in Fishman Island though.

I'm surprised at all the mistakes Oda is making with the daughters numbers. First Praline, now Flambe. I refuse to believe Flambe is older than Pudding, because Pudding's design is not how he draws 13-14 year old girls (just look at Flambe, younger Baby 5 or younger Koala). Also, he wouldn't have a 14 year old get married in a manga for kids when the legal age for marriage is 16 in Japan.

I was surprised to see Smoothie nowhere to be found. I meant… Yeah. So, nice chapter, but slow pacing again. Good to see Luffy develop his base form capabilities on screen. Good to see Big Mom stopped fooling around. Good to see the cake arrive just in time. Good to see there is no break next week. Wait, what? Noooo

It is still something i find amusing that in a crisis they by and large just chill.

Maybe Oda hadn't made a mistake with the age and the numbers. Maybe It is intentional. And maybe the half blood of Pudding has something to do with it, maybe she looks older for that…, but probably It is simply a mistake XD, so don't take so seriusly.

This is it! Sanji's time to shine. And not talking about cake, drop that for a second, the danger here is BALL OF FIRE. Same as nami was able to control zeus because he cloud, sanji will shine now by controling this ball of fire prometheus. And get to keep him at the end, just like nami.

Btw, prediction time: I hope Sulong Pekoms actually looks like a salary-man who is just as small and even chubbier than his regular form, but with a bald spot at the back of his head… all that while being ridiculously strong.Also, it's been night for hours now and the sea is still in its regular state. I wonder if Oda forgot about Totto Land's sea freezing at night and what was the point in introducing that information anyways.

I'd say this specific phenomenon only occurs near those islands that have sugary /sirupy / caramel rivers flowing out - ingredients that will solidify at higher temperatures than water anyway. Anywhere else I guess the night is cold but not enough to into full polar pack ice mode. Also, in today's comic specifically, I would say anything likely to freeze would probably be melted by Prometheus. On the Sunny front at least.
Point of that information ? Probably just to add an extra exotic flavor to the sailing in Tottoland.

It's not the breaks but the slow pace that hurt it. Based on '' wano in 2017'' and '' this arc is more then half done'' way back, this would be some punk hazard long arc, but now it slowly turns into another dressrosa, as in the most criticized arc.

So Charlotte Flambe has a bubblegum fruit yeah? If so, that’s kind of cool. I feel like it would be related to Luffy and Katakuri’s fruits. It seems to allow her to blow herself up like Luffy, but maybe her bubblegum is light enough to keep her in the air, while Luffy’s rubber is too heavy.

So apart from the obvious mistake in Flambe's birth order, we get some interesting info from her. She says there are 41 brothers and 38 sisters in total. The totals were original 46 and 39, so we know there are 5 dead Charlotte brothers. Snack is probably one of them, and possibly Moscato and Opera, but they could be fine based on the way they "died." The unaccounted for daughter is probably just Lola, since she's been disowned.
Reading it again though the way she phrases it, she could also just mean she has 41 older brothers and 5 younger brothers. That would be less interesting.
If Flambe's birth order is put after Pudding's, it also means there are at best only 3 sisters that can be younger than 15, and we saw more than that in the nursery. I guess that means some could be grand kids.

Not sure I like the direction Oda is going with, with developing Luffy's Observation. But it's not like that alone should be enough to "clobber" Dogtooth.

Flanbé's mistake aside I felt like this chapter was fairly decent.
But the pacing is still just so bad lol.

She says she has 40 older brothers, but for sure there are others younger than she is (Anglais, for example). She is probably not interested in the opinion of the kids, that's why she doesn't mention the younger brothers' votes.
As for the daughters, agree she is probably leaving Lola out.

Yeeeah Flambe's birth order threw me for a loop there haha. I mean MAYBE Oda can justify Pudding being a 15 yr old triplet or a 14 year old, but it'd feel better if it's changed. Though we probably did already see four daughters younger than Pudding, in Chapter 845, so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Otherwise this was an alright chapter. Great to see the Luffy vs. Katakuri fight again, wonder when Luffy is going to turn the tides

I am in love this week with the "Believing in Me" panel! Especially since it involved Mr. "You do what you alone can do, and I'll do what only I can do" himself, Sanji! Both are covered with "bruises", signifying that they're both working their butts off for the rest of their crew, just in wildly different directions. Superb visual storytelling!
Great chapter all around! I love how everyone is having to acknowledge how freaking persistent Luffy is. They are slowly starting to understand why they should fear him :-D

Pudding under 14 I would find quite disturbing. Physically she hasn't been portrayed like this at all plus it makes Sanji's willingness to court & marry her rather creepy from a modern-day perspective.
From a character point of view, however, her being rather young could fit better some of her interactions with her family, such as when she's annoyed by her mother's constant attention, Daifuku looking down on her like some inept kid after she fails to murder Sanji, or even how intense she is in her love/loathe episodes. -

Concur and unless she has some big part it looks like she has really screwed things up more than helping. Now everyone is questioning the age of Pudding, although looking at her unless her dad is 6'7 she is way to tall to be any younger than 18. She is the same height and proportions to a grown woman in OP.

Are you thinking after Wano arc they go back to FI and face BM because she wants to go personally and let them know she won't tolerate such disrespect?

Even if Luffy release Gear 100, this is nothing to a pre-cog. At this level, Haki is the way forward.

Yeah no i've done a whole 180 on Capone. I thought he was going to be the dud out of the supernovas but man if he hasn't shown himself to be 100% top shelf Oda greatness. The panel of them celebrating the cake in this chap just cinched it for me.
