The way he/she draws Sanji looks a little odd, judging by that one panel where he's looking down.

atrocious pacing but the art looks pretty good. Brulee sounds older than Big Mom's voice actress lol
Guys does the voice actor of brulee is same as Sentomaruu?
Animation quality lately is getting me really excited for the upcoming fights.
Singing parts were the best part, and the art was still pretty spot on. Pacing was off and on but nothing really out of the ordinary. Brulee is appropriately creepy in this
Also the Sanji/Yonji scene was a bit of implied canon given that they did fight, only it was never shown on panel.
I didn't expect the reveal of the woods' true nature to be done through song, so that was a definite highlight. The episode covered more than I thought it would too; Brulee's voice was alright. Less cackly than I had imagined, but still alright.
Sadly though I had much bigger hopes for the little clash between Carrot and Randolph since it should've been very quick and snappy but then they put two of the weaker directors on it and…blah. I still wonder how that hat came off. Come to think of it, how does Carrot wear her hats? Does she put holes in them or does she just cram them over her head and her ears magically pop out? Why does this give me pause when Chopper's been doing the same thing for almost twenty years? ...hmm, sounds like an SBS question in the making.
The preview, and more importantly the little action cut within, looks decent, so here's hoping for a good debut for the show's latest animation director.
I feel like One Piece generally sucks at adapting action sequences. We get a few good scenes here and there, but generally it's nothing compared to shows like Shippuden.

While it may be hard to imagine me saying this given what a visual disaster it started out as, but One Piece could take some tips from Dragon Ball Super when it comes to pulling off more minor, intermittent action scenes.

What's wrong with Carrot's voice? It's appropriate and fitting and hardly off putting.
While the pacing was meh these couple episodes, keep in mind the source material chapters were considered the lower point of the arc as things only get better from here on out. So they didn't really have much to adapt from this time around other than running around in the woods.

It's really, really high-pitched. It gets annoying. It feels like her voice belongs in some kind of harem show.
The forest song was good, but the whole episode felt quite sluggish and uninteresting. I wonder if the song will be included in the upcoming CD.

This was an atmosphere-building episode, which fits with the content it covers. However, I do agree that they did a pretty lackluster job with it, especially compared to the excellent atmosphere building they did with Cacao Island and the sea of Totto Land, with a lot of reused shots that got more boring than mysterious after a while. I am liking some of the pacing choices they're making though, such as doing the Randolph encounter in one go and making Pound's initial appearances more centralized. I did enjoy the homies singing (which was in the manga, but not really noticeable as only musical notes in the speech bubbles indicated it). Though the scene where Randolph first ambushes the team was animated extremely poorly. Liked Brulee a lot.

Probably resembles some real-world flag.
It looks like the Norway flag in design, but they could have just changed the colors and in all probability, it was meant to resemble the old German iron cross anyway.

I do have to agree there, comparing to the overall design of the locale in the anime. Thriller Bark also had more of an atmosphere in the anime when they first set foot and went on the carriage and these woods should have more of a mood than they do in this episode, though it is partially rectified by the music direction of the song bits.

Her voice really isn't that high pitched compared to a few other characters that have been on this show. I mean it fits her character. A deep voice wouldn't work for her.
The Seducing Woods can only be salvaged so much since they were crap in the manga as well. Personally I think the anime did what they can with them and the music was a nice touch. The repeated running was annoying and the gags were boring, but again, all of that was from the source material this time. Oda's great and all but once in a while he does put out a boring chapter and this was one of those, which the anime makes worse with its one chapter per episode pacing.
Next episode should be a lot better I think.
I can tolerate Carrot's voice - she rarely if ever has scenes of extended dialogue.

Also, what do you mean by the Seducing Woods being crap? These are introductory scenes, yes, but I liked the location. It helped build up the Big Mom Pirates' threat level. An anime watcher in particular doesn't know the secret behind Randolph or the talking trees yet.
The Seducing Woods looks nice and some of the events it introduces are good, but let's face it. The location served as a way to stall for time with them running around for several chapters while Sanji deals with his family. It's a minor complaint but IMO it's the weaker part of an overall great story arc.

But it worked in that capacity though - it showed that Big Mom wasn't sitting down when it came to dealing with the Straw Hats' intrusion. It wasn't some random event like Nola or the crew getting trapped between buildings.
Seducing woods could have had a bit more atmosphere to them.
Overall one of the most forgetful episodes, at least for this arc.
