One Piece Holiday Schedule

So most folks might not know but Jump is going on break for the week of December 18. Here's the schedule for the holiday break which is a departure from previous years.

So that's the schedule for Jump during the break the official release dates are set in stone but the unofficial ones can fluctuate for a multitude of reasons so we'll see what happens there.

Someone can feel free to correct me with archives if I am wrong, but my impression is very strongly that the "3-week break" has always historically been a direct result of mangastream (and others, a long long time ago) getting the christmas chapter a week early (so, uh, some time between nowish and saturday) and the post-new-year's chapter "on time" instead of early. I don't remember Jump ever intentionally making a two-consecutive-week-absence in those years.

So we'll find out in the next couple of days whether we're going to have 2 shorter breaks or one longer break?

You're right, my bad . I just checked last year official releases (monday) schedule:

• 12 - 21 - 2015
• 01 - 04 - 2016
• 01 - 18 - 2016

There were 2 breaks, but with a release between them, so it was indeed just mangastream.

It depends on Jump's shipping. Last year, we got Chapter 810 on December 17th (official release: December 21st), and then 811 on December 26th (official release: January 4th).

A 2.5 week break depending on the timing, but yeah, everything should go back to normal mid January.
