It was a fun and intense chapter. And there's a chance someone will fight Zabuza, so that's cool. His "just in case" sounds ominous for some reason. As if he knows more than he lets on.
Not sure what to think of Pudding at this point.

Nami's plan and Zeus showing it's personality were really cool/funny this chapter, poor King Baum, expecting a lot of Pudding crying coming, I liked it since that is what I predicted and wanted this happen, she did fool her siblings to help Sanji.

Yayy finally! So Puddings tears are genuine eh…so the cake theory is more and more likely now. Cant wait! Sanji did teach pudding about chocolate and stuff early on.

Nice and action packed chapter! Ultimately I will be disappointed if it turns out Pudding was genuinely turned by Sanji's shallow comment alone, but at least for now her words are still ambiguous enough that she could be trying to manipulate Chiffon into helping. This much I can buy.

I thought that too at first, but isn't his attitude instead meant to show he recognizes the attack from that time Dory and Broggy freed the Strw Hats back in Little Garden?

Not sure that is possible since Big Mom would probably take her soul out of it and the thing would just die, but I would love it if that actually happened, it would be a nice powerup for Nami.

Shallow? she was ashamed of the eye and Sanji tells her it's beautiful and that is shallow? that comes to me as beautiful gesture not something shallow. I know Sanji acts shallow towards women most of the times, but this was a different situation.

Since the note on the last page says the tears are genuine, that actually kind of was a moving scene at the end. Better than the spoilers made it seem.
Hmm, I think this is one of those where I can not try to compare it to past chapters with tons of crazy events or revelations and just enjoy it for the storytelling tidbit it is. -

Hahah true, One Piece is full of great planers. I guess I get that vibe out of Katakuri because he doesn't seem to be underestimating Luffy, unlike the others.

I was planning to sit this one out, since I had already skimmed through the raw and I figured since there is a break next week, maybe it's better to let the chapters pile up. But boy oh boy, this was a great chapter, when you understood the dialogue.
I especially thought the artwork when Big Mom uses that Giant, flying slash was brilliant. Then also Prometheus, looking legit intimidating was awesome.
Oda really work miracles when it comes to making these bombastic, largescale panels. Poor King Baum, the guy just can't catch a break. It looks like he was reduced to subatomic level this time around. I guess it remains to be seen. Katakuri being at the Sunny intrigues me. The guy didn't take any chances this time around. I would hate for it to become a 1v1 with him and Luffy. A full on fight between him and all the Strawhats would be incredible. The possibility of Zeus becoming Nami's new weapon is cool as hell. I'm sure BM could use some ability to reclaim his soul so that he disappears. But that wouldn't be nearly as interesting as Nami actually using him for combat.
Sorry if this post comes across as rambling, but this chapter was brilliant.

I like the idea of her going complete Yandere and wanting to kill Sanji by herself and that she's upset BM might. It seems like there is little to add credence to it at this point. But Pudding has done so many face-heel turns it can't be positively excluded.

Like when Mom mentioned Garp back at Fishman Island she was probably fighting him in his prime when he was like 40 or something, so if she had her first kid in her twenties then Perospero and the early ones were probably just kids. Kinda cool imagining Mom fighting off big names like Garp and Sengoku and establishing herself.
That being said, she would have been Pirate Queen by now if Katakuri was in charge from the womb on.

The way this arc is moving, I don't see us getting to Wano this year. I do think we'll finish Whole Cake, but we'll only be at the Reverie when December rolls around.

SBS Volume 85 addressed some of this.
D: There are some characters who resemble Opera in chapter 845.
O: Big Mom is 68 years old now. She was (has been) giving birth to babies every year about for 42 years. Opera was born as quintuplets.
The highest record of Big Mom's multiple births is decuplets (10) children at one time. The children are now 18 years old. -

Don't give credit to goat guy, that was all on akainu. He was the one with the plan to turn squardo against wb, sengoku is a good guy, he doesn't use cheap tricks like that. He had to tell him sengoku said it because only him can stop the war, squardo would know akainu is lying if he said he will stop the war since he doesn't have that power.

Having read the chapter, I don't think Pudding is faking it. I think she really cares about Sanji and the Strawhats. It seems genuine to me. The cake theory seems all but confirmed at this point, however I actually don't think Sanji will take part in the cooking and preparation of this cake

I don't mind the cake theory as long as it is used to drive away Big Mom while the crew fights Katakuri's squad and escape.
If the Big Mom pirates genuinely let the crew escape as a reward for the cake I will be very disappointed. -

pudding is the source of everything wrong with this arc…. ok maybe I'm exaggerating, but her true face, and thus big mom's real plan, opened the road for a gruyere worthy amount of plot holes... and what's worse is that it was all for nothing since Oda planned to turn her good again because of a small compliment....
also, wow I didn't think Zeus was so shallow either... I thought those were special homies made from big mom's soul... and here it is betraying her for some sweets... at least baum wasn't a special one so I can buy a bit of free will... but him...

Nono, that was all Sengoku as Whitebeards comments later on and Oda shows us Sengoku´s face. Akainu was only the one executing it, probably because Aokiji would not have done it and Kizaru is too trollish in general.
Sengoku is moderate and calm, does not change the fact that he ordered everyone on Thriller Bark dead + ordered the death of the Oharan Scholars, at least followed up the orders.
He will do anything to achieve his goal and justice, tricking a pirate is nothing to him.
