How so ?
Last weak chapter luffy said that he had the hardest busoshoku he came across .
But in this chapter we now know it was not a person but a piece of armor with haki on it .

So lets see how hard\tough his really body is with haki .

I misspoke I should have probably said his haki is as strong as Luffy's. I assume that his real body is tough, but like he said he doesn't like pain so he uses clones and imbues them with haki so he doesn't have to get directly involved. With the giant scar on his face I assume he has taken damage directly before, but without knowing who he fought it makes it hard to estimate his strength.

Nothing to do with mastering ones fruit, by your definition every devil fruit (those with the ability to create) ability should be able to create a clone and give them commands because the user has mastered.

Not sure about Cracker. He seemed to be able to take out homies by something(so was it haki?), then proceeded to have ability to multiply things (multiplying the sword proved it), then he ends up having a completely different DF power. Em, or was he lying about the sword and it's just another bisquit which just looks like sword? Or is it the sword which have that other ability to multiply things?

Just read the chapter, Cracker's real design looks pretty cool, I don't think Oda has ever used that eye style very Majin Buu-esque. I don't understand why he revealed he can't take pain though, that's pretty much a guaranteed one shot from gear 4 to take him down. I also don't like how we're potentially skipping the fight. I have a feeling the next few chapters are going to be very Vinsmoke focused, so we may not get back to Luffy in a long while unfortunately.

i feel like not many ppl are paying attention to the two older brothers. they've gotten more mysteriousness than the father and were the last to be introduced. not only that, yonji kinda talked them up a bit and sanji is literally trembling, which we have never seen before. sanji is gonna have that traumatizing past and the cause of it are those two brothers. sn: the brothers may even be stronger than the father.

Sanji trembling was a weird scene. Are we sure he isn't just scared of his hands/marriage. How would Sanji even know if his older brothers are stronger than his Dad. He hasn't seem them in years? Plus he beat up Yonji just fine and he bullied him too.

Cool chapter. A friggin shame we cut away from the fight at its sweetest moment, when there was some real back and forth going on. And a shame too Oda couldn't hold it any longer and had to jump around scenarios like crazy again. Been a while since he did the "half a page and cut!" variety. And a day's gone, which means the fight's over, and it either will be told via flashbacks, or it Nami interrupted it and it didn't have a definitive conclusion, something I'd be very much ok with, better than a "Luffy won, and here's how he did it!", which I'm afraid is what we'll get.

Still, the chapter was definitely good. Sanji shivering was, weirdly enough, my favorite panel. I never expected to see someone like him shivering. And it cements the suspicion many have been having that Ichi and Ni are the real Vinsmoke villains.

Sucks about the break.

My thoughts on this chapter are a bit conflicting.

I overall really liked the chapter. I love any panel with Gear 4 Luffy and I'm enjoying the design the more I see it. However, I really have a problem with Luffy's arms "turning into six" BEFORE he punches in a way that is stationary. Before when he had "multiple arms", such as with Gomu Gomu no Gatling, you believed he was either punching so fast that it looked like there were multiple fists or they were ricocheting and once they were brought back he punched with them again. Even though yeah I'm pretty sure it's meant to resemble a set of cannons despite the attack name, I just don't buy this visual representation. It's like Zoro's Asura. Except that I could buy more because "it's his spirit". Why does Luffy temporarily have 6 stationary arms. If we've seen something like this before let me know, I certainly don't remember.

And yeah I'm of the group that really disliked Doflamingo's string clones. It's one of the few times in this crazy series that I just didn't buy the internal logic. I kind of buy it with this one because these can be built with a much more solid material. So I do like this more than Doffy's string clones. So I'm actually not sure if I'm fine with them in this situation. I think I am solely because Oda clearly put more thought into these (with the jam for blood etc.), and they're more "infinite soldiers". But… Just ONE of those clones requiring Gear 4? That's pretty nuts. Maybe since they're copies, their power is distributed? Anyway I hope this is pretty much the last time in the series we see a power to do with clones.

The fact that this did not occur to me makes me feel really stupid. Troll move on Oda's part making us think it was the split or multiply fruit. Scene from the last chapter where he slashes him with the three swords and Luffy blocking it with CoA makes more sense if you consider that it was because the swords are made of biscuits.

Yeah but it seems like Sanji was stronger than Yonji and Ichiji and Niji were the ones that held Sanji still so Yonji could beat him up. I mean he was traumatized as a kid by his brothers and so it makes sense that even if he is stronger now he would still have a phobia about them to this day.

Actually, Cracker just trolled everyone with him coughing up blood, so don't know if his sword has the ability to multiply or if it's biscuit. We don't see his swords multiply actually, so can't say if it's biscuit. He named his sword "pretzel" and said 'it's a unique weapon that has no peer" so maybe it's a true sword.
But doesn't matter, doubt he was hiding a "true sword" in his armor….
And even if it was biscuit, it's not weaker than steel so Luffy's haki is still better than Cracker's.

If it is Lucky Roo, then the only potential candidate from pre-existing characters would be Lola. Which would be pretty random, yet conveniently relevant since she finally came back into the picture this arc.

My only question about Lola is has she severed ties with Big Mom. Cause I just assumed that anyone she married would automatically become part of Big Mom's crew, yet if she severed ties then she seems to still have a good relationship with her mother. I really have no idea where this arc is going to go.

Not that I don't mind seeing Luffy struggling but I really wanna get out of this dumb forest already. Seriously the fight couldn't have at least ended at Big Mom's front gate? All this chapter did was feel like needless tension till the other Vinsmokes arrive. Though it seems Oda trying to pick up the pace with Brook and Pedro already heading inside. So we might be heading into our climax soon.

Also didn't really focus on Chopper much for such a chapter title but meh. I have a feeling trapping Chopper and Carrot in the mirror world gonna come back to bit Brulee when it comes to the wedding. Considering Big Mom just tempted fate that the SH won't reach Sanji in time, that usually when the baddies plans start heading south.

Oy no OP this week, the first since Bleach's departure. Feels weird without that to fall back on really.

For me the fact that Cracker didn’t report to Big Mum would rather mean Luffy has won (maybe with the help of Nami). Especially since we know Luffy cannot stay in gear 4 for a long time.
The best way Oda can use this timeskip is to let Big Mum think she has won. As a consequence they are not searched anymore and their stealth mission can start.

Yeah but Doffy made a clone that was an exact replica that could apparently operate independently. Same with crackers clones. While magellan could create a hydra he controlled its movements. To me the reason Doffy could create such a realistic clone was it was an offshoot of his awakened abilities where instead of turning other objects into string he makes a realistic looking one out of string. So the question is-given how much cracker relies on his fruit-does he also have awakened abilities?

Wouldn't Weevil/Weeble break the "Shichibukai" and "Yonko" power level comparisons? His strength is comparable to Whitebeard, a former Yonko, in Whitebeard's YOUTH! And I'm sure youth Whitebeard was stronger than old sick Whitebeard. So Weevil is both.

lol, once again I must recommend Vyvanse as a taker myself. Very helpful with ADD symptoms, such as wanting a storyline with tons of stuff to see and interact with, and further characterization of various characters required…..to reach its climax right now.

It's hard to say who is stronger. We haven't seen Cracker take on a direct hit from Luffy's 4th Gear hits. Doflamingo tanked quite a bit of damage, and still would stand his ground. And I do think it's possible Luffy will take out Cracker, in fact, I bet that it'll occur soon once we get past the Vinesmoke introduction -> possibly into the palace. What I think is obvious is that Luffy will be exhausted, and injured as he is already from the battle.

What that means is an obvious future power-up that'll be needed for Luffy to move forward.

There hasn't been a single devil fruit user who has made a solid material animatd besides this dude and you'll call it mastery, what's next; Aokiji creating fire.

I assume it's because they're shown to be something related to a childhood trauma that causes Sanji to potentially freak out, much like Vergo and the Buster Call did for Law and Robin respectively.
