They got depetrified and then either complied or got killed/abandoned in the stone world alone. They hardly fought anyone since they had no idea Senku was alive.
I also doubt that that many people enjoy seeing Tsukasa with a mean to revive other people but prefering murdering them instead.

This story sometimes reminds me of a simple game I used to play. I think it was little alchemist or something. But you started off with the basic elements and had to combine them in different ways to gain more types of life and man made things. Even in the early stages you could make cars and electricity lol.
So dumb that the standars and practices probably commanded them to put the only one with a drivers permit on the wheel, in a lawless post-post-apocalyptic future.

That's the point I'm making, the authors go out of the way to make sure their characters never drink, drive and triple for drink and drive, but have seemingly zero oversight on showing 16 y/o being molested by tentacles, or whatever to 12y/o.

Tentacle stuff aside… I don't think that it's necessarily wrong to explore sexuality in a comic meant for children (seeing as we old folks are following it as well). I'm not extremely well versed on this subject, so forgive me if I'm seeming insensitive or monstrous, because maybe there's something truly awful about Japanese children's comics that I'm not privy to. But I wouldn't call Dr. Stone inappropriate, at least not when compared to what you can find in your standard clothing catalogue or trash mag.
Fair enough, also I've been focusing on the "please think of the children" aspect, but there is a weird aspect to start pushing for the "sex sells" angle to that demographic. And while yeah there are raunchier things easily available, named THE INTERNET, that's no reason to say "fuck it!" And let anything in a publication targeted to 12 years old.
What I'd truly want is to keep the fan service on characters 18+, to start.
And for underage drinking, there are a lot of examples of them about to make a toast and say "oh this is just fruit punch" or "I'll just pretend to drink" or most underage drunks are "oh they are just drunk in the head". Granted this is from scenes and series less than 15 years ago, before things were more lax, as I seem to remember kid goku or gohan having a trip, but more recent works always lampshade the booze.
