It's Nitric Acid basically.
Dr. Stone

Yeesh, that guy is next level evil. Let's see if their forces respect him as they did Tsukasa. If not, this will blow up in his face pretty soon.
-
It's the rules of shonen. When an enemy that is stronger than the main characters has a change of heart they either have to leave or die.
-

It's payback time, motherfucker.
-
Nice end battle for this arc, sure a tag-team to fear.
-
Dont know how to feel about this tbh, feels like the show is leaving its comfort place a little
-
Tsukasa shouldn't make promises he can't keep. I hope they don't wave away his serious injury (like bandages in One Piece). I want at least a couple chapters dealing with his wounds.
-
Antagonists are dropping like flies. Hope that's not a sign the manga's wrapping up.
-
This manga doesn't really have any need of a permanent antagonist. Afterall, there's no way it was an external force that caused the mass petrification.

I wouldn't say there was no way it's not possible. Actually it seems more likely someone did cause it. Bio weapon gone haywire sort of thing.
Or do you mean like aliens or something?

Or do you mean like aliens or something?
I meant that, yes.
The title of this manga is "Dr. Stone". From that my deduction is that a test of a experiment researchers were conducting to create a cure for all illness went out of control.
-
A non evil accident. This is the first time that I've heard that one, but I like it.
-
Again, this manga's one…I don't want to say weakness, but major quirk?...is that it doesn't let things marinate at all. Tsukasa has gone from main villain to rescue arc in, what, five chapters? I'm all for a redemption for his character--it's shounen--but this is reeeeeall quick.
-
Why marinate when you can just tenderize instead?
I, for one, am totally on board for solving the main mystery of the story.
-
Big stony news coming next Monday:
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/daily-briefs/2018-11-11/dr-stone-manga-has-important-announcement-on-november-19/.139259And apropos of nothing, I'm reposting that neat PV they made in September:
-
So it's either an anime or a mobile game? I could see some sort of Doodle God-esque RPG working well for the series.
-
Gotta say I did not expect Senku to try and save Tsukasa that way. Like the call to the seniors left behind, a tender moment. Be funny if all they revive are manga artists, comedians, musicians. One thing we don't or may never get from this point on is serious reactions to revived people learning its been thousands of years since getting stoned. That's a huge thing to wrap your head around, especially if basically your friends and family are dead.
-
Sounds like the anime got announced. I'm really excited! Apparently Yuusuke Kobayashi (Subaru for Re:Zero) will be voicing Senku. I'm guessing more details for Jump Festa
-
Would be cool if they do a Simuldub when it comes.
-
next chapter already out at Jaimini.
aaannndd, it's confirmed anime at July 2019 -

The next arc seems really cool.
-
Did they just talk about the science of Super Mario's Super Mushroom?
-
Tsukasa is screaming internally in that page.
-
Tsukasa is looking like Han Solo
-
I know the series has done it plenty of times, but it feels like it yadda yadda'd the creation of a heat pump that strong extra hard.
Anyways, I'm always down for exploration!
-
Wait, what? No one complaining about cryogenic (or whatever is spelled) sleep being a more of fiction rather than hard science stuff??
Glad to see adventure in my science mango, hope the thing leads them to Antartica… Africa is also an option to me.
-
@Shobu:

Nah, I don't like it too. It's just that the author did a good enough job with the execution that it wasn't too bad. That and it's another good reason for them to set sail.
-
I'm just rationalizing it like this. Any damage done by the cryogenic process will be repaired through the depetrification process anyway.
-

That was Tsukasa's point of view. May not really be what the mangake really meant.
-
Sailing to the other side of the world is a huge task. Even if they make an engine. The boat will have to be huge and it'll take months. Man, I hope we see a One Piece reference next chapter.
-
I'm assuming we will see the return of the Gorilla Tank in some form again with the Boat/Sub/Plane that is gonna get built. They keep mentioning it and I guess it will ultimately become the Mech that takes them into Space.
-
I really hope that they don't unfreeze humanity in one go. That would lead to untold death and destruction. Mainly by suffocating those who got burried, and then exposure of the naked people. And then hunger.
-
A bunch of idiots in one place chapter.

All women are queens!
-
God, I love this manga. One problem after another, but in the best way possible.
-
This post is deleted!
-
New guy seems like a very fun character and should be a welcomed addition to the crew. I'm hyped for the sailing around the world arc/adventure
-
With oil, their science hacking will go through the roof.

Oh boy
-
To be honest, I thought they're going to look for the oil residue from every gasoline station that exists from their past.
-
five thousand years, Gasoline has a lifetime of months if exposed to air.

Ha, that last page is one of the reasons I love this series.

Maybe the finalized loom?
-
I'm starting to think Dr. Stone is well ahead of everything else (sans One Piece) in Jump by a mile.
-
Dr. Stone is back at its best. That final panel was absolute glory xD
-
Yes yes yes yes, Ora Ora coture and the greed plan was magestic.
-
-
I'm kinda surprised they didn't have the ability to make cloth or looms before. It's hard to tell with this art. But I didn't think everyone was wearing leather…
