The big about dragons is fascinating info. I also like the connection being made between the big horned skull outside Punk Hazard (and on its warning signs) and Kaido. Had a feeling for a while that similarity was something important. Can't wait to see where it all goes.

What I'm really waiting to find out is how the ancient giants play into all of this. Especially if there's a connection between them and dragons, as I'm now inclined to believe.
Believe me Giants have one of the most important roles in the One Piece World. Oda has saved Elbaf for the last. I once made a theory in which I talked about Giants role. It should be still on the blog I guess.

What are your thoughts on not just elbaf giants, but the ancient giants like Oars and his descendants? Oars Jr's Vivre Card suggested they were a separate species to the regular ones, and the skull with Kaido-like horns on Punk Hazard the dragons section of the magazine mentions is definitely ancient giant size, and I've been hotly anticipating payoff to that little set of details for a while. Moreso now that dragons apparently factor in.

The Giants of Elbaf are surely different from the species of Oars. I think Oars Species are predecessor's of the current giants, Oars don't have a speech like the current gians but the body structure is somewhat similar but bigger and they look more monstrous. Or maybe they are just different species entirely. But they should have some connections.
Now about the Dragon skull mark on Punk Hazard, the first time I saw Kaidou's Dragon form, I mentioned this in my review too that Kaido's dragon form was identical to Momo's. In the magazine it is mentioned that Momo ate artificial devil fruit made by Vegapunk and they are also hinting that it was made based on Kaidou's Devil fruit. So could it be that Veagpunk was trying to create a dragon devil fruit to rival Kaidou's??? OR
This is a theory i thought up years ago, that Kaidou's Devil fruit is also a artificial one and it was also made by Vegapunk and Kaidou was a Guinea Pig of Vegapunk but then he went Rogue.
Another interesting thing is about Celestial Dragons, surely they are fond of Dragons and maybe they ordered Vegapunk to make a artificial DRAGON devil fruit.
Still none of the things explain exactly why the mark was used in PH. -

I'm not sure i accept that he has the highest. I can understand why his would be higher than the others on the count of him having been part of the Roger pirates.
Dragon on the other hand is called the World's worst criminal/Most wanted man in the world and as such should have the highest bounty of anyone in the series currently.

Yeah I think the same about them. Also in my theory Giants also had connections to Wano and Kozuki Clan. And they were the ones who took the Poneglyphs and spreaded them all over the world on behalf of Raftel's Kozuki Clan.

Still none of the things explain exactly why the mark was used in PH.See, I also thought previously the gigantification experiments taking place at Punk Hazard and the ancient giant skull there, not just on the sign, but the physical one in the fire area, and their obvious connection to Kaido and his nigh-invulnerability suggest he was part of ancient-giant-making super soldier project (Big Mom freed him, hence his debt to her, and possibly Sakazuki tried to stop his escape, hence the scar on his side that's a suspicious match for Luffy's chest wound), but the inference that Momo's artificial fruit was based on Kaido's powers throws that into question. If he was created for the project, why give him the fruit. If he had the fruit before, why not kill him for it, given how important it would have to be to the people who style themselves as Celestial Dragons. It doesn't feel right they'd throw that power away on an experiment. Kaido's power seems too real and perfect next to the Smiles and Momo's prototype fruit to be artificial in my mind.
(and for another suggestion about the mark being used there, I think the WG and the ancient giants have some history. Oars had a fluer de lis-like symbol on his clothing that matched the ones carved into the walls in the straw hat room under Mariejoa. But it's hard to say what that connection could be or why they're possibly trying to make ancient giants while saying they're only trying to make regular giants without making a ton of extrapolations, and again, that was the theory before dragons were explicitly connected to both groups)
This kind of puzzle is exactly why I love One Piece. It gives us so much to unpack.

Really curious about the dragon, Evil Giant and Kaido correlation. Punk Hazard clearly left some things out like why those prisoners were frozen, the Evil Giant skull and symbols and the idea that devil fruits reincarnate to close to the previous user.
Id be awesome if that arc and Wano really paved ways to Vegapunk and what it all actually means

Oh, it definitely will! We are getting ever closer to Vegapunk and the references to him have become more abundant lately. First with Punk Hazard as a whole, then with Smoker and Tashigi visiting him to treat the kids, recently with Ryokugyu and Fujitora talking about visiting him too, just before the Reverie/Levely/wtv, and then with Orochi demanding Vegapunk to CP0, in return for the weapons. It's been a long time coming, but I feel we are getting there soon(TM). I bet Wano will lead directly into a Vegapunk-related storyline, even if it's without the Straw Hats at first. I haven't given much thought to how it is going to happen, but I feel it coming.

Yeah! Another thing to note is that Smoker and Tashigi were still on their way to Vegapunk with the kids post-Dressrosa (Chapter ~800), and still were not seen during the whole Reverie event, where nearly every other important Marine we know were participating at it . It seems very likely that the next arc we get those 2 in are a Vegapunk related arc where they are central to the story again. So many things are pointing to vegapunk appearing soon like you have mentioned:
- Fujitora commenting on his new weapons
- Kuma's status as a WG slave and his relationship as a pacifista, also Bonnie needing focus.
- Sabo actually getting Kuma back. If it didnt happen, its also possoble the Revolutionaries are a focus in a Vegapunk arc
- Orochi demanding Vegapunk overall
- The possibility of Kaido being related to Oars's species and Punk Hazard experimenting on those types of Giants and Kaido's dragon devil fruit. He's a "thing"/creature with horns like them and apparently not human.
- Hell, Kaido's island (Onigashima) seems like it was made out of the head of a previous content puller (an incomprehensibly huge one)
- Smoker/Tashigi needing updates in the story/as well as Sentoumaru
- All of the other punk hazard related mysteries.
- CP-0 getting a huge amount of focus in every arc (pointing to a possible CP-0 vs. Revolutionaries plotline soon, either with Vegapunk or the end of series)
Seriously think Vegapunk's arc is next or after Elbaf (but both need to happen). Rox is also another major storyline thats building up. Oda being "almost done" is kinda funny when you think about it
