Well, if Zou arc was 40 chapters long, Neko woul surely win this w ith about Barto-level dificulty. As things are now, it might be a bit tougher. That said Ryuunosuke climb is one of my favourite OP moments and I'm really tired of this I'll-call-everything-I-don't-like-a-meme tendency in today's internet, so Ryuu it is.

Nekomamushi is probably one of the freshest new characters we got in Zou. Definitely giving him my vote, particularly when the opponent is pretty much not even a character.
Everyone knows Ryunosuke as a creature that pushes himself to the limit to help his friends. But can that compare to Nekomamushi, who was crucified, gassed, and still pressed on his attack in order to protect his friends?

It's one thing to do the job you were drawn for, but Nekomamushi is so loyal to his allies, he gave a hand to save an ally. Literally.
Nekomamushi is indeed a very fine and lovely kitty, and should be appreciated. Yet I would also like to implore you voters to consider his competition. He may be only art, yes, but he is still a dragon, as well as a brave soul who tried his hardest, and never let his friends down, up until the end. Not to mention, to speak badly of him is to speak badly of a certain… other dragon. Who also began life as a drawing... and yet rose up to become a legend. I am of course talking about the name that cannot be forgotten, the burninator himself...
