I never heard of Black Cat, but from what I saw over at Wikipedia, it seemed delightfully average. Then again, it could be the fault of whoever wrote the article. I shall examine it in a bookstore when it comes out…eventually.

I've seen the first episode of Black Cat's anime adaption by Gonzo

It seems as though the anime will be completely different from the manga.
I thought the opening was pretty good
The ending was just plain funny and cute

I'm probably going to watch it soon.

I've read a few chapters though. Kinda reminds me of Getbackers, just with less nudity and more gun/people dying.

Train kinda reminds me of Ginji and Sven Ban… he even has the mysterious eye thing going. His hat makes me all fangirlish though.

yeah it's quite different from the manga, which doesn't have to be a bad thing, but I still did not like the first episode very much. Was a bit too heavy on the comic relieve thingy if you ask me, but perhaps it'll get better. I'm gonna dl the next episode for sure but whether I'm gonna watch the whole series, I don't know yet.

it will probably follow the manga more closely in an episode or two, it looks like they were showing what trains past was like in that first episode and also how him and sven first met aparently. Some of the story elements from that first chapter actually took place as flashbacks later in the manga.

I thought it was a very good first episode though.

Combined two Black Cat threads together. One thread per title is enough? I mean, heck, Bleach only gets one thread .__.

I've heard of Black Cat but never really read it. But I think this is one of few series that is adapted to Anime after Manga serialization ended. (I was surprised.)

it looks ok, but i'll wait before being sure it's good. i thought trinity blood was cool after 3 eps but now i think it's total crap and really boring.
