It was at least moderately successful even if its the weakest of their collabsBakuman's always going to be special to me though.

Bakuman got just a little in your face about burning your entire life away in an industry that has high risk and barely rewards you for success though.
Platinum end was a mess, the new comedy manga just isn't that great. Not to downplay the mastery that the duo has on their craft but Death Note was leagues above anything after. -

at first i thought they'd put kid usopp with kid luffy but those are two different scenes lol

Whenever I see Banchina's name, it's odd because I rarely see it. Her name's been around for over 1000 chapters and I know the name of Sanji, Nami, and Robin's mothers more.

I think she's only in the one chapter for just a few panels. Olvia and Sora are both in more chapters and Sora's name is easy to remember since it coincides with the Vinsmoke comic. -
wow I won't even be able to remember her name at gunpoint I just remember her as Usopp's mum but I can mention Zeff, Bellemere, Sora, and Koushirou off the bat. Okay maybe I lied about Koushiro (it's just Zoro's teacher in my mind) but you get the point.

All the kid actors will be competing to outdo each other in traumatic flashbacks. Usopp and Zoro's flashbacks are just awkward. Dad abandoning him and Zoro's friend dying from falling down the steps.
I'd easily put Nami and Sanji over Luffys'.

I don't know, it's hard to explain lol. It feels kinda desperate, but that could be just the vibes i get because i don't believe that the show succeeds.
But let me tell you, all that OMG ALL THE ACTORS ARE LIKE THEIR SW ROLES THIS ISN'T AN ENGINEERED PR STUNT NO WAY stuff has been really unintentionally comical.

A friend of mine got to see the live action series. Not a One Piece fan but says it's surprisingly good and for what it's worth say's not a live action Cow Boy Bebop. I don't know what that means.
I'm hopeful.

Nothing against Oda, but I don't really factor ratings, reviews, or the messaging/marketing from creatives involved. Just the trailer and the 1st episodes to see if its worth continuing. Just as much as anything else, i'll be fair.

03:13 Aww Usopp and Nami holding hands! I always loved their relationship as the two "normal" people on the crew.
This honestly looks so good to me. Even if there will turn out to be some flaws, I'm honestly amazed that they seem to have managed to create an adaptation that actually captures the look and feel of the original East Blue saga so well. I hope so much that they will be rewarded for their efforts with a second season order!
