Hello. I'm starting to get concerned. You see, I've developed this itch, you might call it, in the back of my mind. I keep thinking that three of my friends are being perfectly kind to me in person, but are in reality secretly plotting my demise. I'm getting suspicious of everyone that I talk to, and I keep having this sudden urge to vote, although I've already submitted my ballot for the presidential election. It's perplexing.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? Please help.

How I long for that distant horizon. For a safe haven where I can live each day in peace, and someday forget about this compulsion to lynch my friends and compatriots.

But it always seems just out of reach.

Have these downtimes been frequent? I feel like half the times I tried to come here lately have been during one.

We could always use one of the alternatives (zeta boards?) if there's a risk another one comes around.

I have no plans of running a game right now. I'll gladly join Kirby's.

Thank you for the warning. I was planning to treat it like a roleplay, sorta like D&D honestly.

I'm putting together a new format of Mafia games: Mafia Roulette.

I love the Mafia community on this forum. The amount of creativity that goes into developing unique new game mechanics is incredible, but as fun as it is to keep things fresh, maybe its time to revisit these old ideas. Each game of Mafia Roulette will take 1-3 mechanics from past games and give them a chance to shine again. We'll be revisiting the oldest games first and adding in newer mechanics each game.

I also want to make this format available to anyone who wants to use it, but that leaves an enormous task ahead of me: I need to write detailed descriptions of every single mechanic we've ever introduced. Mechanics weren't always clearly or fully explained, so that means a lot of digging through past games. It's doable, but don't expect a Roulette thread anytime soon.

There's just one problem: The ZetaBoards games.

I remember some of them, but there are still four I need help with.

Three happened after I left AP and are more recent: Dungeon Crawl, Exoplanet Explorer, and Battleship Voyage.

And the fourth is one that I forgot: Mafia XIII: Databook Black by Harvardy.

I'm hoping some of you can help me out with descriptions of the mechanics in these games.

Well I wasn't really active when those games were being played, so can't help you with the descriptions. But, what you can do is use the wayback machine to access the defunct websites, including zetaboards . Here are the links I found.

A bit of warning, these archives are painfully slow to navigate, so I highly recommend using multiple tabs otherwise you might be inclined to jump out of something.
