I voted for you because you were scummy, plain and simple. I knew it wasn't likely to end in a lynch but it needed to be strongly stated. And as you may have noticed, I did switch my vote, so yes I did consider changing it.I noticed this too. I mentioned that Huschel and Shinobu might be in cahoots based on Shinobu's distractions and Huschel's light defense of such but that's not the only possibility. Huschel might have innocent sympathy for someone who doesn't pick up on all the rules, or maybe Huschel is cozying up to Shinobu to earn his trust. Hard to say.
That said, I 100% believe Huschel, if mafia, would bus Shinobu. It's a common tactic to create separation between scum, and Huschel needed to remain consistent with his earlier stance of favoring a lynch. I don't think it should be considered evidence disproving their potential guilt.
**On the other hand, I find mafia more willing to strongly defend someone they know to be town. So if people are finding Huschel scummy because of this, then it's likely that Shinobu is in fact innocent.At this point I'd much rather lynch le crys then Shinobu or Shuhan. She hasn't showed in about 4 real time days and I'm not sold on the other two. That being said I'm willing to switch as we absolutely cannot go another day without a lynch.****

My reason for needing to eliminate an inactive is that it doesn't just jeopardize that last vote, it makes achieving a lynch in every vote before then more difficult too. Suppose we lynch someone else today- tomorrow we'd still need 5 votes to achieve a lynch, among seven active players. If we stumble across a mafia and try to achieve a lynch, all five remaining forest members would need to be unanimously for it in order to succeed. Given how much hesitation and disagreement there's been so far, I'm no confident we could do it.

Sure, it works out in theory, but that requires perfection. In addition to crys's absence, we've had Kitsune's availability be inconsistent, SUDK be in late-day reactiveness by timezones, and Shinobu being too timid to vote at all over the course of the game. I don't like those odds.
Speaking of playing to not lose, Shinobu needs to actually push against other players. At the risk of metagaming, his very passive behavior is extremely similar to his behavior last game where he was guilty. We can't win if everyone isn't actively trying to find scum.

As the long day neared its end, frustrations continued to grow at the apparent lack of action over the last night and day. Fingers were pointed, accusations were made, votes were placed and rescinded. Finally, the residents of the forest, reaching the limits of their patience, turned their axes on Shuhan, hacking and swinging away. When their bloodlust was satiated, the residents stepped back to examine their work. What did they find there?
! Shuhan was a Tree, and part of the Forest. He won when only Forest-aligned players were left alive. After he was lynched by his fellow players, he was reduced to his current state of a Tree Stump. He can still talk to the other residents of the forest here in this thread, but cannot place a vote and is not counted as a member of the Forest for endgame purposes.

Once again, you all stood around as the night went on. You thought about the brutal act you all just committed, swinging your branches like axes at Shuhan until he was nothing but a stump. It's too late to think about it though, as I've already built a wooden pillar on top of his stump, using the wood his body provided to us.
There are two things that this pillar can be used for. A signpost that says "nature trail this way", or the beginning of a series of barriers in a parking lot for a new shopping mall. Your actions in the days ahead will determine what this pillar will be used for, so tread carefully.

"He never gave his thoughts on everybody's reactions" was in reference to him wanting to see people's reactions to a no-lynch stance, and not delivering on this. In the second sentence, I meant to say that Shuhan ignored his own actions on D1 due to his 'suspicion' on Shinobu.
I guess it's not relevant now, but clarification is nice. -

Alright so as much as I'd love to policy lynch crys right now, that reckless act actually convinces me that she isn't mafia. Both Jabs and Space made it clear they would be back to hammer if needed, so there would have been no reason for a mafia to do something so damning.

Which arguably makes it worse. We just spend 18 hours waiting for a response and we got none.
No discussion about other suspicions went on. Easy for the mafia to just wait like everyone for the elephant in the room to show up.Besides that, we're going for 7 players, 4 majority. It doesn't matter if we can catch the arsonists if we can't ensure that they get voted off.

Assuming that two people have been primed for ignition and we lynch somebody today. If the targets get ignited next night we'll be left with 5 players, plus probably a stump. I don't think the arsonists will go for that but it's possible. Either way, yes, we can still afford a mislynch but it's all very precarious. I'd actually also prefer a Kitsune lynch over crys but either one is fine. For now:

That's L-1 on LC and what's looking like a pretty wasted day. I'd be ok with a Kitsune lynch if people would prefer, but I really don't see anything suggesting he's any scummier than LC.
Possible explanations from her behavior:
1. Arsonist, either not being involved enough to bother appearing innocent or confident enough in our inertia/second-guessing to bet we won't lynch her anyway.
2. Tree, possibly looking to get/appear more involved (evidently unlikely), thinking we needed her help for a lynch and not bothering with much context, or doing it just for the lulz.
Four of those five are actually plausible, and of those four three are imo reason enough to lynch.
