I'm fine with this. Since I still do watch show when I can on Adult Swim.

I just got into watching the show this week, so this is VERY ironic.
There a lot of great episodes in the series that still makes me laugh.
I love King of the hill, but I'm not into this idea. They had 13 seasons and the last episodes were released less than a decade ago, so a revival feels unnecessary.
I think they kind of said… EVERYTHING they had to say with the characters already. By the later seasons they were really running on fumes.
Unless they were going to finally age Bobby up and move all the characters forward a little, I just can't see the point.
Just because a show was good doesn't mean it needs to come back. Look at Family Guy. That was fun, cancelled, came back, turned into cancer, and now won't go away.
Futurama was cut short but its multiple comebacks worked out.... it ultimately got juuust about the right ammount of material. It was wearing thin by its ending too, but still overall solid.
In general 100 episodes is enough for any series, unless things keep changing and moving forward and new characters keep coming in and old ones leaving to change dynamics.. and even then a decade is about as much as you can get out of something and have it still be good generally.
King of the Hill, IMO, is the best of the adult cartoons. Even though I think Futurama was maybe a slight bit funnier (KoTH certainly has a case, though), I felt like it changed quite a bit when it returned and lost a lot of its humor. That's why I'm scared. Would KoTH also receive a tone change? It just seems like revivals never are quite the same.
I'd agree to a King of the Hill with the cast aged up. But with no Luanne it's kinda sad. I wonder how they would explain her absence.
But I think it'd be a bit too much of politics. Hank lost it over George W Bush having a weak handshake. Can you imagine his reaction to Trump?

I think that would be the only reason to DO the show now.
They missed the Obama administration entirely, and even American Dad barely tackled that outside of one episode.
